    How does she not realize that she absolutely doesn't need a man like herself.
    Men have realized for thousands of years that if they make a fortune, then we need a woman who has the time and space to focus on the family.
    This complimentarity is powerful. She's wealthy in capital but very poor in time, family focus and caring skills.
    She should have found a high school teacher who coaches kids sports and have many children.

      Ms. Williams and her perpetually single sisters are single on PURPOSE not by accident or happenstance.
      Inexplicably domestic black women understand what they must do to be "competitive" options for successful mature men of other ethnicities.
      But refuse to recognize black men of similar socioeconomic status have the SAME REQUIREMENTS.

      You’re missing the point… all your points add up to the point. She would require a partner at least equal who can make her feel safe to lean back. Because we’re still working through the generations programmed to believe in a woman adding up to chattel for the man and his home, she requires her equal in thought *and* evolution so that he won’t feel the impulse (and compulsion) to crush her for his own egoic comfort. It’s not that other man’s fault, he was simply programmed this way. It doesn’t make him less, but it does make him a future dinosaur. Responsibility and accountability is to change and evolve oneself, however. It might not be your fault old school men (and women), but growth only hurts in the sprouts. Also, she’s saying what she would require in a partner, if it’s not you then it’s also ok to kindly keep it pushing.

      @@progressiveGal73 It's funny that you say people don't get it. I think you have it wrong. If her and your train of thought was right and successful it would pay off. She would have no trouble finding someone. Her and many like her will only pass on their genes with great effort through medical intervention because what they want doesn't exist in nature. You have the right to feel and believe but the fact that this conversation is so prevalent is proof that something doesn't work with what is currently going on. The echo chamber allows people to feel impowered verses facing the fact that what they want doesn't work. If it did, they would have fond their person. People do get married and have kids and have happy successful families and relationships. But they don't. Somehow people convince themselves their right about the thing they don't have.

    Hello, this came upon my feed. I am a Girl Dad of four adult daughters 35, 29, 26 & 23 and they're all amazing women, I am grateful that God blessed me with all daughters because I am a better man, father and human being because of my daughters.
    Eboni K. Williams is difficult, I have watched so many of her videos, and she is just a difficult human being to get along with. At 40yrs old, I don't understand her energy.
    No man, regardless of his color of skin or religious beliefs, can help Eboni K. Williams become better because she is comfortable and set in her ways, and that's okay.
    A good man of Character, Integrity and Consistency will never tolerate or meet her combative energy. Eboni K. Williams doesn't want to be told anything because she knows everything, and a good man isn't willing to meet her because our Peace of Mind is essential!!!
    When she stated she didn't see her father as Consistency it explains to me as a father of adult daughters why she sees life through the lense in which she sees life.
    In my opinion, Eboni K. Williams missed her blessing of marriage a long time ago, time waits for no one. Human Beings can choose to be alone, but Loneliness is not a choice!!!
    I have learned a lot in my 58yrs of living, I am a very humble human being because my children have taught me Selflessness and at my age, I have no time or patience for raising more children unless they are my grandchildren!!!
    Life is too short for all this foolishness and nonsense. Men aren't stupid we know when we are being talked down too by women, and no man will tolerate a condescending woman!!!

    Whew a lot to unpack with Ebony. Iyanla never made the statement that "a man will save you", because she asked about finding a mate. Iyanla suggested that she relax her picky ness and asked her if she would "date a bus driver". Of course, she mentally calculates what he can or cannot do for her and states that "he would have to own the bus company". Mind you the conversation has already gone over Eboni's head, because she is talking about what he can do financially and Iyanla is speaking in terms of cultivating a relationship with a man that possibly have the same interest and values. But, of course Eboni has attached stipulations that have nothing to do with "building" a relationship. Now she outside choosing door #1; single motherhood. 🤷🏽‍♀

    Toure is too soft & weak-minded to tell Eboni what she needs to hear. He didn't help her at all. he just cosigned her foolishness. He was looking to kiss her ass & tell her she did nothing wrong. This woman is trying to figure out how to land the kind of man she wants. She's not interested in hearing that there was nothing wrong with her process. That would mean there's nothing she can do & that she'll never get the kind of man she wants. I'm married, but I'm the kind of man she's looking for, but I would never do anything with her because she's too damn manly & too damn masculine & is too damn into stuff & money. Money is a tool, not a status symbol. This is why you shouldn't flex your money as a woman because he will either tell you to kick rocks or try to swindle you out of that money you're bragging about. Eboni looked like a total babe when she was younger. Now she looks & sounds hard. She purposely deepened her voice to sound tough. She's the man she wants to be. No Masculine man is gonna say he's equal to her regardless of how much money & stuff she has. She thinks her money & stuff makes her the person in charge. If you can't defend yourself in a fist fight against a man, then you can't be in charge. You have to be able to take instructions & directions from a man to stay safe & protected & not feel like he's bossing you around. She & most women today are too damn reckless with their words & tone towards other people to stay safe & be protected. Men aren't guard dogs & ATMs.

