How does she not realize that she absolutely doesn't need a man like herself. Men have realized for thousands of years that if they make a fortune, then we need a woman who has the time and space to focus on the family. This complimentarity is powerful. She's wealthy in capital but very poor in time, family focus and caring skills. She should have found a high school teacher who coaches kids sports and have many children.
Ms. Williams and her perpetually single sisters are single on PURPOSE not by accident or happenstance. Inexplicably domestic black women understand what they must do to be "competitive" options for successful mature men of other ethnicities. But refuse to recognize black men of similar socioeconomic status have the SAME REQUIREMENTS.
You’re missing the point… all your points add up to the point. She would require a partner at least equal who can make her feel safe to lean back. Because we’re still working through the generations programmed to believe in a woman adding up to chattel for the man and his home, she requires her equal in thought *and* evolution so that he won’t feel the impulse (and compulsion) to crush her for his own egoic comfort. It’s not that other man’s fault, he was simply programmed this way. It doesn’t make him less, but it does make him a future dinosaur. Responsibility and accountability is to change and evolve oneself, however. It might not be your fault old school men (and women), but growth only hurts in the sprouts. Also, she’s saying what she would require in a partner, if it’s not you then it’s also ok to kindly keep it pushing.
@@progressiveGal73 It's funny that you say people don't get it. I think you have it wrong. If her and your train of thought was right and successful it would pay off. She would have no trouble finding someone. Her and many like her will only pass on their genes with great effort through medical intervention because what they want doesn't exist in nature. You have the right to feel and believe but the fact that this conversation is so prevalent is proof that something doesn't work with what is currently going on. The echo chamber allows people to feel impowered verses facing the fact that what they want doesn't work. If it did, they would have fond their person. People do get married and have kids and have happy successful families and relationships. But they don't. Somehow people convince themselves their right about the thing they don't have.
Hello, this came upon my feed. I am a Girl Dad of four adult daughters 35, 29, 26 & 23 and they're all amazing women, I am grateful that God blessed me with all daughters because I am a better man, father and human being because of my daughters. Eboni K. Williams is difficult, I have watched so many of her videos, and she is just a difficult human being to get along with. At 40yrs old, I don't understand her energy. No man, regardless of his color of skin or religious beliefs, can help Eboni K. Williams become better because she is comfortable and set in her ways, and that's okay. A good man of Character, Integrity and Consistency will never tolerate or meet her combative energy. Eboni K. Williams doesn't want to be told anything because she knows everything, and a good man isn't willing to meet her because our Peace of Mind is essential!!! When she stated she didn't see her father as Consistency it explains to me as a father of adult daughters why she sees life through the lense in which she sees life. In my opinion, Eboni K. Williams missed her blessing of marriage a long time ago, time waits for no one. Human Beings can choose to be alone, but Loneliness is not a choice!!! I have learned a lot in my 58yrs of living, I am a very humble human being because my children have taught me Selflessness and at my age, I have no time or patience for raising more children unless they are my grandchildren!!! Life is too short for all this foolishness and nonsense. Men aren't stupid we know when we are being talked down too by women, and no man will tolerate a condescending woman!!!
18:03 The fact that she flows in so many different circles should mean she has access to so many more men in her dating pool. She’s 40, unmarried, and childless, while wanting to be married with children. Clearly her criteria for what she’s requesting in a man is off-kilter in some facet.
Really enjoyed this interview. Didn’t know anything about her but as a man I respect her strength and conviction. “Would not play small. Would not be a sidekick…” is a gem.
I'm late to the party. Love this interview format. I grew up on Toure' interviews on MTV. This reminded me how much he has crafted this art of interviewing and empowering the art of storytelling.
No other race demonizes women who want a man with ambition. Ambition doesn’t mean “better” it’s a personality trait. Similar to some men are extroverted and others can be introverted - neither are bad they’re just different.
