Lauren, thank you SO MUCH ! First of all for caring and taking the time out of your life away from your family to go cover this case. Your play by play is exceptional ❤. I can't imagine how difficult it has been, and still here you are very consistent very professional and just so lovely as well. I have grown to love your channel. I join your supporters who are and have been invested in seeking justice for Abby & Libby, their families & all who love them. Thank you ❤
@@ricklynn2574 Lol....wow you are out of touch. It looks more like Ron Logan. It also looks like Brad Holder. But you probably know nothing about any of these guys. You must listen to the Nancy Grace type talking heads.
Thank you for being there. Libbys mother is one of my best friends. My heart breaks every night all over again when I watch your videos but I'm so thankful to hear it laid out so clearly since we can't watch too. Forever praying for my sweet Carrie, her girls, and Abbys family! 💔
Those little girls have touched the lives of so many. Their story will save lives, and one way or another, justice WILL be served. If not in this lifetime, the next it certainly will. ❤ Prayers for all souls involved.
I reached out to Delphi Police Department recently after the girls were found trying to give the family a large amount of money and they told me pretty much to fuck off
I've followed Libby and Abby's story since they were first declared missing. They and their families are in my prayers every day. I pray for them to get justice. Sending prayers from Ireland 🇮🇪 ❤
Small courtroom, having to sleep outside for a seat, no video or audio streaming, no devices to assist note taking … and now this judge is telling witnesses not to bother with the microphone? Ridiculous. I understand when pretrial hearings are closed, and I understand protecting the privacy of juries, but this is intolerable for a high-profile trial. Taxpayers keep the courts in business. We should be making a much bigger stink about this.
@kaybee187 This is my take. I want to read/hear her statements explaining why she has taken these actions but I have only seen others' interpretations of her reasons. I need to see if The Prosecutors podcast has taken up these questions!
So over explaining details is a sign of guilt, but not saying enough is a sign of guilt. Coming to the police voluntarily is a sign of guilt and refusing to cooperate with the police is a sign of guilt… I hope you never end up in the crosshairs of a desperate investigation.
Exactly the police want us to talk to them and then they do things like this?! Nope have a lawyer every single time . They want a question you tell them to go through your lawyer, if you don’t have the funds to keep a lawyer on retainer, I believe there are some lawyers that will represent you until you can find one for low cost.
I’m a mental health professional and this man was NOT faking it. I can’t say no one, but very few people would go that far if not for real. He was in a mental health crisis and no one gave a crap. They are so used to seeing it that it’s a daily occurrence. Which is altogether troubling. No one, not even animals deserve this treatment.
I’ve worked in prisons. I’ve seen how inmates are treated. RA wasn’t even a convicted felon and was fully shackled at all those legal interviews and hearings. I’ve never heard say he was ever violent with staff. It was done to intimidate and break him.
He is receiving a public trial. Hence, the queues of public and press lining up each day to attend court proceedings. Livestreaming and broadcasting has been prohibited (which is standard in the Hoosier state, although Judges have more discretion by the supreme Court) and after seeing youtubers share Gannon Stauch crime scene and autopsy photos behind a paywall I think it helps protect the victims, the families, the accused and keeps the integrity of the proceedings. This is a high-profile case of two minor children, and there's monsters out there salivating to get their hands on photos.
I’m trying to approach this as I’ve I’m a juror. At the beginning I really thought he was guilty. As the days go on…. I have no idea. Definitely reasonable doubt. So many mistakes made and terrible treatment of a man who at this moment is innocent until proven guilty. Either way I fear that there will be no justice for Abby and Libby. Excellent reporting
I agree 10000 percent exactly what you said ver betim. This trial has been a travesty I pray God reveals the killer despite this chaos n the right person pays for this crime! Be it him or someone else! I was sure it was him but i couldn't convict at this point under the law. Period!
Same here. I felt relief when he was arrested because I want justice for Abby and Libby. As I’ve been following this trial, I’ve become highly doubtful they will have justice. I’m not seeing compelling evidence against RA. Even worse, I’m seeing gross mistreatment and human rights violations. Unless they present some mind blowing evidence, I don’t see how he could be found guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. If he did it, law enforcement and the prosecution blew it. I’ve come away feeling sympathetic towards RA and unable to believe his multiple confessions (including killing his non-existent grandchildren).
