Hey, interesting tank setup. Im keeping my sulawesishrimp without any substrate- just bare lava rocks on the glas :) cus its easier to keep it clean. Especially for my Towuti shrimp- they seem a lot more sensitive then the posos. By the way how do you avoid cross breeding if you keep all these species together in the same tank? especially dennerli & spinata or red tigri & woltereckae crossbreed quite easy. on the other hand those hybrids are quite beautiful too 😊 oh and before i forget, do you also keep the shell dwellers, c. mayamareenae? that would be awesome. Have a great day- 😁✌️
So I started from Neocaridina shrimp specifically blue dreams I had a hard time keeping them alive and then when I decided to go into sulawesi shrimp and know that I can put my blue dream shrimp and sulawesi together both of their populations exploded I felt like the blue dreams needed the same water parameters
Having neocardina, cardina and sulawesi tank each.. Lately sulawesi have hydra bloom not sure is hydra is attacking them, alot of them die such as blue leg poso and taipa all dead.. only left some white socks. Sualwesi is real challenge and really have to be constant with the parameters...
That's a really great comment! Sorry to hear your experience. I had hydra in some of my tabks before and it's annoying to get rid of. The name of the game is stability and consistency and you're right sulawesi even more so than neo and caridina. Thanks for all the support
