  • In this video, Randy and I have gotten ourselves in way over our heads. The Maple tree we were tasked with removing has way more work involved than both of us and the price tag had in mind...

I know how Jake said this would be the worst video because of how nasty the tree was, but I enjoy the video. I think it’s good not to show only the good of working with trees but also how things can be so frustrating. There’s also something to note about how Jake and Randy are working together and both hating on the tree and not each-other. Lots of people when they get frustrated at work put it on their coworkers, but you can clearly see how great of a duo these guys are. Great video, keep up the good work!

AS A FULL TIME ARBORIST, these are the videos I wait patiently for. People I watch and admire, struggling… just looking at how you cope with the bullshit. Thanks brother! Film it all

I got the opportunity to climb with a Husqvarna battery top handle not long ago and was happy with the performance. Nice to only have to press a button to turn it on, especially if you’re in an awkward work position, etc.

You worked almost 5 hours, brought down a crapload of wood and then as you are picking up you look back up at it and there is more tree standing than when you started.

"Good songs that we lied about liking when we were kids." what a line

  • @scott_small

Cinnabon boost for Randy for the tag-team.

    "I am a secondary character!" - LMAO 😆

I'm 35 years old now and when I was a kid my dad took my sister and her friends to a NSYNC concert but my sister got sick and couldn't go so I went instead. Let me tell you, I have been probably 30 concerts from Kiss, Queen(with Paul Rodgers not Freddy), Offspring, Primas, Foreigner to MGK and NSYNC blew them all away. I they were alright but I was literally one of the only boy in the entire audience of 60,000 screaming chicks bouncing up and down, taking their shirts off. was sick. especially being 16 years old.

“ so you hear it to, thought I was dreaming “ the line that will go down in history as the beginning of the legendary ( Twisted Maples] winners of the 2026 Grammys for the hit song ( you hate the tree, your hating me).

We have a term for this episode, and it's called embracing the suck! When the job is so bad, the only thing getting you threw is your buddy. Together you guys can endure and embrace the suck! 😂😂😂😂😂 You guys are an amazing team!

Randy outing himself as a “Running with Scissors” fan is the highlight of my YEAR. 😂😂

  • @anthonyknox5799

I love seeing the habit of proper pruning a lateral, then through cutting on the same chunk of wood 😊 🤙🏽 some things we can’t help.

  • @greghoover8981

I'm new to your channel and having watched several videos, I am super impressed with your remarkable expertise. Your videos are entertaining as well as educational, and once I start watching, I can't stop. Explaining how and why in your tree felling while adding in a little humor is great.

Love the squirrel making his exit at

  • @daves3721

Excellent video guys as always. Keep up the good work and stay safe. 💪

  • @markheintz1878

Seems like we all over estimate what we can do in a day. The little hassles and fighting tangles and snags always adds up. It gets frustrating, especially if you bid them tight.

  • @rickstafford5316

That was so much fun listening to y’all. Those limbs were spring loaded and ready for anything. Cant wait to see the rest.
