LOL! I have the same halo strap for the MQ3. You are right @BluntyTV. It slides down due to imbalance and it does not grip the head properly. But instead of buying a new one i made a hack. I placed a 500g arm weights on the back, fixed it in place with velcro straps. It solved the slipping issue and is now balanced. I got the idea from the Bo M3 with the battery on.
I’m impressed with my Binbok battery headset, it’s very comfortable and the batteries are doing great. 2 weeks with it I haven’t had to charge the headset yet, just swap the binbok battery and go. The reviews had people say there was a buzz sound from the battery, but I haven’t experienced it…
Hey, can you find some Halo Strap like GomrVR? Last proposition ZyberVR was ok. Kiwi with battery by others is even better. But I guess the halo straps are most comfortable since you can get rid of cheeks pressure or even get rid of face cover (I constantly get skin irritation since it is dry).
I too could not obtain the BOBOVR M3 from Amazon. However, I ordered directly from BOBOVR and it was shipped immediately. Got it within 10 days or so. LOVE IT!!!!

I do enjoy your videos. I really like the way you describe things. Really entertaining. Total agree with you. I only had to wait over a month to get a BoboVR M2 to M3 conversion kit and am very happy. I do not use the batteries due to the shorter life spawn and buzzing sounds and I do use the ZyberVR and PriszmVR battery packs (both which are much better for the Quest 3). I gave up trying to get a M3 pro and I am now glad I did not get one since there is little advantage to purchase this since I had a extra BoboVR M2 Pro just sitting around (I have a BoboVR M2 plus on my Quest 2 right now). Very happy at the comfort now.
Yep I bought this one under the same circumstances, the M3 was out of stock. I did get this one for $23 because of an Amazon $10 coupon, but it still wasn't worth that! IDK maybe if you were bald the plastic foam might stick better to the back of your head, but if you have hair it just slips. Once I setup the return for this junk, I noticed the M3 was back in stock. Got it and it's a much better head strap.
I have a BoBoVR M2 with the M3 conversion kit, I love it, it is VERY comfortable, yes, some of my BoBoVR batteries do the slight buzzing sound but it doesn't seem to affect their performance or the Q3. I use headphones, so I don't hear the buzzing sound at all unless everything is absolutely quiet. I hear they made some changes to the back of the head padding of the M3, maybe that's where the complaints are coming from? As for the M2 converted to M3, I couldn't be happier with mine! :)
Sadly, I bought it a few weeks ago and you are right, it just won't stay put. I switched out the back padding with some from a Quest 2 band and it still won't stay on the back of my head... very annoying. Thanks for the review!
I have like 5 Bobo batteries and only 1 makes the buzzing noise. Love my M3 compared to the ZyberVR headstrap. But i don't like my face being squished so it's a personal preference thing.
Awesome, you got lucky with "only" 20% of your BoBo batteries being faulty for use on Quest 3. Others aren't a "lucky" as you. or, you know, consider a TWENTY PERCENT FAILURE RATE unacceptable. LOL... you've got some LOW ASS standards, but hey, so long as you're happy with your shit only working right 80% of the time. you do you champ.
Currently using my BoboVR M2 headstrap with 3D printed adapters without any problems. Have not experienced any battery buzzing or hissing, but am awaiting delivery of my M3 (it's been despatched direct from BoboVR) so I'll let you know, but do not expect any changes. Don't really understand your negativity toward BoboVR and this video could easily be misinterpreted by someone as a warning against buying a BoboVR headstrap, as a superficial glance at the thumbnail gives that impression. All in all a bit of a boring rant which served little purpose.
I would absolutely "warn" against buying a BoBoVR M3 Pro until it has been confirmed they've solved the widespread, and broadly reported battery issues. nothing wrong with that. It's VERY smart advice.

The default one is the worst, can't stand it. It does so much face pressure that it's not even comparable with the halo strap.

The VR WAVE Halo Strap is literally the exact same strap with their own logo on it...