Cops have refused to do DNA testing on hair and other items at the crime scene. That's a problem. It's a scam investigation carried out by incompetent people.
Same! I came into it without knowing anything about this case AT ALL, have only followed Lauren's daily court updates and right now I would have grave misgivings if I were ajuror
Thanks for all you do! I must be honest, if I was a juror, with everything I have heard, I couldn't convict. It's too much reasonable doubt and these girls deserve justice! RA seems to be what he called out during the first interrogation "The Fall Guy".
The police dept. In charge of the case was also under so much scrutiny for not being able to solve the case too. They were really under pressure to solve, solve, solve. I just think it's horrible that someone that hasn't been prosecuted has to live like this before hand.
For what it's worth, I am a psychiatric social worker who has worked in the criminal justice system for many years. It appears Mr Allen had mental health problems prior to 2017. IMO I think the prosecution's case is very weak. The shenanigans with the prosecution and judge over the years makes their case seem extremely baised. I think this guy is being rail roaded and it is infuriating. I believe Richard Allen had a psychotic break due to the stress of being incarcerated. I hope they have a psychiatrist for the defense coming. I wish they could also call the FBI to the stand to discuss why the Delphi investigators asked them to leave!!! Thanks for your hard work!! It seems like the court does not want anyone to see or hear to hide what is going on.
He is a scapegoat for the cops. They couldn't find the KILLER so they chose to pick one to charge. I think he is innocent and feel so sorry for the girls and families. The damage is done, his life is over no matter what. Where can this man go with finger always pointed to him...
How can you possibly think he’s innocent!??? He admitted to being at the literally crime scene days after the murders. Then changed the time he was there once questioned in 2022…like come on! He confessed to killing the girls with a box knife..that was all confidential information. He’s not innocent!!!!!
1:30:48 "The lights are on all the time, we dim them once in a while". Just having the lights on all of the time & with it never being dark at night when he's trying to sleep, is more than enough to make him depressed, "S", have anxiety, not sleep, and make him unstable!
Thank you for actually reporting what happens each day. So many others are injecting their personal opinions which makes it hard to hear about testimony and other evidence so we can assess it ourselves.
Agree. Some people are just nuts with their conspiracies. They have been watching too much tv. Lauren does such a great job. We must be very thankfull she is doing this
I think the witnesses being instructed to not speak loudly enough for the gallery to hear says EVERYTHING about this trial. There is something extremely telling about the intense secrecy revolving around it. If this man is convicted I pray to god he is the right one. It feels, however...like West memphis three all over again.
I don’t believe the “confessions”. The correctional officers disgust me…There is no legal reason for him to have been held “in the hole”. I hope there is justice.
It's likely for his protection, jails don't exactly have exorbitant resources to protect a high profile suspect. Child harmers are targeted in prisons.
@@its.rebbitthe's been housed in a jail since his lawyers finally got him moved from solitary confinement at a MAX prison. If it's acceptable now, why wasn't it acceptable then? Nothing has changed. Except his mental condition. Their goal was to break him, and they succeeded.
It is interesting hearing the interpretations of the day by creators that think he’s guilty vs creators that thinks he’s innocent that were both in court and watched the same video.
@@GetOutOfMyKitchen6713They hate the defense team and RA. Can’t trust anything they say. I used to listen to them a long time ago. In fact they are who got me interested in this case. But they fell off the rails a long time ago. Extreme bias with them and what’s worse is they won’t even admit it.
@@kitchenkraze1599 Yes but it just blows my mind how it was like they were completely changing what others have said in the Holeman interrogation videos. A lot of channels you can see which way they are leaning but with that MS episode last night it was like they blatantly made up stuff.
Lauren: You are gonna be damned for one thing or another in this case because it is a hot mess and the public is frustrated. You are a good human doing your best to report the in-court experience. Thank you for your dedication to transparency, especially in light of the unusual court rules. This is nuts and you are trying to remain unbiased in your coverage-- that effort is clear.
