Jake I’ve never seen someone have so much fun as you do doing what you love to do. You guys are great partners. Your videos make my day. I am always waiting for the next video to come out… Keep up the good work.
Wow, I used to climb towers for a living which shares a lot of similarities with being an arborist (like the type of people that work in the industry, rigging, working at height, etc) and the way this is edited with the cuts back and forth make me kind of miss it! Reminds me of working on a tower bantering with the crew…
Your content is not only learning but relaxing and entertaining. Randy is awesome, he has like a DJ/ cartoon voice. After a stressful day of work watching your videos is so relaxing, almost a calming effect for me. Thank you and keep the content coming.
Your channel is really a lot of fun to watch. Love the humor between you and your friend Randy. Scary at times an really keeps my attention. So Dangerous. Wishing you guys much safety.❤😊👍👍👍👍👍👍👍Have a good day.
I'm of the age where I can remember watching early 90s/Jordan-era Bulls. Yeah he had his highlight reel dunks etc., but what I kind of remember most is his 17-19 foot jumper from the wing just being money. Like he didn't miss that. Wasn't necessarily Sports Center worthy, but it was just automatic, and arguably more impressive than the dunks. It's like this video with every damn humbolt wedge. They were money. I clicked play for the highlight reel tree just missing a house (tricksy title!), but all I got to watch was shot from the wing after shot from the wing. Supremely enjoyable to watch pros at work. Bravo.
Really nice on how you strategized this safe removal. These type of vids separate the men from the boys in the dangerous tree removal business. Heard it from the church lady that you guys are back on the cinnabons.
Enjoyed the video. When I have a tree job that requires a lot of preplanning and setup I find it to be not only very challenging, but the most interesting and enjoyable to do. Nothing like a little hair raising element. Great job boys!
A scary one for sure, ngl this video gave me the chills bigtime in the first half. You guys are true pros for securing the neighbors house in that weather💪 Stay safe my dudes🙏
Yeah that's what we charge we have a three-man crew I'm in the Pittsburgh area we charge around $2,000 sometimes 3,000 a day depending on what the job is anything less than that you're really not going to make no money plus you have equipment to take care of you have so much stuff you have to take care of
Yeah prices are dropping. I’m charging the same as I always have even with my expenses going thru the roof, and I’m loosing bids to half price. I wonder how anyone can make that work. I slash my prices and make like 100$ a day after the labor and business expenses are exhausted. My help makes way better money than I do lately
Sappy supplies is a great place to order from I had ordered a few months ago and had a few difficulties with the stock but Jacob made it right and the website has improved greatly Since then
I've been binge watching your videos since discovering your channel last night. It gives me the rush i used to get climbing trees and storm riding in the tops when I was a kid 45 years ago while growing up on 5 acres of forested land in Snohomish. In my 30's I lived in Redmond and used my climber gear to scale trees using all rope and hang out in the canopies above all of the techies in the neighborhood. Watching your vids gives me that pit of my stomach feeling again. Not quite the rush you get from actually doing it but it makes me want to buy a rope again and practice some knots. Cool channel 👍
You should invest in a tracked spider lift for situations like this. Drive right in and set your lines 80 feet up safely and quickly. They are expensive but would be super handy.
Jake & Randy, a comment: I find it hard to understand why you do not use eye protection. I use some fairly cheap, light-weight 3M plastic wrap-arounds which I sometimes forget I have on. I'd hate for you guys to have an accident especially while high up on a tree.
Hey Guys. Really enjoying your channel. I have no experience in arboriculture, but I love trees and find what you do fascinating! Its great to watch and your commentary and banter makes me feel like I'm along on the job with you! Great fun! One question for you - when you're chunking or felling, you make the V cut to determine direction of fall right? Is there a difference between an upward V or a downward V? Sometimes you cut in horizontal then cut out from below, sometimes from above. Great work!
I climbed with a grillion. I tried other ways but I was already comfortable and safe with my style. Being able to adjust under tension was so nice. Even 15 years ago
Meanwhile, someone in the area is outside just enjoying their day, smelling the flowers, watering their garden, enjoying the trees, when all of a sudden on the wind they hear... "When I was a young warthooog!" echoing around the treetops.
Dude!!! I was just listening to nickleback yesterday after getting off work and doing tree bids and thinking the same thing!! I even hated on them, but theyve got some good shit. Creed too hahaha
It may just be me, but I can't even look at a running chainsaw without safety glasses without getting a wood chip in my eyes. Yeah, they are a pain, fogging up and concentrating the sweat so it runs right into your eyes, but they do keep the wood chips out, mostly anyways.
Recently had to have a 40' live oak removed here in TX, cost me $2300 for removal and to have the stump ground down. The fact that anyone would only charge $1000 sounds crazy to me.
The banter between Jake and Randy makes this channel.
When you and randy are together it's like a great tree channel and a comedy show in one😂"I can feel you"😂😂the way you bounce off each other is🤌
Jake and Randy are so entertaining while still taking the job seriously. I love it.
Snappy Supplies - “Twice the price, twice the speed.” 😂😂😂
Working on Sunday to help someone in an emergency is the approved exception. Very nice of you. God bless!
You two fellas are the best tree duo going on TH-cam . Feel like I’m right at work with my guys watching you two .