I highly doubt she'll never be around blue-collar dudes in her daily life, so it doesn't matter what she thinks of them. If they aren't in TV, law, or medicine, or maybe politicians, she's not gonna be there. At 27:10, Toure poses the classic question: 'What do you bring to the table?' The response perfectly encapsulates why a woman of her intellect and beauty is single and pursuing IVF solo. Her assertiveness, which she considers a strength, is actually a deterrent for men at her level. As Iyanla points out, this mindset is “out of order.” Being pushy doesn’t equate to being a help meet.

      Eboni’s take on things implies that she wouldn’t even date a researcher with a PhD who makes like 70k a year (if even that) because despite having an education, he doesn’t make the money. She’s reached a level of success that most of the men she’s looking for are a super small percent of the population of men and those men have no problem themselves with “dating down”.
      A male doctor would date a nurse, but not many female doctors would date a male nurse….

    Wanted a Mansion More Than a Marriage....
    With all due respect, I am directly and personally acquainted with several single black men who "check all the boxes" and then some Ms. Williams and other "strong and independent" black women have.
    We didn't arrive on planet Earth from another universe/dimension and I'm fairly certain Ms. Williams has heard /known/ met one of us over the past two decades.
    So the questions are; why is she and other black women like her perpetual single? And next, what are the possiblities this demographic of black women could connect with one of the men they SAY they want?
    First, if Ms Williams had made being a wife to a black man in the rarified top 5% she certainly could have. But she and her sisters missed their window of opportunity because their focus was NOT on marriage. They wanted to get a mansion much more than a marriage.
    Second, at present Ms. Williams and her sisters would rather attribute their self imposed perpetual singlehood on relevant but CORRECTABLE issues.
    Domestic black women can't find us because they refuse to take off their blinders, make the committment and most important play the game of mating/dating to WIN.
    Admittedly men, particularly men of color who are financially capable of the lifestyle Ms. Williams references exist, but she must learn WHERE to look, focus on a "target"and this is most important do WHATEVER IT TAKES to close escrow.

    • @DrAlexanderHamilton
      @DrAlexanderHamilton 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      a "white presenting Jew" is a Jewish person who passes as white. Rabbi Gil Steinlauf has been very vocal about this in his declaration that "JEWS ARE NOT WHITE, but simply Jewish." Ashkenazi and Sephardic Jews in America often changed their names in an attempt to pass as white. Because of most Americans inability to see outside of the binary illusion of race, they lazily classified Jewish people as white when Europe did NOT. For survival purposes, Jewish people simply blended in b/c they comprehended just how anti-Semitic America's history is. Eboni astutely points this out. For more on this topic, google Rabbi Steinlauf's WaPost article entitled:
      "Jews struggled for decades to become white. Now we must give up white privilege to fight racism: Let's teach our children that we are, in fact, not white, but simply Jewish."

    • @Powerincarnate.
      @Powerincarnate. 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Why? She made her choices, She was married already and wrecked her marriage and left. She also was Engaged already and also chose to leave. Life is about choices and tradeoffs. Listen to her speak. That pitbull in a skirt like attitude that makes her a successful lawyer/business person has tradeoffs.
      She had lots of opportunity. She was in college and in Law School. Lots of potential mates that she let pass by. She is also a famous person, with a show, is on the internet and TV, and has access to many persons in high places...Why don't she attract one of them?
      Which brings back to what I said. Life is about choices and tradeoffs. She said she wants to meet a man who can clearly keep up with her lifestyle, one who is a leader and can take over the room. One who SHE will make the best version of themselves, and so forth. So then then next question is cool, What does THAT man want in a woman? Does THAT man want a woman Leading him to be the best version of himself, Does that man want someone who may not be able to have children at this point, and does THAT man want such a loud, aggressive, and quite frankly masculine woman. Once you look at it form the other side, you see why she is where she is.
