Shout out to Matt @IronTrapGarage. This old video is still helping folks. I bought that set of dies when I purchased my Eastwool bead roller and am going to be using the round tipping die for the first time on a floorboard patch. Now I'm glad I bought them when I did.
Also just received Eastwood’s dimple die set for floorboard mountain bolts on a 66 Ford F-350 plus a new Shrinker stretcher, whenever the company I work for needs tool I have them go to Eastwood. Mainly because I follow your website. Iron Trap Garage.
I have one of these bead rollers at work, and the complete die kit. My biggest complaint is, the foot pedal must have been made for small feet, not a size 11 and steel toe boot at that. The pedal is all over the floor and my foot barely catches the edge of the pedal. But I deal with it LOL
Nice video Matt. I have the 8" manual bead roller with the forming die set. You've given me some great ideas to forming replacement panels to replace some rusted panels on our minivan.
Nice product demo. I also want to note the price of these are a very respectable price. You'll be getting a order from me here someday in the not so distant future.
Hey. nice video. question is there dies to form the profiles to the load bed to a VW T3 Single Cab year 1982. I can`t order the original parts for my car. I've seen some dies on the channel from Bad Chad, where he is forming the floor panel to a Buick with the same profile as I need. .Greetings:HCS
I don't think so. I believe it's just because Matt is going quickly enough to get something to demonstrate and carry on to the next set of dies to show. I don't have Eastwood's dies and I can make this happen if I rush or don't plan. Also... pre-stretching with an English Wheel helps with less deformation of the metal. If you don't know what I mean take a few minutes searching the net for "pre-stretch metal with english wheel before bead rolling" .

A bead roller is a must in a shop !
Couldn't agree more!

Great demo!!!!! Eastwood makes great tools at a affordable price.
Thanks Matt!
Great presentation, Matt. Only thing missing was a straight on profile (end) view of shapes.
Good call! Next Time!
Great demo! Gave me a bunch of ideas on what to try.
Glad it was helpful!
Excellent explanation & examples. Thank you.
You are welcome!
Nice demo Matt!

Are those 3/4” to 22mm shaft sleeves?
Brilliant he’s so good and so well explained love him he’s cool larrysullivan in London x
That stone wall is awesome
His garage is AWESOME!
Thank you, so informative!
Were can I get the full dimensions
Why not put the forming die kit in a plastic case instead of a cardboard box?
I’m noticing the end of the runs seem to go crooked. Is this a fault of the roller with certain dies ?

Great tech tips👍👍🇨🇱
How much that machine?
What is the inside diameter for the sleeves?
how wide are the dies. 2 1/2 or 3"
all the specs for the dies are available here: www.eastwood.com/eastwood-motorized-bead-roller-forming-dies.html
Surprised to see Matt..
I went joggling with a grub screw once.
......я согласен со многим о чём идёт речь в видео , но можно ли не закрывать инструмент заготовкой металла ...... а так всё супер .
Me encantaría que sea traducido al español
Harbor freight got good one too good price
Oh Boy, a new word (for me)! Joggle.
Joggle joggle
Eastwood needs to stay with hammers and other hand tools. The more complicated the tooling the dumber you get
Praise for Matcheen cont no
My hole life in construction never ever grub screw ! Set Screw . What are you a communist or something?🤔😁
Please stop saying basically
How about literally, can he just change the word up a bit?