I agree even though I've mentioned the way Lauren emphasises the way RA says things in a cocktail way... looked at other people reports and nobody else has reported that tone. He doesn't say that the car in the video is his. People interpret things differently.
Transparency,Transparency,Transparency. That is the key to any trial. When there is none, there is no way to believe the evidence or lack of evidence. My mind is not made up, I want justice for the victims, but also justice for the innocent. I know that if I was locked up in a small room for 13 months, I think I would go crazy too. Listening to the objections that are being done, is also showing how distrustful the state is being. They are objecting to checking the truthfulness of the witness. Transparency.
I dont understand why he was not transfered to a mental health hospital, in a locked unit or while being continued in custody with law enforcement nearby. He is not a prisoner. He is detained, in jail, pending trial. Innocent until proven guilty. He still has rights to reasonable health care. They did this for Lori Vallow. Even if this is a federal medical facility, I don't understand how he doesn't have rights to a health care facility independent of the prison. Thank you, Lauren, for bringing this to us. Im concerned by the obvious attempts to occlude the transparency of this trial. I am a RN and have a bachelor's in psychology. I really enjoy listening to Dr. John and you break down these cases. If RA did it, I hope he's held accountable. If he didn't, and has suffered at the hands of others, I hope there will be accountability.
Thank you so much for reporting the FACTS in such a respectful and unbiased way. I cannot imagine being away from my kiddo and the fact that you're doing it to help bring info and justice for these young ladies, I commend you. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
It's so weird how some people are saying you're biased but I'm over here thinking Omg i can't wait to be able to hear your opinion of things once this is all over (if that's seething you ever give) bc this is all facts!thank you thank you thank you ♥️
Can’t wait to hear from Dr. John! We are adults and can form our own opinions but should stay open to other points of view. I respect John and Lauren’s opinion/professions!
Yep, though Dr John now owes the man in the box aka Richard Allen a huge apology after suggesting the incident which involved police and Emergency Room care was flat out a case of spousal abuse. The man tried to off himself.
29:00 the 2 jurors were smiling, because they know this entire interview was BS. They are starting to see the corruption and error in fingering RA for this crime. Because he obviously did not do it. Re: to Lauren wondering why the two jurors were smiling at RA calling the investigator a hole as he walked out of that “interview”. *** everyone should be scared that something like this could happen to them, being accused and bullied by law-enforcement like this.
I’m curious, do you have a viable theory? Not sure RA did it, but so many proclaim his innocence and then go on to proclaim some other person guilty. When you ask why they think their chosen person is guilty, they give evidence that is even more far fetched and delusional than the evidence people are complaining about with RA. It’s difficult to take conspiracy theorists seriously, but if someone has a rational, viable theory…I’m all ears. And to be clear, I’m not saying we should say RA did it just because there are no other viable theories, but it just cracks me up that people will talk down on the evidence against RA and then go on to make the most far fetched claims ever while trying to pin it on some other person. I can’t buy what a person is selling when they do that…
@butterfly_kisses So you've condemned Rick from media reports too huh?? "There before the grace of God go I" Let's hope you never get FALSELY ACCUSED. What exactly is the "evidence " you've used to come to that conclusion?
You are doing an amazing job! Let me tell you how amazing. Other than you and Andrea, most of the other podcasters are breaking down. Yet you and Andrea just make it understandable.
There is no justice for Abby and Libby that will come from this trial. Period. It’s heartbreaking and infuriating. Injustice all around in this case…victims & families, accused & family, the community and the public at large. It should terrify all watching. 👀
Having sympathy for the uninvolved family members of Libby and Abby should not equate to guilt for RA. Emotions are not facts. Absolutely nothing factual at this point even comes close to proving it was RA. Whoever committed this crime is a violent, heartless, brutal horrible demon and that person or people is still out there and that is terrifying
@@kjab87 it is absolutely unacceptable. I would expect any mental health professional (especially one who is forensically certified) to stand against such maltreatment.
@@erinDO he said in their pre trial livestream that he thinks Allen was malingering. Did he meet him? No . Very unprofessional from a supposed mental health professional.
