    Allahumma bariik akhi the points your brought up was amazing. I believe us Muslim youth especially should utilise the 9-5 and not let the 9-5 use us. Going into the 9-5 with the goal of setting up something on the side is the best way of action. I’m currently in an apprenticeship but I know in shaa Allah I want to become a business owner. May Allah make it easy for me and all of us.

      Ameen! Like I said in the video, definitely utilise the 9-5 to stack up the money, build the side hustle and eventually make that main. Then you can start hiring other Muslims in sha Allah adheem, you’ve got this bro!

      @@umedmalik5494 brother don't expect to have the business idea dropped on your doorstep. But I'll give you a good formula for coming up with one: 1. experience a pain or inconvenience 2. think of a solution to this pain 3. market that solution to other people who have felt that same pain 4. scale.

    Hit the nail on the head. I left the roads a few years ago when I got shot and went to prison and beat a very serious case that nearly put me away for a long time.
    Alhamdulilah since then I’ve managed to go legit and get on my deen however this recent finance job I got is already messing with my heart and soul as since I started it they always have these meetings at 1.30/2 on Fridays which means I can’t go to jumuah at the same time and I’ve missed nearly every one since I worked the job.
    When I told them about jumuah they disregarded it and the many other corporate issues that defeat your soul. Employee life and corporate world jobs aren’t the one. It’s not about the money it’s the issues that you have to deal and the B.S. I’m making dua all the time that Allah grants me success with my e-commerce business I’ve built.

      Ahh damn bro, may Allah make you successful in your business bro! This is a prime example of what I’m talking about.

    Agree with you 100%, may Allah bless you for the efforts and make it easy for us. Am in the same boat, doing my own thing but people still tend to stay within their comfortzone which is an illusion as you could still lose your job even with a contract. So it's not that less of a risk as one may think. Another thing is, muslims have to start investing and supporting in one another. From personal experience there's a huge lack in that regard. There's a reason why the jews are at the top of the foodchain, they help each other out.

    Asalamu Alaikum, I am very happy to hear about this next step Esa. I myself have not worked at a career yet but I am hoping to work 9-5 but fully-remote so that its flexible with salah and also there is no in-person interacting with non-mahram. I would imagine its just working on your own and only attending mandatory online meetings and nothing else which sounds pretty nice for me as a start. May Allah put barakah in your business akhi and multiply it and give you and your family the best in this life and the next, Ameen.

    • @bigesa
      @bigesa  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Waalaikum salaam wa rahmatullah wa barakatuh my friend, yep since the pandemic there as been many opportunities for fully remote roles and they do give you the chance to be much more flexible with your salah.
      In my experience, one of my roles were fully remote but I had to adhere to 15 min break times and 45 min lunches, some of which were outside salah times which required me to take comfort breaks. If these were too long then there’d be issue. My current role (and what a lot of companies are doing) was a hybrid (2 days in office, 3 days home). It really does depend if you get a good, understanding manager and a company with flexibility when it comes to breaks but with enough du’a you should be able to find something!

    @bigesa Assalamu alaikkum brother. Appreciate your thoughts on muslim entrepreneurship. I myself switched to entrepreneurship game 12 years ago due to various issues at the workplace including deeni matters. Coming to your topic, it's better to avoid youtube monetization brother. These are doubtful matters and there's a strong opinion that the income generated through youtube ads isn't halal. Instead you may use it to build your brand and In Sha Allah Allah will bless you with more income from different ways beyond your imagination. Barak Allahu Feekum

      I believe there's a way to block specific topics from being advertised on your channel. For example, I've noticed that many Islamic channels often show ads related to Islamic charities, such as those supporting people in Yemen or promoting Qurbani. If you've seen these ads, you probably know the type I'm referring to.

      Regarding TH-cam monetisation, I’ll definitely need to do my research on this one. I’ve seen Islamic ads on videos of dawah channels (nasheeha sessions, Ali dawah, Mohammed Hijab, etc) so will need to look into how I can apply this further. Forgive me for what you have seen and I pray Allah continue to guides our hearts and make us successful in the dunya and akhira.

      @@R-letter-RR instead of engaging in any sort of critique publicly for everyone to see, contact the brother via any social media platform PRIVATELY and air your thoughts in a way that isn’t condescending. Do your haram policing in a way that isn’t hypocritical and besides the point. You’re comparing this brother to “other influencers who cater to haram sponsors,” lol you’re a proper clown. May Allah guide you joke men behind the screen thinking you’ve received the caliphate to patrol the TH-cam Muslim scene.

      @@GasTraining Instead of being so close minded to not care for the larger audience you come across, where you tell certain folks of the audience to “privately” message others, when the public could benefit from keeping the discourse open, giving them food for thought, for others to learn from.....as the brother himself made a video encouraging entrepreneurship, discussing potential revenue paths.....where he may or might not know, as well as his interested audience may or may not know.....hence why I am not the only one who left such a similar comments in his posts. You calling people clowns and hypocrites while showcasing your obliviousness is truly comical and ironic. Whatever helps you sleep at night champ. Learn to read contextually first before spewing such arrogant and pessimistic rhetoric. I said...”a quick search about the topic of TH-cam Ads monetization and Islam informs about what I stated above. Same with many Muslim influencers who cater with or to sponsors that promote sin/haraam”......the 2nd sentence was an addition to the first sentence, to conduct an observational search term/query, while also reiterating the consideration for the brother to keep that in mind when it comes to that area of financial incentive......but here you come along, cherry picking, misinterpreting it, clutching onto “haram police” comparing the brother to “haram influencers”? Grow up....and get a life instead of making such incoherent, rash assumptions filled with opinionated swaggering. Even the brother in his first reply to me, understood what you didn’t want to. Without providing constructive criticism, questioning, sourcing adaptions.....Islam cannot make progress nor proper adherence in the modernistic issues of the present times. May Allah SWT guide you bud......

      Sahih al-Bukhari 2641 - Narrated ‘Umar Bin Al-Khaṭṭāb (may Allāh be pleased with him): People were at times judged by the revelation in the time of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessing upon him, and now the revelation has ceased. Now we judge you by the deeds you practice publicly, so we will trust and favor the one who does good deeds in front of us, and we will not call him to account about what he is really doing in secret, for Allāh will judge him for that; but we will not trust or believe the one who presents to us with an evil deed even if he claims that his intentions were good.

    Mu’adh ibn Anas reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Whoever recites the chapter ten times completely, ‘He is Allah, the One’ [surah ikhlas] (112:1), Allah will build a palace for him in Paradise.”