Even if the bus driver is ambitious and wants to own his own business one day.....this old hag will reject him. She doesn't care for ambition and just wants a rich guy.
@Msdon833, lol, what are you talking about? White men laugh at 40 year old white women who feel entitled to high-value men (i.e., like when Eboni said she wanted a man who owns the bus company). Asian men are even harsher toward older women than both black AND white men.
At 27:10, Toure poses the classic question: 'What do you bring to the table?' The response perfectly encapsulates why a woman of her intellect and beauty is single and pursuing IVF solo. Her assertiveness, which she considers a strength, is actually a deterrent for men at her level. As Iyanla points out, this mindset is “out of order.” Being pushy doesn’t equate to being a help meet.
Toure is too soft & weak-minded to tell Eboni what she needs to hear. He didn't help her at all. he just cosigned her foolishness. He was looking to kiss her ass & tell her she did nothing wrong. This woman is trying to figure out how to land the kind of man she wants. She's not interested in hearing that there was nothing wrong with her process. That would mean there's nothing she can do & that she'll never get the kind of man she wants. I'm married, but I'm the kind of man she's looking for, but I would never do anything with her because she's too damn manly & too damn masculine & is too damn into stuff & money. Money is a tool, not a status symbol. This is why you shouldn't flex your money as a woman because he will either tell you to kick rocks or try to swindle you out of that money you're bragging about. Eboni looked like a total babe when she was younger. Now she looks & sounds hard. She purposely deepened her voice to sound tough. She's the man she wants to be. No Masculine man is gonna say he's equal to her regardless of how much money & stuff she has. She thinks her money & stuff makes her the person in charge. If you can't defend yourself in a fist fight against a man, then you can't be in charge. You have to be able to take instructions & directions from a man to stay safe & protected & not feel like he's bossing you around. She & most women today are too damn reckless with their words & tone towards other people to stay safe & be protected. Men aren't guard dogs & ATMs.
@ChrisJones-rm7uu She's not smart. She doesn't care about what men want from women. She's not gonna do any of that for a blue or white collar guy. I highly doubt she'll never be around blue-collar dudes in her daily life, so it doesn't matter what she thinks of them. If they aren't in TV, law, or medicine, or maybe politicians, she's not gonna be there. She loves college, but she will never date a scientist or college professor either because most of them aren't rich.
Whew a lot to unpack with Ebony. Iyanla never made the statement that "a man will save you", because she asked about finding a mate. Iyanla suggested that she relax her picky ness and asked her if she would "date a bus driver". Of course, she mentally calculates what he can or cannot do for her and states that "he would have to own the bus company". Mind you the conversation has already gone over Eboni's head, because she is talking about what he can do financially and Iyanla is speaking in terms of cultivating a relationship with a man that possibly have the same interest and values. But, of course Eboni has attached stipulations that have nothing to do with "building" a relationship. Now she outside choosing door #1; single motherhood. 🤷🏽♀
Brothas, when our women say to us a form of assault has happened to them, please take a moment to express concern for that event and make sure they're okay. We are really mishandling those situations. Don't stay in that place and make it weird, but don't ignore it either.
Coddled her?! The fact that you took that away from this intelligent conversation where they sparred intellectually and discussed a wide array of issues from ivf to politics, gun rights, beauty as advocacy etc, reflects a lack of comprehension on your part.
@@ayeeshahm9078you can’t banter with these individuals… most aren’t even on this level to comprehend what’s being said.. they’re more than likely the men she speaks of that can’t compete or even MEET her where she’s at. So of course, they’re going to have a negative connotation from this conversation. Low vibrational at its best… 😊 Keep thriving sis 💪🏽
@@ninagrace-lee8323, she's also 40. Which makes her low-value to rich men. Unless she wants a man who's 60+ years old. Despite what Sex and the City tells, women, wealthy men in their 40s aren't lining up to date 40 year old women. That's why Eboni's only option (prior to becoming a baby mama) was to date a man who was already a single father.