If they are claiming that all of his other outrageous acts are just a means to get attention by a totally sane man, why do his confessions suddenly stop falling under that classification? I’ve worked in numerous mental health and elder care facilities. Both have patients in various states of detachment from reality. Regardless of their mental condition, the living conditions associated with mental conditions are often similar to a prisoner in solitary confinement or the “suicide watch” that they are using to justify what is clearly a workaround to place an innocent(until proven guilty) person in solitary confinement. The outbursts of outrageous behaviors described by the “watchers” are ABSOLUTELY UNIVERSAL to people in this kind of pseudo-solitary confinement. Humans are social animals. Because none of us have ever experienced long-term isolation, we cannot even begin to understand the devastating impact that it has on a person. It is torture that you cannot even imagine. The desperation for any sort of human contact, regardless of whether it is positive or negative, becomes all-consuming. You will do or say ANYTHING to have contact with another human. It sounds absolutely clear to me that the ONLY thing that would elicit a response from the potential human contact that was placed, intentionally and tantalizingly, just outside the door, was to announce his guilt. He tried absolutely everything else he could to force them to interact with him, before escalating to the logical absolute extreme that he hoped would get a response. When it worked, it became his go-to option to get the human contact that he needed in order to survive his torture. I’ve watched this form of escalating innapropriate behaviors occur LITERALLY HUNDREDS of times. Dozens of them confessed to murders, rapes, and acts of war. They claimed to have had all of these things done to them. Playing with their waste is extremely common. When they return to normal life, they don’t remember any of the time they spent in solitary confinement. They cannot justify or explain their behaviors because, as I said before, their brain is in SURVIVAL MODE. Their brain is DYING. It’s very similar to drowning. A drowning victim will drown their own family members in their desperation to use them as a flotation device to get just one breath of air. A starving person will eat their own child’s corpse and drink their own urine to survive. But the best comparison I can offer is a person in opiate withdrawal. If we’ve learned anything from the absolute epidemic of opiate addiction that has ravaged our country, it’s that drug dependency is not due to a moral failing or mental weakness. It will take ANY PERSON and turn them into a screaming and writhing ball of unimaginable torment. Their desperation for relief overcomes all dignity, disregards all loyalty, and overpowers all morality. When they steam from family, lie to friends, and sell their most prized possessions until they completely destroy everything they’ve ever had, they don’t do it from a position of any sort of malice or evil. They are being tortured in ways we cannot even begin to imagine. They aren’t looking to have a good time. They only want the torture to stop for a little while. Solitary confinement is EXACTLY THE SAME. They will do ANYTHING to make the agony of loneliness. It’s impossible to understand either of these experiences. But you need to understand that either one leaves the victim totally detached from what we call “life”. Either one guarantees that the victim will do anything you want them too, if only you will give them the relief they so desperately need. And either one will absolutely lead to the victim killing themselves if all means to find that relief are exhausted. With no other options, they will simply stop eating or drinking until they just wither and die. That is how totally robbed of the spark to survive they are. If you think that it wouldn’t make you confess to murdering two children, YOU ARE WRONG. And if they are claiming that all of his other outrageous acts are just a means to get attention by a totally sane man, why do his confessions suddenly stop falling under that classification?
That is very powerful and amazing way to explain the effect of solitary. Thank you so much for taking the time to explain it. Hope Lauren and Dr John see your comment.
Thank you! Your perspective is important. I saw someone ask on reddit Delphi docs if his behavior was typical for psychosis. I think you have an informed and experienced perspective.
I'm surprised so many people are 100% convinced he is innocent already Him being there at the time the crime was commited is a pretty big deal. I personally haven't made up my mind yet, I need more, at this point there is reasonable doubt. Hope it becomes more clear, in any direction, as the trial moves forward.
There are definitely people who believe he is 100% innocent before seeing the evidence but everyone is supposed to start with innocent and have guilt proven, to the standard.
@@malinoscarsson9362 let’s wait for the defense. Maybe they can answer your questions. But I’m doubtful they will be able to present their whole argument - Gull is not pleased with the defense. They were supposed to just roll over.
People are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. However, you don't have to be convinced of that personally, you can still lean towards guilty based on information coming out. But obviously that doesn't mean the person shouldn't have a proper trial, we can't just throw people in jail. Yes, time will tell. Hopefully!😊
The more I learn about this case, the more infuriated I become - for all "involved". This judicial process/system is a total joke. Unbelievable. It sounds like the jurors are intelligent, based on what your channel has disclosed about them. This case should have been handled differently on so many levels....
