Rather raise and produce a hard paint attacker than a full blood shooter. you live by the 3 you die by the 3. he has a decent mid range but he knows his role and thats why their winning. Monk and Fox continue to give it to the hot hand until it is time for them to take over. March Madness is all about leadership and confidence I loved when I Monk and Fox shooting the ball it showed that they were confident and tough minded to stick to their game.

Put Ball & Fox on the floor against each other 10 times a week and Fox will use Ball like an old dish rag 7 or 8 times out the 10 weekly. Why you ask? Because playing defense is completely a foreign concept to Lonzo Ball, and De'Aaron Fox has the kind of quickness in his game that Ball couldn't deal with even if he learned to play defense.

Just because UCLA lost it does not make Lonzo Ball any less of a great player. +ibn faqir Many players scored a lot in college but failed in the NBA because of tougher defence, an example can be buddy hield. Lonzo has a point guard mindset, he may not have shot well in this game but I believe he can develop into a more all around player than fox.

Don't know why Eva Lonzoria's fans are blaming Lavar. If Lavar had not said a word or gone on TV, Fox would have still handled Lonzoria anyway. He's a better prospect and talent. His 39 pts are so overhyped as it relates to Lonzo...he didn't drop all of it on lonzo. As a matter of fact Lonzo probably scored just as much on him as he did on lonzo. I like Fox but if I had to pick a team I'm picking lonzo first...lets see who will pan out..I hope they both do
Fox was & still is such a special player. Has insane speed. Great offensively & defensively.

Fox had a great game, but as a Bruins fan, this game was incredibly frustrating. Most of Fox's points came off of pretty soft ball-screen defense. It looked like the bigs never called out screen for Ball or whoever was guarding Fox, and they never hedged because they figured he wouldn't shoot the three. This allowed him to come off screen with plenty of space, cross up the big, and get into the paint for a floater or jumper. Sure, part of it was that helping off would allow a great shooter like Monk, 6: 44, to be open for a second, or Willis when Leaf had to help off on the rolling big man, 7:30, but I feel like adjustments could have been made. Great game though from Kentucky, sad loss for Bruins.
For example, at 2:22, Anigbogu should have been screaming screen and ran up with Bam to immediately hedge Fox at the top of the key and push him wide allowing for Holiday to switch back in time. Instead, he allowed him to go downhill and gain enough speed to easily cross him up and hit an open floater in key.

he might prove to be an ultra talented player, but he looked like a really lazy player to me. He gave up on plays early, picked a spot and basically just stood there, and when he did have the ball after he passed it he became a spectator, watching instead of playing.
Every ball fan is saying it's only one bad game but that's not the problem. He just got outplayed in every sense. He took possessions off when his team needed him to take over. So what he can pass.....passing won't win you games if you can't be a scoring threat. Greats don't depend on their teammates, Lonzo needs to work on creating a shot for himself. Because shooting deep threes and occasionally getting a driving layup aren't reliable ways to score.
in my basis opinion, lonzo didn't do bad n of course he couldve done a whole lot better too..Lavar Ball piped up his son in a stratgetic way so that if all else fails you all will blame pops for everything. lonzo will be fine in the league but he definitely has to atleast get ROY or sumthin close too it
