You say stop the feed ,change the speed to" slower" to get around a radius. Can you not just stop at a radius and bump the foot pedal to get around it at a slower speed?

Foot pedal needs a forward and reverse
I just do not understand why you did not make the foot pedal variable?
Probably a safety thing/ the whole set up is $350. The pedal is cheap plastic with a spring most click pens would be ashamed of.

If the foot pedal had a speed feature, press harder to go faster, would be better than stopping and starting, but a nice upgrade to hand cranking.