Law Enforcement never said it's 100% fact that a box cutter was used! Therefore RA saying he did it with a box cutter, plus saying he murdered his family & his non-existent grandkids, means nothing and none of this is a confession!
The ME thought it was a box cutter, he was not sure on one of the wounds how it was made. The ME went home and thought it was box cutters, it's not a hundred percent though. I agree with you it's pretty damming evidence but I have so much doubt. He changed when he got that legal mail which was odd too
The ME said that years later after he’d heard what RA said. Pretty suspicious. Besides, RA didn’t say he killed them with it, only that he took one from CVS then threw it in the dumpster.
The ME never said a word about box cutters in his report. It only came up in trial testimony. Which I might add was after the prosecution had reviewed all the “confessions”.
@@suzinaccache The way I understood it, the ME didn't amend his report, just his testimony in court that wasn't given to the Defense...after suddenly coming up with a box cutter 7 years later. If that was new, legitimate information, wouldn't the ME supplement the original report? I mean 'cross the 't's and dot the i's' in a major case, right? It is unbelievable, imo.
I'm thinking the more I hear, the less guilty Richard Allan appears. I was hoping they'd caught the killer/killers and there would be some justice. It's definitely possible his poor man is being railroaded. Even if found not guilty, he and his wife are traumatized for the rest of their lives. Their position in their community will never be the same. What a travesty. The cop that's interviewing Allan is doing his best to brow beat him into a false confession. It's extra low to use this man's mental health issues against him as leverage. No wonder the judge is trying to pressure the attendees into giving up on reporting details of the trial.
New here. Been listening to you for a week and by far you’re the best reporter on this case and your voice is calming & easy to understand! Thank you for all you do in this case!!!
The coverage from you on this is spectacular, Lauren. So impressed. I've been abroad recently and haven't been able to join lives but it's so easy to catch up with what's been going on thanks to your incredible notes and reporting. Appreciate you, Queen Gem! 💎

Thank u so much Lauren.. I can't believe how very dedicated u and Dr. John are.. esp you Lauren so much time spent even camping on the court steps.. so dedicated. Appreciate u Lauren🩷💚🩷 u did a great job!!
This is one of the most important points of coverage done! It’s so impeccably accomplished without bias by LM-HTC! It’s as if one was in the courtroom.
Really? I seen it as incompetence on police side as they never got to talk him around on handing his phone to them to ACCOUNT his location during that murder. Richard Allen just went to police to say he was there cos he probably thought somebody had seen him there. But he was not willing to prove at all that he is not the murderer. He just expects the police will accept his words without physical evidence. How hard is it to hand your phone if you’re not guilty? Any innocent person would be happy to prove their phone pings would prove they are not in the location
Lauren is biased against Rick Allen in her reporting and her psychologist husband is also biased. She would never go against her husband's perspective which is always pro-prosecution. With what I have listened to thus far, I would vote NOT GUILTY!!!
@@michelleclarke8500he doesn’t have to prove his innocence. He is innocent until proven guilty. The burden of proof is on the prosecution. A missing phone from 5 years ago doesn’t prove guilt. Maybe if they followed up with him when he went to police that phone would have been around. This case is such a mess.
Law enforcement is desperate to find anyone for this crime. They have no evidence, dragging the families through this with garbage for a case. He has been framed.
He himself says he was there at that time, wearing those clothes. There's video of a car matching his driving toward where he said he parked, and at the same time he said he parked. He said he saw the same girls who said they saw him. There's a photo one of the girls took that verifies the time they would have passed each other. The unspent round found at the scene matches his gun. It's very hard to believe there was another man there at that same time wearing the same clothes.
@@MM-rs6tk But how do you explain him being there within the time of the crime? We know this; he said he was on the bridge, where a witness saw him. We know the time based on the footage of the cars arriving and Betsy's phone activity. He said he saw three girls and three girls said they saw him. The time matches up with the time Betsy saw him on the bridge. It's also in line with when the girls arrived and were abducted. What's your theory about that?