Geaux, Eboni! I’m ALWAYS proud of you you because you’re being yourself in a world that doesn’t appreciate that attribute. #istanebonikwilliams #ebonikwilliams
@@ChrisJones-rm7uuAnd theyve priced themselves right tf out of the market. 😂 They see a man as nothing more than his paycheck and want the world to feel sorry that theres not enough rich executives for them. Awww boo hoo.😢
I really enjoyed this conversation. So much to unpack from this. It’s definitely mind blowing how the world has so much input on Black Women’s lifestyle and preferences and this is not an issue with other demographics of people.
Maybe it's because sistas are so disturbingly open about putting our dysfunction out there for the entire the world to consume. From Oprah in the 80's all the way to using TikTok as a diary ..there's no shortage of BW putting their business out there for everyone to see including how men need to be in the context of dating & relationships.
@@PFlaw317 exactly. If anything the #ados black community is a petri dish to observe what happens when its people fall prey to spiritual corruption like in end-stage Babylon. And the Jezebel behavior is fully embraced.
Uh yeah. It’s real for HER because she knows the value of a dollar - that’s how she earned millions Most people think they are richer than they actually are. Reality check - if you have less than half a million in the bank you are NOT middle class. Middle class is comfort and working paycheck to paycheck is poverty bro
Also, my fellow men. It's okay not to have access to all the women. It's okay not to be for everybody because everybody is not for you. We get so butt hurt when we don't fit in a woman's list of standards and that's crazy.
We (men) are constantly told of our limitations and are therefore more accustomed to criticism. Watch how men reacted to Kevin Samuel's criticism vs. how women reacted to Kevin Samuel's criticism. Men were generally MUCH more accepting/respectful than women were. So, stop being a simp.
Just listening to what they actually said, I like her and agree with most of it. I see where she’s coming from. She’s not putting anyone down. She’s just very clear about who she is. Eg she is very accomplished and knows it. She also knows there are thousands like her, not a unicorn. She is beautiful in a certain way. If she can minimize it without sacrificing any core values, then she can also use it for advocacy. Don’t we all use what’s in our tool box? Never heard of her before today but she’s interesting. And Happy Founders Day, Soror.
people are offended because they find themselves on what she is saying. She is describing them and like she said a hit dog gone holla and mad men on here hollin....LOUDLY
Loved the interview! Eboni's insights were truly eye-opening. I stand with her and share her perspectives. Congrats to her on the journey to motherhood. #livinglifeonherterms
This woman is like a chameleon never know when she is telling the truth or not. On one interview the men were the problems , we don't need men, then all of a sudden all what men's have been saying for decades were right .. Funny These women thinks they can decides what men's wants and what and who men's would be willing to marry or not. They forgot that we created this world, this system , the educations they are always bragging about and the standards to follow..
I offered my condolences to her unborn, who won’t have the experience of being raised with its father, in a two-parent household, because the mother never learned how to keep a man.. with the millions of men in this world
These same women who are always complaining about men not working hard enough, not being ambitious enough, or just working one job instead of 2,3, then would be complaining about not spending ir having enough time for them..
@@openmindchannel1978this is how life works. You have to juggle both. Women do it all the time. Not everything in life is easy. Talk with any couple with children who are both professionals.
I just hate this narrative that successful black couples are essentially alien beings. My frat just had a successful fundraiser and it was filled with beautiful married black couples across all ages. Even one of the gay men in my chapter is married - to an equally successful black man. So the issue is she may be the common denominator and can't or won't admit it. Ebony may be 40 but there are folks in their 60s and 70s getting married or remarried. She has a bigger part to play in where she is than she thinks she does.
Black women embraced this single culture starting in the 1960s & 1970s so of course this situation like we see with Eboni K. Williams is the end result. This is the endgame for the #ados black community. The decline before the final downfall.
