Man, I'm a huge UK fan but Auburn really has played amazing in the tournament. Was freaking out near the end of regulation. Kentucky looked defeated before OT started.

Agreed definitely - I'm a KU fan, but I put auburn in my Final Four. The SEC has been so much more fun the past few years with Tennessee building back up, Auburn becoming consistent.

We bleed Kentucky blue in my hometown so this was definitely a bitter end. Congratulations to Auburn though... Those boys are playing like they want it more than anyone and deserve to be where they are. So to Auburn, good job and good luck.
As a Tech student I would love to see Auburn’s and Texas tech play in the national championship for the first time in both schools’ history! I wouldn’t even be mad if Auburn beat us in a good game because that would be their first win and not to some blue blood school that goes every year! Congrats Auburn! Wreck em’

Auburn was very fortunate to win. Auburn was in foul trouble, down a man, not shooting well... But they hung in there, Kentucky missed a lot of shots down the stretch, and Bryce Brown and Harper finally got going.
Kentucky missed those shots because Auburn was putting extensive pressure on them. They had the perimeter locked down. PJ. Washington was being doubled but still got his. Difference in the game was Bryce Brown and Jared Harper. They took over and control of the game in the second half and OT
Auburn outplayed Kentucky convincingly down the stretch. Cal incredibly left Herro on the Auburn pg who just torched him down the stretch. Layup after layup with no thought of switching Herro off him. Coaching clinic that was like a Peacock forecast

Congrats to Auburn on reaching their first Final Four in school history! I hope they represent the SEC well in Minneapolis. We had our shot to win with under 20 seconds to go at the end of regulation with a wide open Herro or Hagans around the perimeter who could have got a good look for us. But Auburn played fantastic defense down the stretch and won the game with their toughness. Best of luck to them the rest of the way, from a diehard Kentucky fan!!!

Auburn is playing extremely well, but I think the way Kentucky played in this match-up... they looked lethargic in the end. Just my opinion. It looked like Kentucky didn't have an answer for Auburns' fast paced offense.

I live in Durham, NC and hate 1 and done programs like Duke and Kentucky. Always happy when either school comes up short in the NCAA tournament. Having said that, I have great respect for Coach K and John Calipari. Both are great coaches. Krzyzewski’s 5 National Championships are the most by any Coach not named a John Wooden.
Of course, I am speaking of men’s college basketball only
Both of those coaches have publicly criticized the NCAA about the one and done rule because they feel that their players are being pressured from getting an education and figuring out if they really want a career out of basketball with all these NBA teams flashing big $$$. I think it has been a very corrupt system for a long time.

Congrats. They have been the hottest team the past 11 games and make that 12 now. I believe that 80-53 loss to UK was the beat, most humbling experience to happen. What has been done since is shocking a lot of people. But not many of us other fans in the SEC. We know they can play. Good luck and make Charles Barkley proud!

One of the better NCCA tournaments that I can recall. Any of the 4 teams left can win it imo. In fact, I think all time these 4 teams are some of the most closely matched (ever).
I'm an Auburn fan, but I really don't think that they will have any problems with Virginia. Auburn only struggles against big teams, and even at that they just beat one of the best big teams in the country. Auburn is playing out of their minds right now.

All credit to Auburn for a great win. UK fan here. Not taking anything away from Auburn but man UK's free throws did it to them again this year. I know Washington declared and is projected as #15 overall for the draft. I think Herro and Johnson could probably both play at the next level but neither would get any significant minutes next year. They would both benefit greatly from another year in college. As for Hagans if he declares he needs to have his head checked. I do hope someone gives Travis a chance. That money has to be extremely tempting. You've got players that are projected to be late 2nd round picks declaring now. To each their own, but I just hate to see talent wasted when they go early and are never heard from again.

Congrats to the Auburn Tigers, they've beaten some legendary programs to get to the Final Four. That Harper is a blur with the ball, so fast and with quick moves (reminds me a little of Calvin Murphy back in the day). I don't know what Auburn's #2 was complaining about at the end of reg., there was no time for that guy to pass the ball
the game didn't have to go into OT, all Auburn needed was an Alley-oop, instead of trying for a long range 3.

Auburn knew when to play more interior defense and not pay that much attention to some of Kentucky's suspect 3 point shooters. They played excellent defense on Hero and Washington, Kentucky's main threats. That's good coaching.
