Definitely! Personally I wouldn't have minded if it was a little shorter and only supported up to 280mm rads, but if they went that route they'd have to leave at least 320mm to avoid fitment issues with large GPUs, so I guess they figured it might as well be 30-40mm longer and be more versatile with rad sizes

It is a short ATX case. A lot of people want mini-ITX or mATX purely because they fan fit in places where is only height limited, rather than necessarily need a very small PC in all dimensions. Being ATX means they have more versatility on Mobo choices.
The only other option then to have ATX in a compact case is the Meshify C mini and use a Dremel to let the card go through the PSU shroud and fit only and SFX-L ^^
@@Xfacta12482 I trust you, and I agree bottom intake is priceless on a GPU, but I cannot help thinking that from an airflow perspective this case would be far better with front intake instead of side intake which is very inefficient (the air is not pushed to the GPU and MoBo directly and needs a 90 degree turn...).
Great review! Love that they made a mini version, although I am not a fan of some of the design choices made like that handle and the front I/O being on the top. Not to mention that overhang when using an ATX mobo. I also prefer the case slits on the original O11 versus the small circles on this. @Rowan According to Optimum Tech's video on the case, the 360mm aio and full-size fans does physically fit, but I'm not sure if an entirely new panel is needed, or just drilling some holes.

Great review. I wish I'd seen it before I assembled mine last week! I'm running an ATX motherboard without the extension you showed, and I have a side fan that can be relocated too. Looks like I have some changes to make. One thing I'll point out to others is if you are only running M.2 storage then the vertical SSD panel and the drive cage can both be easily removed to leave more room for cable routing, which is what I did.
Dimitri, you need to put 3 140 top and bottom in a case like this to talk airflow. It's meant to be a convection orientated case. Otherwise excellent video, as always. Cases with 3 bottom fans usually offer very significant GPU temps gains. It is also an ideal case to fit in the ice giant thermosyphon. PS: Fits SFX-L.
I don't think it will do justice to this case by testing temps with only 3 fans, having AIO in top and rear fans as exhaust + side and bottom intakes fans would dramatically reduce the temps. In your older video with the dynamic you used AIO and 6 fans. I believe this case can easily give enough airflow for high end builds.
heres something most people dont say, if you use a atx motherboard, you wont be able to put 3 140mm fans on the top depending if your motherboard has a shield guard, my b450-f gaming prevented me from doing it.

So with me, I already have my own custom built PC that I've bought fans for to fill all the slots. If I were to do an upgrade to my PC, and upgrade my case, the O11 series would be perfect. I won't be paying for fans that I won't be using. I think that would be a great selling point for this case and should be more often stated for the this series of cases.
I would love to see a Mini-ITX 011 case size (smaller then this) and I would buy it in a heart beat! This mini is still a large case for a mini-itx enclosure.
helps ATX motherboard + 240 or 280mm AIO, only these you will surely able to do vertical GPU.. its support 360mm rad top, but recommended use 360mm AIO with MATX board since RAM clearance was an issue.. highly recommended use 240mm AIO to avoid any incompatible mounting with other parts welcome..
I want to transfer my girlfriends build to this. I had the original O11 and traded up to the XL version for water-cooling. Her space is a bit smaller though so I couldn't use those. But this would be perfect
Sfx is the only reason I will buy it. I need ''compact'', full graphic support, water cooling, and glass to see the beauty. Finally a beatyfull case, not hot box, more easy to transport.
This "mini" case has more gpu clearance than my meshify c. I have an rtx 3070 gaming x trio and in my meshify I have to remove the middle front fan for it to fit. Tempted to switch to this
Great review, but this case mad compromises in the wrong places. It's the same width as the non-mini, but requires an sfx psu. I firmly believe they should have further compromised cpu cooler height, and either slimmed the case down another 20-40mm, depending on atx or sfx psu. And I don't really understand why everyone seems to be pushing towards ITX for this, at that size it's atx, or matx for loads of watercooling. No need to compromise pcie expansion.
I see that the front feet which hold the lower dust filter can be removed. Can the back feet be removed? If so, you might be able to switch the feet thus the lower dust filter will point toward the back of the case
I'm looking into getting a mirco atx case.. Idk why it is a niche market. I have a full atx mobo and totally not fully utilizing all the pcie slots. Once I get my hand on the 5800x or 5900x I'll get a Mirco ATX with it. It just makes more sense
What about the full fans supported installed test? The case can populate 10 fans plus cpu cooler fans if air cooled and with that im pretty sure temps get much better than just with 3. Also comparing with other cases with just 3 fans and full supported fans installed as well would be nice.

