WRONG! City do have players that look at their achievements and big contracts, but guess what makes them get over that? Pep Guardiola has the luxury of having a player just as good sitting right behind them on the bench. If your standards drop you get sat, even the best players like Haaland and De Bruyne get benched and they don't like it. But guess what they do, they get angry, work harder and get back in the side. That's a compliment to how Pep runs his team, but it also points to the advantage of having 2 world class players for every position. Not many if any other sides can say that - perhaps Real Madrid and that's why those 2 teams win all the trophies most seasons.