@@malinoscarsson9362 There were a lot of people there that day. Remember one of the witnesses couldn't park where she wanted because there were too many cars. Also, none of the witnesses described the same man. One who was 5'7" said he was taller than her.
It was perfectly clear all the way through till the last 5 mins. Audio wise - your description of the court room and it’s people and the details are always on point. I completely agree! Absolutely convinced! I haven’t checked in here because I saw the first few for 10mins and was so disappointed. I’ll see how they take on the next case
To me everything's a coincidence. I mean that bullet could have been there. How long really and Ron Logan? I still have questions but he's dead. It's the fact they have zero evidence against this guy who has been in prison and nobody can even say hey. That's Richard Allen. That's the guy that was on the bridge. That's the same voice. It's crazy
@@fishinforthetruth2762 I feel this channel supports RA being guilty, which is ok. As in we all have different opinions and come to different conclusions. I guess they Lauren & Dr. M.. don’t want to consider they could have gotten it wrong. At the end of the day.. Your channel your business..
Man, it’s obvious just how hard to hear it is for y’all in court because every day I watch a couple different recaps and everyone has vastly different things written down that they believe were said. Thank you guys for doing this extremely hard work and getting the information to us. I wish it was more transparent to the public because it’s obvious no one can clearly get all the info or accurately hear what was said all the time.

I'm kinda in the middle waiting for the rest of the trial testimonies and stuff. Hoping RA takes the stand, I would insist if I was innocent, it's his last hope. Honestly, a hung jury would not surprise me. I find it so interesting people on both sides are convinced in their beliefs. Everyone sees things and thinks differently.
I don't think it's solid. I'm on the shelf. I soo want justice for Abby and Libby, putting away the wrong guy would not he justice. I can't believe there is no DNA..
I appreciate your reading us the notes so that we can know what the jurors are hearing otherwise when the verdict comes in we at least understand what they heard❤
Other people werw not allowed face to face with family..... theyrw comparing him to GUILTY inmates in PRISON in the HOLE. When he hadnt been convicted. He should have been in JAIL pre trial if anybody has faith in your justice system. I'm in the UK and totally mortified by how he has been treated regardless of guilt. Part of me HOPES HE IS GUILTY! because for an innocent man to have experienced just ONE day of this treatment is against all human rights and would not happen here in the UK. Where is the humanity!?
Regardless of his innocence or guilt AFTER the verdict will come in, I am shocked at how many people, the chat for this stream included, are fine with someone that hasn't been convicted yet being treated as if they are. All I'll say is let's see how you react if it were to happen to you. And then you'd get to see people shrug you off. The guy wasn't "convicted" yet.
I think it’s interesting RA uses the girls names in his interrogations and confession. The way I was taught, most killers want to remove themselves from their victims and as such will often use words or phrases such as “the girls” rather than their names.
Thank you for your dedication! You transcribed the day and really put me in the courtroom, amazing work. This is difficult to listen to, the jury is facing such a hard decision. Hoping you are able to disconnect a little every evening, this will take a toll on anyone’s mental health.
Your commentary comes across as very biased Lauren. It is very obvious you are anti Richard Allen. I have listened to other presenters in the courtroom and their opinions are more balanced and objective. I always believed RA could be guilty but this trial is quickly changing my thoughts. How could a NON convicted man be treated so appallingly in prison when he should only be in jail awaiting trial. It is no wonder this judge and this courtroom is being so secretive and limits public access so much. LE in this case is not presenting well at all.
She's not biased she's reporting what she sees I've heard her speak objectively from both sides. She wants real justice just like we all do regardless of her personal opinion
Yeah- she seemed convinced RA is Bridge Guy. Her husband & her did an entire video on “Delphi” in Greek Mythology & Oedipus, guilt, etc, blaming RA the entire time.
Biased?! She basically read an exact transcript and doesn’t even hardly comment other than to point out the facts. YOU are biased by pulling some social justice for prisoners BS. If he didn’t do it, the jury will make that decision. He went to prison and went nuts…it’s not the prisons fault that he went crazy. His clearest confession was that “he planned to R the girls and panicked and killed them instead”. ONLY THE PERSON RESPONSIBLE WOULD KNOW THAT INFORMATION!