Wanted a Mansion More Than a Marriage.... With all due respect, I am directly and personally acquainted with several single black men who "check all the boxes" and then some Ms. Williams and other "strong and independent" black women have. We didn't arrive on planet Earth from another universe/dimension and I'm fairly certain Ms. Williams has heard /known/ met one of us over the past two decades. So the questions are; why is she and other black women like her perpetual single? And next, what are the possiblities this demographic of black women could connect with one of the men they SAY they want? First, if Ms Williams had made being a wife to a black man in the rarified top 5% she certainly could have. But she and her sisters missed their window of opportunity because their focus was NOT on marriage. They wanted to get a mansion much more than a marriage. Second, at present Ms. Williams and her sisters would rather attribute their self imposed perpetual singlehood on relevant but CORRECTABLE issues. Domestic black women can't find us because they refuse to take off their blinders, make the committment and most important play the game of mating/dating to WIN. Admittedly men, particularly men of color who are financially capable of the lifestyle Ms. Williams references exist, but she must learn WHERE to look, focus on a "target"and this is most important do WHATEVER IT TAKES to close escrow.
I like Eboni ! I understand the struggle of trying to date. Some men are intimidated by a woman’s aspirations and success. 🎉Kudos to Eboni for not settling.
Eboni’s take on things implies that she wouldn’t even date a researcher with a PhD who makes like 70k a year (if even that) because despite having an education, he doesn’t make the money. She’s reached a level of success that most of the men she’s looking for are a super small percent of the population of men and those men have no problem themselves with “dating down”. A male doctor would date a nurse, but not many female doctors would date a male nurse….
That was a fascinating interview, and there was so much to unpack in it, I just wish there were more spaces to have these types of discussions. I was also surprised how the political part of the discussion seemed to be an us versus them or what those people are doing or saying... All in all a great discussion.
The men that Eboni and women like her are looking are already married or taken. They were taken in their 20s and 30s. Those women have passed up on the man they want now in their younger days. Either they didn't notice him or didn't want to wait on him or work with him. The men of her age now that are accomplished and such want more piece. They dont want to deal with that aggression at this time of their life. That being said i am a big fan of hers regardless. And i wish her the best in her journey.
What I love about Eboni is that she is well informed, authentic, and always willing to share her wealth of knowledge in every space that a microphone is place in front of her. It's been wonderful watching her growth from State of the Culture where I first discovered her.
I am listening to this lady thinking she would make a great wife for me. Not just listening but looking too. She is angelic. I give her a 9.9 ranking She would be a 10 in my eyes without the lashes.. I am a 56 year old man and I desire a family. I have no children and I want a child. I intentionally focused on my health and the results are I'm in my sexual prime.
"I love how your beauty is wrapped up in a political mission?" What man in history has ever thought to himself.. omg I am sooo turned on by her politics! I must have her!! 🙄
@@paulsimmons1221So many moments I laughed. She says because her life is so chaotic and busy, she just wants a man that she can laugh and relax with. She's really become a high value man.
Matthew 7:13-14 13 “Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. 14 For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few.
If she brings a whole nother table, who is going to bring the chairs, plates, glasses, forks, spoons, cook, decorate, provide the nice smells, the earnest ear, the soothing tone, the moral support, etc..?
I agree. As far all the other items at the table it’s not needed. The house and the other table has those items. You share those items with the other table.
Apparently what’s pissing some folks off the most is that she doesn’t have to bring her table anywhere~ bc it’s her table, lol. Folks are mad bc she’d like a partner but doesn’t need one. Well, damn. It’s her gd table, she can set it any way she likes.
1. Extraordinary woman. An attractive blend of beauty, brains, and sadly, naivete. That baby is going to make her snap to attention real quick. 2. Eboni would be absolutely exhausting as a long term partner. Great girfriend or FWB though. 3. Eboni would be a great HIRE for an ESTABLISHED man of means. Perfect consigliere. 4. Her problem is she is as ambitious as the type of man desires. She has to be the boss and Alpha men are not having it. 5. Her political acumen and rational view on politics was a godsend. She made Toure look like a complete fool on the Trump issue. He showed himself to be just another small minded sheep, who plays politics like tiddlywinks.