So I’m not sure if it’s just preorders but the mini cost me only 89.99 on Newegg which just makes it all the more competitive
There is just something cute about the mini cube.
Ahhh finally. I've been waiting for this case to come out....It's my next build!
Still stoked on this case...
I too am people. First time builder and after getting my dual fan 2070, then looking at my atx case, i definitely had an "ooohhh" moment
I would love to see a Mini-ITX 011 case size (smaller then this) and I would buy it in a heart beat! This mini is still a large case for a mini-itx enclosure.
Pre-ordered today then I see this review. Well chuffed.
I don't see this as an awkwardly large ITX case. More of an SFF ATX and I love it for that
Planning on using this case for my $3000 build in the far future
Compared to the 280x is it significantly bigger ?
It's so adorable I NEEED IT. But I can't find it anywhere, not even sold out listings, was it even released to the general public?
helps
ATX motherboard + 240 or 280mm AIO, only these you will surely able to do vertical GPU..
its support 360mm rad top, but recommended use 360mm AIO with MATX board since RAM clearance was an issue..
highly recommended use 240mm AIO to avoid any incompatible mounting with other parts
welcome..
I want to transfer my girlfriends build to this. I had the original O11 and traded up to the XL version for water-cooling. Her space is a bit smaller though so I couldn't use those. But this would be perfect
Does everything except fit an atx psu
Sfx killed it for me..
Strange decision when the rest of the case is so...ATX.
Same i was ready to buy it but... I still have a little hope that they make an ATX PSU version
Sfx is the only reason I will buy it.
I need ''compact'', full graphic support, water cooling, and glass to see the beauty. Finally a beatyfull case, not hot box, more easy to transport.
@@SylNeptic You mean the O11 dynamic?
Really interesting take on this great case with some valid critique!
This "mini" case has more gpu clearance than my meshify c. I have an rtx 3070 gaming x trio and in my meshify I have to remove the middle front fan for it to fit. Tempted to switch to this
Got the o11 after your review, just air with vertical mount since it got so nice airflow. And I can put my gandam robot inn it.
If so, you might be able to switch the feet thus the lower dust filter will point toward the back of the case
will a mdtx board fit in the case?
This case is insane
Love the case like you guys. Keep doing awesome Content.
Low airflow?? Try to put 9 fans and let's see how it goes..
I really like this case but it really sucks they decided not to have atx psu support. If it had i would have gotten this case.
What’s an alternative for airflow ?
Will there be a bigger version of the O11D XL that can support 10 140mm fans?
3 side, 3 bottom, 420 rad top, 1 rear.
How the heck do you cool the hard drives? I want to put two 14TB HDs and possibly use it as small file server 24/7.
I’m so excited for it. Idk if I should get the white or black one
Very nice video, but I would have liked a more direct (size) comparison with the non-mini version of this case
Can you still populate the top with fans if you're running an atx build?
So it can accommodate a full ATX motherboard but not power suppl??
I NEED IT BUT WHERE DO I BUY ITT?!!?
I thought I saw Chris Pratt and spacy colours. Is this the set of the new Guardians of the Galaxy movie? 😉
Great review! Keep up the good work! 👍