Fantastic coverage. I look forward to every video. I love how you stay impartial. Your hard work is appreciated. Including your genuine compassion for the girls in your reporting makes all the difference for the listeners. Thank you for everything you do.

Sounds like guards would get positive reinforcement for negative observation, negative reinforcement for positive observations for messing up PROSECUTION'S CASE
These “confessions” folded within feces eating is not… right. I am also wondering when these confessions will reveal facts about the crime only the offender would know. This is all very ick. I am shocked by the acceptance of any statements under these conditions. How can this be overlooked??
I think the "detail that only the killer would know" is that he mentioned a box cutter at some point and the pathologist speculated that a box cutter *may* have been used?
They didn't have anything on him. Maybe he just fit their framing ..using his family loyalty against him knowing he would do anything for his wife and child.
your note taking skills are beyond human. amazing. subbed. great reporting, btw. i wish more "journalists" would take some notes from your delivery of facts without the addition of "here is how you should interpret this". appreciate the work. ty.
They have no conclusive evidence against him. He went to the police to report what he saw that day. After hearing the notes of the interagrations, and the wardens testimony along with the corrections officers testimonies. Im disgusted by the mistreatment of a person who is considered innocent until proven guilty. Its been two years this man has been confined to prison. Solitary confinement and unwillingly drugged with Haldol. Complete travisty of justice for the girls, their families. For Richard Allen and his family. I hope the FBI takes over this corrupted case evidence. And investigates everyone involved in this crime from Judge Gull down the ladder.

@@candeezymarie9827 we should be focusing on the girls here but we cannot bc that states “facts” don’t line up & we have a judge that doesn’t want anyone to see it. And that is not fair to Abby and Libby or their families - but it must be done or there is no justice.
This man was kept in horrific conditions and put in solitary confinement you'd be screaming stuff out as well. What they've done to this man is nothing short of criminal. They really need to look and find the person or people that unlived Abby and Libby because it's not RA.

I’ve worked in prisons. I’ve seen how inmates are treated. RA wasn’t even a convicted felon and was fully shackled at all those legal interviews and hearings. I’ve never heard say he was ever violent with staff. It was done to intimidate and break him.
You have to wonder why they are making it so difficult for Allen to get a public trial.
Because it's all rigged and more than likely the killer is related to someone higher up in the community

I’m curious, do you have a viable theory? Not sure RA did it, but so many proclaim his innocence and then go on to proclaim some other person guilty.

I'm thinking the more I hear, the less guilty Richard Allan appears. I was hoping they'd caught the killer/killers and there would be some justice. Their position in their community will never be the same. What a travesty. The cop that's interviewing Allan is doing his best to brow beat him into a false confession. These interrogations have me leaning towards a mistrial or not guilty. Richard is responding to accusations like an innocent man would.
He said he saw the same girls who said they saw him. There's a photo one of the girls took that verifies the time they would have passed each other. The unspent round found at the scene matches his gun. It's very hard to believe there was another man there at that same time wearing the same clothes.
Agree 100%, He HAS been framed!!
@@wildflower868witnesses said taller than 5’11, muscular and beautiful. And the bullet didn’t match when manually cycled.
I’m from Ireland but this case in particular really intrigued me and obviously greatly saddened me. You’re doing a stellar job as usual! ☘️☠️👽
Thank you for all you are doing to keep us informed. So proud of you
unpopular opinion here that no one asked for but i wholeheartedly do not believe that R. A . is the perpetrator! i believe these wild weird confessions are due to the fact that he is locked in a prison without any human contact other than his S watchers . he doesn’t want his family in this mess and i would confess to just to stop it.
I completely agree! Absolutely convinced! I haven’t checked in here because I saw the first few for 10mins and was so disappointed. I’ll see how they take on the next case
I'm interested in the COs being assigned to harass RA- but. Of course. We cannot ask anything about their affiliations
According to her husband, he thinks RA is guilty for whatever reason, I never understood how when so much has been hidden from them public. I guess they Lauren & Dr. M.. don’t want to consider they could have gotten it wrong. At the end of the day.. Your channel your business..