Enjoyed that as I had my breakfast in the UK. Good teamwork and decision-making.
You and Randy crack me up.
Less taking videos are the best. Love the channel 😊
I'm with Randy in loving Cinnabon! Of course the vids are great fun,
I haven’t laughed so hard in a long while. In the middle of such a crazy situation as well.
Great work guys!
Really nice on how you strategized this safe removal. These type of vids separate the men from the boys in the dangerous tree removal business. Heard it from the church lady that you guys are back on the cinnabons.
Randy just putting on an expert lesson on how to ascend a tree. Top notch!
Love the Gibbs Klimbair...definitely a learning curve.... really helps to have a smooth line.... those little frays or nicks can be a hass.
Enjoyed the video. When I have a tree job that requires a lot of preplanning and setup I find it to be not only very challenging, but the most interesting and enjoyable to do. Nothing like a little hair raising element. Great job boys!
Crazy Sketch tree
Great description of your plan
Outstanding job, you and Randy nailed it
Yo you guys are the truth…I’ve been dying laughing the whole video
Amazing video like always. Both of you are very brave men.
A scary one for sure, ngl this video gave me the chills bigtime in the first half. You guys are true pros for securing the neighbors house in that weather💪 Stay safe my dudes🙏
Randy is hilarious. Work is always better when you have fun.
The problem with using spike is disease transfer. Spike climbing to prune is one of the reason Dutch elm spread so rapidly.
You two guys really make my day!
Finished watching and liking all your videos to date!
Awesome! Thank you!

Sappy supplies is a great place to order from I had ordered a few months ago and had a few difficulties with the stock but Jacob made it right and the website has improved greatly Since then
I do appreciate your musical talents ! ❤❤
I’m so mad that Randy’s, “Sir, Guity of Treeson” joke didn’t land with Jake. Lol

Randy stowing his saw before the pieces fall to be able to manipulate them is awesome!
XD Randy with the "one liners" XD "Bust out a line" then right after with the "I can feel you" XD XD XD XD

I feel bad for Randy......he is so shy!!! You should encourage him to talk more....let him know it is safe to come out of his shell!! Great video!
Nice job Jake... hope you feel better.
That first couple hundred pounds coming out of a tree that’s uprooted feels so good.

Can you use a drone to fly up a tiny line to tow up a bigger line? I mean to set a tow line some where high up. Then fell it with the line
Dude!!! I was just listening to nickleback yesterday after getting off work and doing tree bids and thinking the same thing!! I even hated on them, but theyve got some good shit. Creed too hahaha
Cool video as usual, thanks 🍻👍🏻💪🏻

Love that Randy brings Cinnibon out of the blue in every video...😂
Always enjoy the “Dynamic Duo”
God I laughed. “Nice I can feel you….barely” 😂😂😂

Prices are dropping like a stone lately
Surely the price will vary according to the size of the tree?
That Husky 540 sounds pretty sweet for its size!
I’m happy that Scott Stapp is looking so healthy and happy. Good to see Creed touring again.
Excellent job for such a sketchy tree 👍👍
