Auburn was very fortunate to win. Auburn was in foul trouble, down a man, not shooting well... But they hung in there, Kentucky missed a lot of shots down the stretch, and Bryce Brown and Harper finally got going.

We had our shot to win with under 20 seconds to go at the end of regulation with a wide open Herro or Hagans around the perimeter who could have got a good look for us. I live in Durham, NC and hate 1 and done programs like Duke and Kentucky. Always happy when either school comes up short in the NCAA tournament. Having said that, I have great respect for Coach K and John Calipari. Both are great coaches. Krzyzewski’s 5 National Championships are the most by any Coach not named a John Wooden. Of course, I am speaking of men’s college basketball only
Both of those coaches have publicly criticized the NCAA about the one and done rule because they feel that their players are being pressured from getting an education and figuring out if they really want a career out of basketball with all these NBA teams flashing big $$$. I think it has been a very corrupt system for a long time.

I'm an Auburn fan, but I really don't think that they will have any problems with Virginia. Auburn only struggles against big teams, and even at that they just beat one of the best big teams in the country. Auburn is playing out of their minds right now.

Auburn knew when to play more interior defense and not pay that much attention to some of Kentucky's suspect 3 point shooters. They played excellent defense on Hero and Washington, Kentucky's main threats. That's good coaching.
Congrats to the Auburn Tigers, they've beaten some legendary programs to get to the Final Four. That Harper is a blur with the ball, so fast and with quick moves (reminds me a little of Calvin Murphy back in the day). I don't know what Auburn's #2 was complaining about at the end of reg., there was no time for that guy to pass the ball

Auburn knew when to play more interior defense and not pay that much attention to some of Kentucky's suspect 3 point shooters. They played excellent defense on Hero and Washington, Kentucky's main threats. That's good coaching.
This UK team was so good, I think they could have won it all if they got past this game. Sad.
Virginia would have been a bad matchup though.

Congrats to the Auburn Tigers, they've beaten some legendary programs to get to the Final Four. That Harper is a blur with the ball, so fast and with quick moves (reminds me a little of Calvin Murphy back in the day). I don't know what Auburn's #2 was complaining about at the end of reg., there was no time for that guy to pass the ball
I saw this and was like wow! The Auburn 🐯 played a little better defensively but Kentucky still had a chance till the very end. 👏👏👏
im a UNC fan but gotta say auburn been ballin congrats....uva doesn't have the offense to keep up but they can slow the game down will be an interesting clash of styles...