I 💯 agree
Man, it’s obvious just how hard to hear it is for y’all in court because every day I watch a couple different recaps and everyone has vastly different things written down that they believe were said.
Thank you guys for doing this extremely hard work and getting the information to us. I wish it was more transparent to the public because it’s obvious no one can clearly get all the info or accurately hear what was said all the time.
That was definitely on purpose. Judge is biased af.
I don’t believe RA is guilty and I feel these girls will never get justice. It’s really sad and scary if they don’t get the right guy and someone else get hurt.😢
Allen is so clearly guilty. Smh.
@@MegaTinni Not clearly enough for me yet.
@@MegaTinni I’m open to hearing what makes you so confident. That isn’t meant to be condescending. It’s possible I’ve missed something important.
Thanks!
It’s the US-humanity? 😂
Completely agree 💯
Thank you, and I hope the entire country has such lucididy. This cannot be tolerated in 2024.
Yea it is very concerning
I think it’s interesting RA uses the girls names in his interrogations and confession. The way I was taught, most killers want to remove themselves from their victims and as such will often use words or phrases such as “the girls” rather than their names.
That's true, even killer parents avoid the name of their child victims.
Ted Bundy used the names of his victims.
And he added other names too.
Ah here's another Sherlock knows it all. Stop watching tv shows. 😂
Thank you for your dedication! You transcribed the day and really put me in the courtroom, amazing work. This is difficult to listen to, the jury is facing such a hard decision. Hoping you are able to disconnect a little every evening, this will take a toll on anyone’s mental health.
Just started following you, and am so appreciative of your commitment and simple explanations. THANK YOU
This is excellent Lauren x
I heavily disagree.
@@michelletruelove7783do you believe Allen is guilty?
Thanks
Fantastic coverage. I look forward to every video. I love how you stay impartial. Your hard work is appreciated. Including your genuine compassion for the girls in your reporting makes all the difference for the listeners. Thank you for everything you do.
he is very, very firm in his denial. To me it sounds as if he knows he wasn’t with the girls and so nothing can connect him to the crime. My opinion.
He said if I was gonna do something like this. 🤷♀️
Agree. It doesn’t change until the solitary confinement. I think the actual perpetrator is long gone.
Wow! Amazing reporting. You are excellent at your job.
I have anxiety and depression. I am an over explainer who likes to avoid other people. He seems the same.
Hats off to you girl.. you're a tropper! Amazing reporting Lauren! Your note taking is so impressive. Thank you so much for all you’re doing for us. Enjoy Halloween with your little guy!
Because there’s suspicion of malingering.
@@pikas_palace but didn’t the ME conveniently introduce the box cutter only after this “confession”? Never mentioned beforehand. Typical rail roading.

Right!? Me too...
I never understood why he was ever arrested they just wanna pin it on anyone its sad
Rick Allen has been framed!!
I keep reading this but also wonder if or why a grand jury indicted him.
They didn't have anything on him. Maybe he just fit their framing ..using his family loyalty against him knowing he would do anything for his wife and child.
your note taking skills are beyond human. amazing. subbed. great reporting, btw. i wish more "journalists" would take some notes from your delivery of facts without the addition of "here is how you should interpret this". appreciate the work. ty.
You aren't biased Lauren. You are doing great!
One of the original fbi agents was ambushed and murdered.
You are expressing your sympathy for this killer. I am disgusted.
@MegaTinni I am disgusted by you and anyone like you that would pass judgement on someone without conclusive evidence of guilt. So ges. 👍

As someone that has worked professionally with dogs for over 20 years, I can say that we use “lead” and “leash” pretty interchangeably. It’s potato/potatoe.
When someone is lying or feels guilty they often over-explain something that could be answered simply.
Or they and innocent and being railroaded
Or they are neurodivergent
Actually being abused mentally emotionally or physically and wanting to defend your character. Will have you trying to get your point across in so many different ways hoping they understand

Ooo judges/attorneys etc etc.

@@candeezymarie9827 we should be focusing on the girls here but we cannot bc that states “facts” don’t line up & we have a judge that doesn’t want anyone to see it.
Now we have to stand up and shout about this the way we have to continue to shouting about Karen Reed. We have to fight for the victims of the state too.
