You are correct, Sir. Just like rainbowfish, they are closer in nature to their saltwater cousins. I finally got my blue dreams. Tank is definitely matured, and there are no fish now. I used some protein foods and got my spike tailed MTS's to get interested.
Do you breed also Rabbit Snail from sulawesi? There's seem not alot of variant of this snail yet. Hope to see more color/variant of rabbit snail in this hobby
Nice one, never kept these shrimp before, heard they need very demanding water parameters. Interesting shrimp though. How many tanks do you have at the moment?
Hi! Greetings from Kazakhstan! Really love your videos, found a lot of new and interesting information, please keep doing! I am planning to build a new tank and try to keep these beautiful creatures, especially Caridina Dennerli (whitesocks), and, due to the really lack of information and no person to ask in whole country (even I am planning to buy them from abroad) and I have some questions: 1. 53x53x35h tank could not be a too big for 20 shrimp colony? 2. Which salt you can suggest, 7.5 or 8.5? 3. 1500 l/h canister filter is ok for them? Of course I will slow down the water flow
welcome to the wonderful world of sulawesi shrimp keeping. thanks for your kind words and support. the tank size is great and will be good. smaller tanks will make it easier for males to find the females. for white socks, you can use 7.5 or 8.5 without any issues. for harder to keep like harlequin i'd perfer to use 8.5. Canister filters are perfect, my friend uses them, i use them on my planted tanks, but with 27 shrimp tanks, i cannot afford a canister filter for each tank or i would. wishing you success, keep us posted!!
Have you ever tried to keep and breed sulawesi shrimp before? Let's discuss below
