I go to MSU and when we won you could hear the entire campus celebrate, and then everybody from the bars came in and celebrated with the people in the dorms, it still gives me chills.
Bro I was in the dorms at McDonell Hall. After the clock hit zero, I remember hearing the loudest roar I’ve ever seen from outside. Of course I got to witness the pandemonium at cedar village haha

honestly... right as we were getting hot, they cancelled the tourney. MSU was the big tens best shot to win a title this year, and it wouldve been such a great story, overcoming everything with cassius and joshua, but at least cassius went out a big ten champ and will always be a spartan legend
I strongly agree, we were supposed to have a repeat of the final 4 this year if the tourney didn’t get cancelled. This upcoming season Watts and Brown could potentially carry us to a national title
Guess what...It took us 21 more years to win a championship after 1979, and we're heading into the 2020-2021 season, therefore we definitely have a shot! Also, the NUMBER 1 PLAYER IN THE COUNTRY is committing to MSU in at least 2021!

ONE OF THE MOST MEMORABLE MOMENTS IN MY COLLEGE CAREER! I study music at MSU and tonight I had a choir concert starting at 7:00. I thought we were going to miss the last couple seconds of the game. The whole choir was back stage getting ready to walk on stage, phones in hand, live streaming the last bit of the game when we saw Cassius receive the ball, running the clock down, and giving us the victory over Duke. As we walked on stage the whole audience erupted into applause and the choir began singing our fight song. There was such an immeasurable amount of unity and excitement throughout the Auditorium. I'll cherish that memory for the rest of my life. GO GREEN!!!💚

MSU players appeared to be more blue collar type players. Talent wise, MSU can't compete with Duke on all out recruiting. But those 3 star talented players may go further in the NBA than 5 star talent players based on acquired skills and experience obtained on the college level.

Talent can only produce if it comes together chemistry-wise and I believe the problem from this group is Cam Reddish and his now well- known lack of commitment to his teammates (concocted BS knee injury)! U can be great but only as one unit! That coupled with inept team defense for the fourth straight NCAA tournament are why Duke is firmly sitting at home! K needs to in the off-season reestablish Duke's old school approach on the defensive end! It's been sorely lacking with these offensive minded honing one and dones! U hafta bring it defensively also

MSU played fearless. Their Big Men played strong all night. Winston stayed in attack mode. RJ from duked choked under pressure, and should have passed at some moments. Zion did well but had Big Men to fight with on MSU.

Last year, Virginia lost to a number 16; this year, Virginia is the ONLY remaining number one seed. How's THAT for irony?
True. But Virginia was fortunate to have escaped vs. Purdue.
Yea, and if you take away Edwards banked in three with a minute to play UVA wins in regulation (I didn't hear him call "glass"). Both UVA and Purdue caught breaks at the end of regulation but it was UVA that won the game. And Dook was lucky to even get to the Sweet 16 let alone the round of eight. So what - Virginia is in the Final Four and Dook is sitting at home where they belong.

Usually the team that wins the National Championship has at least 4 players who average at least 10 points or more in the regular season. Out of all the teams that fit that description in the Tournament this year, MSU easily had the toughest schedule during the season. They have been my pick to win it all since the tournament started. Glad they didn't let me down tonight.
i just can't count out Izzo this time of year no matter their seeding. guy is a monster and puts on coaching clinics in the tourney
Actually UNC had the toughest schedule out of everybody but for sure Michigan state had a tough schedule. Crazy that they won their conference champ and are in final four while being depleted pretty much all season

@@SpartanNick in all honesty I never got why Zion was and is so praised I think he is good and one of the better prospects to come out of college in the last couple of years but why are people selling him as the next face of the league. Zion is solid and I think his biggest positive is that he can defend which many college players can't but offensively why are people acting like he can bully people in the nba the same way the one game he faced a decent rim protector Zion struggled what makes anyone think he can dominate in the paint in the NBA with many good rim protector and he can't shoot so you would draft him to rely off of what exactly. Zion has a ton of potential but to go number one over a couple of players who are probably a bit more polished seems a little insane
nba team? If u put any euroleague team they will win this easily! Euroleague teams rosters are made of best european players, americans former nba players, and great college player that didnt make it in NBA! Trust me, any euroleague team can beat ncaa div 1 champion at least 8 out of 10 times. Euroleague winner can play vs some NBA teams, but not all obviosly..
