Okay but how do you install the valve with the regulator… every thread turns the same way and when I tighten my fitting into the outlet pipe going into the ground I then have to loosen it to screen into the rain it’s flow valve and it keeps leaking. I did install Teflon but that doesn’t seem to help either.

How do I prevent backflow if my drip is above the anti siphon valve?
Use a check valve. Works every time. Prevents water from moving backwards.