I'm pretty sure Ms.Williams knows a lot of men in her "bracket" who can do all that ish she wants. I'm just wondering why she hasn't been chosen by said men yet. Obviously she wants a man who is in a better position than her, but why would those type of men deal with her? I'm just a regular guy who works hard. No debt, no children and if our country doesn't go to complete hell in the next few years with LUCK I can be working solely for myself and FINALLY getting where I want to be fiscally. With that being said I would be cool with dating the cute chick who works at Subway or whatever, I don't need a woman to match my "ambition" all she has to do is increase my peace. As much as a "BOSS B" Ms.Williams is... she won't find peace with her mindset.
She has only been seen as a smash and dump. Wealthy and successful men are not going to marry a woman like her because she is insufferable. The white men that she prefers are definitely not going to put up with an attitude like hers. Hence why she has never been married to a wealthy man.
Congratulations cuz I work a 9 to 5 and I'm a county worker and I'm setting up for retirement and I got a house and a wife and kids so am going to be set once I retire women like her want what Meghan Markle got but look at her now Merkel is it's down and out and looking like trash but good luck to your endeavor man
She's already at peace though, and is living life on her own terms. Why does her ability and capacity to choose and set standards for herself trigger you ?!
Is she really tho? It seems like she’s doing the same cycle as her mother. Successful single mother raising a child because she doesn’t want to negotiate parenting with the father like her single mother.
She gets that but men typically don’t want a woman making more than them to come together. She is easily making 1 mil a year. Can she a man making 150k come together with her. Probably not.
She is in a different tax bracket. Those that I know in her bracket or higher who’ve been married for a long time don’t blend finances. My great-grandparents were married until death but they did not blend finances. They talked about joint purchases but did not blend
@@yasharyahawadahda8140 Im sure she knows. She doesn't see anything wrong with it. I see a bit of contradiction in her. On the one hand, she still has some traditional Southern sensibilities, but she's mostly a modern radical feminist.
I love EKW. A beautiful black woman is reaping greatness for Not having lowered her standards and only wants to be around those who have similar principles. Nobody is perfect but at least try. To black young women saving eggs is a great idea, just in case you have Not found a partner that you would have kids with you can still be a mother later.
Terrible advice to black young women. Freezing your eggs is not a plan!! It points to deeper issues and relationship mistakes made in their 20's and early 30's. Young black women; do the opposite of EKW younger in life if you want a different relationship outcome.
Playmate and toy are 2 different things. A toy is what you play with and a playmate is the person who plays with you. If you get fed up with what you are playing with (the toy), you and the playmate can find another toy or game to play together.
Loong story short, the men that she wants doesn't want her and so she takes that frustration out on black men by bashing us but at the end of the night, she's still bitter and lonely.
I think Eboni missed Iylana point. Women are in their heads too much about love it’s not like your career where you plan everything and run it. She wasn’t literally telling her to date a bus driver.
Love this interview. When I heard about the "Bus Driver" I was turned off, but now... I clearly understand where she is coming from. Now, I love this Lady
a "white presenting Jew" is a Jewish person who passes as white. Rabbi Gil Steinlauf has been very vocal about this in his declaration that "JEWS ARE NOT WHITE, but simply Jewish." Ashkenazi and Sephardic Jews in America often changed their names in an attempt to pass as white. Because of most Americans inability to see outside of the binary illusion of race, they lazily classified Jewish people as white when Europe did NOT. For survival purposes, Jewish people simply blended in b/c they comprehended just how anti-Semitic America's history is. Eboni astutely points this out. For more on this topic, google Rabbi Steinlauf's WaPost article entitled: "Jews struggled for decades to become white. Now we must give up white privilege to fight racism: Let's teach our children that we are, in fact, not white, but simply Jewish."
