- Jeremy Clarkson of Top Gear went to Dubai to visit the Sheikh Hamad bin Hamdan Al Nahyan of the Royal Family. The Rainbow Sheikh has a large collection of cars in his museum. The most notable cars were the Sheikh's seven Mercedes Benz 500 SEL painted by Merecedes in ranbow colors out of the factory.
Jeremy Clarkson later finds out that one of the Sheikh's most amazing cars was actually the Sheikh's jumbo sized Dodge Power Wagon, which is a mobile full sized house.
The Rainbow Sheikh is a 4x4 offroad enthusiast. His knowledge in 4x4 has led car makers such as Nissan and Renault to consult him on the development of solid axle cars. He offered his consultation without charging the companies a fee.

The vehicle at min 1:28-1:45 is not a product of the Sheikh.
It is the 1986 Mercedes Benz concept car called Centomobil.
This vehicle was mainly produced for the TV-show "Die Zukunft hat Geburtstag", shown on german TV at ARD at the 29th of January, 1986.
This anniversary show was held to celebrate the centennial of the automobile, mainly sponsored by Mercedes-Benz.

The Onion Motor Home trailer is made from the old Abu Dhabi main city water tank from the 1980s when Abu Dhabi was a village. They were going to scrap it but Sheik decided it had to be made into a motor home. Its an awesome 4 story home on wheels but can only be pulled by a Kenworth 963.

The huge Power Wagon scale is 4 to 1. All Hamad's vehicle body homes are 4 to 1 scale. I've spent time in them and listened to every word he told me about them.

Love all the cars I'm a big car guy myself but I have a $40 grand job a year so I build up older jeeps and motorcycle on a budget. If I could pick 10 cars from his collection one would be the power wagon. Love the look it's tough looking. Thks

It's nice to hear that this guy didn't forget his family/country's roots. Dispite his wealth he still seems to have a sense of honour, respect, appreciation, and humility.
Jack, you are correct, Hamad is a good man. As humble as a man with $25BN can be. He respects most things American but not without a cautious and very deep understanding of it. He lost some respect for his home country after his uncle the great Sheik Zayed died, so decided to carve his name in the sand on Futaisi the size of the worlds largest marina as a message to his cousins.