Why? She made her choices, She was married already and wrecked her marriage and left. She also was Engaged already and also chose to leave. Life is about choices and tradeoffs. Listen to her speak. That pitbull in a skirt like attitude that makes her a successful lawyer/business person has tradeoffs. She had lots of opportunity. She was in college and in Law School. Lots of potential mates that she let pass by. She is also a famous person, with a show, is on the internet and TV, and has access to many persons in high places...Why don't she attract one of them? Which brings back to what I said. Life is about choices and tradeoffs. She said she wants to meet a man who can clearly keep up with her lifestyle, one who is a leader and can take over the room. One who SHE will make the best version of themselves, and so forth. So then then next question is cool, What does THAT man want in a woman? Does THAT man want a woman Leading him to be the best version of himself, Does that man want someone who may not be able to have children at this point, and does THAT man want such a loud, aggressive, and quite frankly masculine woman. Once you look at it form the other side, you see why she is where she is. I wish her the best.
I love Toure's confusion at hearing Eboni talk about being "men in skirts" or whatever. Everyone doesn't subscribe to these Kevin Samuels internet ideologies. The echo chamber in black media would have you think everyone thinks like that.
Toure is the worst person to have the " bus driver" talk with. As her "friend" he ignored the nuances of her response to Ayala 's question, which inferred a lot more than what she simply said. Moreover, the term "partner" is used like a business proposition while also being used to reference a romantic relationship from which to produce children and a family. Thus men are saying in response, "this is bad business for me", given the totality of circumstance in the current environment.
His kids were mad disrespectful but she never said that they respected her😂😂😂 living in denial is a very powerful thing they just didn't love you and neither did he
Eboni K is a cute woman. For her to be single and childless in her 40s should be an example to ALL young women that being educated, successful, strong and independent is great for business but will have you lonely and talking to doctors in your 40s about fertility options.
I would rather be that than to be with a man has needs to be raised and taking care of. She is a 6,7 figure earner...why aren't you? She has at least 4,5 different skillsets each bringing in revenue...... How many skill sets do you have???? but SHE'S got problems???????
Wow great message. Is that what u taught your daughter? To dumb down herself so she could trap a man. Is the comment section from the 1959s I’m confused
The most important thing Eboni said in this interview is about the 20% on black men who would vote for Trump if the election was today. Last election it was 15%, now it’s grown to 20% and folks like Toure just keep glossing over it like it means nothing. Democrats better start listening or that chaotic ass man is going to be president again.
Chaotic? We were much better off during Trump’s term than Biden’s. Democrats spit in the face of black people…..the illegal immigrants, who Democrats allow in this country, are being treated like kings/queens while blacks suffer. Gtfoh
So what? Black men are completely fawked by both parties either way. I dont understand why the black community has gotten so effeminized in the last 2 generations that everything is all about how women feel.
I'm glad to see that she has not allowed all the negative sheeple derail her from her goals. Stop trying to humble successful black women. You will perish from yr dark basements and caves, while fixated on her continuous success. Wishing you countless blessings on your journey Ebony, please let the spectators spectate😅
I respect he bus driver point, but it’s much easier to “do multiple things” when you work in entertainment. When she was exclusively a Lawyer,I wouldn’t be surprised if she didn’t do multiple things for income.
She sounds sad 😔, when she spoke about how she was raised n how she feels about her ex's children, i now understand how she'll struggle to get along with men. And being a single mother will not help her mindset and bulldog attitude. She's also comes across very superficial and defined herself by outside accolades and validation She's definitely not a bad person but she's most likely a difficult person.
She simply doesn’t get it. For as well spoken she is, she’s ridiculously shallow. She keeps speaking to superficial things with regard to compatibility. All the education and accomplishments in the world aren’t going to make someone like you or be with you if you’re shallow and as judgmental as she is. That’s why she’s 40, single and trying to have a child by herself. Way more accomplished women than her have mates and husbands.
Exactly, it’s almost as if she wears her accomplishments like a badge of honor thst defines her. If you get a have a doctorate as a heart doctor, you got the phd because you’re passionate about hearts and wanting to improve hearts, because the phd was a prerequisite as a by product on your journey to what mage you happy. Man makes the money money doesn’t make the man.
Extremely shallow and materialistic. Men of character and value will never choose her. If she has a baby girl, the child will grow to be a carbon copy of her so that’ll be 3 generations of strong, single, independent women with no families. Sad that they plant the seeds of horrible outcomes for their unborn children by choosing to be a single parents.
My daughter just graduated in her field she will do great monetary, at her ceremony there was a absence of young black men. I don't want her to follow in Eboni's footsteps, these Ladies have to figure out what to do going forward
The black american family after the 1970s & especially the 1980s pretty much destroyed their boys as a collective. They threw their boys under the bus and into the fire to satisfy racist liberals and misandrist feminists. Its no small wonder that the #ados community is slowly being choked out and replaced with immigrants. Weak communities with weak family structures will inevitable be overwhelmed and absorbed by strong communities with strong family structures. Survival of the fittest and strongest, as it stands.
So value systems are personal? If that’s the case nothing is bad and every thing is good. If a married man with kids is traveling the world for work or play. If that his value system then that’s good and he’s a good husband and father ? We have to start drawing broad lines of what are good values. We have to stop coddling people in this world.judgment is what keeps this world from going off the rails.
Men travel all the time with kids. Military men, insurance, directors, and so forth. He is still a good husband. The issue with your thought process is family dynamics come in so many forms. It’s not one dynamic.
@@tam6011 my comment was for the men who travel and never see their kids. If he takes his kids and spend time time with the kids like you said he’s still have a good value system.
My question would be since when working like a lunatic and be so obsessed with material things and money has become the thing.. Is it really worth it to waste more of your precious times and youth at works , stress and running after money more important than your health, family , seeing your husband and kids grow and aged together. That's what life has becomes now, working like dogs and slaves for what , to makes car dealerships richer, ,gave away half of your life and wealth basically to the government , and getting Designers richer , that's your life and ends goals. I am not signing for that..Sorry
She even got the Bible quote mist understood : The "Eye of the Needle" was indeed a narrow gateway into Jerusalem. Since camels were heavily loaded with goods and riders, they would need to be un-loaded in order to pass through. Therefore, the analogy is that a rich man would have to similarly unload his material possessions in order to enter heaven. She doesn’t get it and as much as Tore agrees with her, I have the strong feeling that she wouldn’t give a man like Tore the time of day. It’s as if she is somehow defined by her achievements as if it was a checklist as opposed to doing something that makes her happy. She’s in a perpetual rat race and ultimately like her mother.
I agree and I’m a woman who was raised by a wonderful father and mother. Also, happily married, nearly 27 years to a wonderful man.
I love that’s she’s always honest whether you like her or hate her.
I have a new understanding of who Ebony K Williams is. I really like her . I love her personality.
Parents tell your kids “NO” they need to hear the word no and respect it. This is essential for them to understand and respect boundaries.
Thank you.
Loved this well-balanced and lively interview.
This was a great interview!
She is absolutely gorgeous !!!!!!! 💯✊🏾💯
@@gregorybennings8718She wants someone on her level. What's wrong with that?
As the type of man she will never get how do you feel about her talking down about blue collar workers
Ok ..She respects her elders. That speaks volumes to her values. She's a rare jewel.😍😇
Brothas, when our women say to us a form of assault has happened to them, please take a moment to express concern for that event and make sure they're okay. We are really mishandling those situations. Don't stay in that place and make it weird, but don't ignore it either.
She said to be with her you have to over perform 😂
When Toure says things like “ you’re a man with this little job” I always wait for the moment they will be humbled.
She said Colman Domingo. He's gay lol....Women talk long enough and the true self come out.

He is just comforting her at this point most men would have not coddled her in this fashion
Coddled her?! The fact that you took that away from this intelligent conversation where they sparred intellectually and discussed a wide array of issues from ivf to politics, gun rights, beauty as advocacy etc, reflects a lack of comprehension on your part.

I love this interview and I love Eboni K. Williams.
I get the conversation, I think there is a disconnect because there are women working as bank tellers who refuse to date the proverbial bus driver.
That’s not her problem though. Ebony is a millionaire - so maybe keep the conversation to your tax bracket not hers

What does "On your level" mean?
Great interview, Toure.
2-5 million Dollars is not middle/upper middle class... These type of conversations are not real.
Uh yeah. It’s real for HER because she knows the value of a dollar - that’s how she earned millions
Most people think they are richer than they actually are.

She’s driven & only see things her way
She needs to let go of gold digging it's not helping her
Black women embraced this single culture starting in the 1960s & 1970s so of course this situation like we see with Eboni K. Williams is the end result.
This is the endgame for the #ados black community.
The decline before the final downfall.
What a great interview 👏!

The men that Eboni and women like her are looking are already married or taken. They were taken in their 20s and 30s. Those women have passed up on the man they want now in their younger days. Love this interview. When I heard about the "Bus Driver" I was turned off, but now... I clearly understand where she is coming from. Now, I love this Lady
Why did Toure catch that comment that Ebony made “White Presenting Jew” what does that mean!? I’m interested.
a "white presenting Jew" is a Jewish person who passes as white. For more on this topic, google Rabbi Steinlauf's WaPost article entitled:
"Jews struggled for decades to become white. Now we must give up white privilege to fight racism: Let's teach our children that we are, in fact, not white, but simply Jewish."
Great interview!! So sad to see so many women like Eboni without the spouse they desire...but that was the plan, right.
His kids were mad disrespectful but she never said that they respected her😂😂😂 living in denial is a very powerful thing they just didn't love you and neither did he
27:36 but in what fashion? Men don’t want a coach, they want a cheerleader
Exactly. She can help a man to reach goals AND be his comfort. She says it as thought it’s either/or.
@@CassandraCarter-q1byou missed the point
Wow great message. Is that what u taught your daughter? To dumb down herself so she could trap a man. Is the comment section from the 1959s I’m confused
@@delmarfo No she didn't miss the point, she's right on target.
The lefts political agenda is toxic to blk men that vote. It's a matter of waking up.
Beautifully said. These comments are absolutely horrendous
Love you ebony
I respect he bus driver point, but it’s much easier to “do multiple things” when you work in entertainment. When she was exclusively a Lawyer,I wouldn’t be surprised if she didn’t do multiple things for income.
Toure is pandering to her and it’s not helping her, she needs to calm down
So glad she commented on the Tyler Perry movie troupes.
She sounds sad 😔, when she spoke about how she was raised n how she feels about her ex's children, i now understand how she'll struggle to get along with men. And being a single mother will not help her mindset and bulldog attitude. She's also comes across very superficial and defined herself by outside accolades and validation
She's definitely not a bad person but she's most likely a difficult person.
Her parents didnt do her any favors. Probably filled her head with Disney Princess fantasies growing up.
And if she has a son God help him.
She’s a product of an “ I don’t need no man” mother. And she spent he’s 20s and most of her 30s with the same attitude.
Its all for the egos, but the chicken are about to come home to roost for these modern woman.
An accomplished prideful single woman
She even got the
golly wolly...youre on point
She should definitely take the batteries out or unplug for 30 seconds or so to reset her mindset. Comes off resentful and vain. Also if she think it’s tough finding a brotha now it’s going to be way tougher once she has a kid.
