Este video es muy útil y se note que le has puesto ganas, es un orgullo saber que hay gente en España que se tome su trabajo en serio, bastante buen video, me suscribo ❤️
Amazing! I think I will do 3 out of 5 tips instead of all 5 since I’m too lazy cutting tiny tapes and going through each individual keycaps is just a bore
The keyboard sounds and looks great! This must have taken a long time to do and some frustration down the line, for example the silicon all collecting at the bottom, but it was all worth it because the end result is amazing!
Sounds and looks amazing. You put in over $50 but got an over $120 quality custom keyboard with a day of work which is nice. I just bought a good budget one for $43 but I must admit your key press is much more satisfying
Dude, I'm not even a minute in and I've already learned a ton of what I needed. BTW your accent sounds pretty good and I didn't need the subtitles, but it helps a little :D.
Glad you liked the video! :D My accent is my biggest insecurity in life right now so it's good to see that not everyone has trouble understanding lol. (I got extremely insecure after reading some negative comments pop up haha)
The keycaps are cherry profile which has problems on the third row when using keyboards with north facing switch sockets, such as this one. I’d recommend anything but cherry profile for this board
Dude! How much time do you need to have to such a mod?! :D For real. Amazing modding work and very well done video, too! I just stumbled upon it and watched it completely. Kind regards. =) PS: The "funny clip" made me lol, too. xD
Hello, I found your content a little bit ago from Ali's comments and wanted to let you know that I respect the work you put into this video. Keep it up. To many people give up right before greatness, so keep pushing!
I'm not inclined to undertake all those modifications myself; instead, I'd prefer to invest in a keyboard that already produces the satisfying sound I'm looking for. However, I must say, the editing in this video is absolutely remarkable 🔥🔥
Bruh wtf when you first showed the example on how it may sound after the mods i tought it was a complete diferent and nicer keyboard, its crazy how good you made it sound
I got a hot swappable mechanical keyboard with linear POM switches for around 22 on amazon, I lubed the switches and did a few other mods and then got low profile keycard (preference) for around 20 bucks. I made what cost around 42 bucks sound like an 100 dollar keyboard!
awesome video! I am a masochist so I tend to buy "budget" keyboards so I can mod and fix them up to make them sound like expensive boards. This was really informational! Especially the silicone mod, I have never seen anyone do that and I think its a brilliant idea!
It was finished and is ready to be built but I have to wait for some some things to be sorted out before making the video. I promise I'll make that video ASAP.
You should have just lubed and o'ringed the switches, you basically just took apart the whole keyboard and added new switches, it would have been way cooler if you made the stock reds sound that good lol
I knew it!!! I was going to ask you if you speak Spanish on your last video I saw, but thought it was a dumb question!! HOLA HERMANO! From Canada (Half Salvadorian and Nicaraguan)
Bro for a second I thought you are someone new in LinusTechTips. The quality of this video is so good that I didn't realize till the end it's not LinusTechTips video 🤣🤣
What is the point to "upgrade the cheapest keyboard" if you gonna change the switches? I'll rather DIY one with another $80+original that will sound and feel more like a $500 keyboard.
Nice challenge! How do you make your silicone? I'm trying to do the same thing to my Keychron K2 but I'm having trouble finding resources on how to make Silicone the way you did
Hey I’m looking to buy this same soldering iron. And I have some questions. 1. Does it turn black and not pick up solder? 2. Whats is the max temperature? 3. Did u make a review video on it?
I just bought the first one I saw on amazon. It worked and I barely used it since this video but: 1: It did turn black after 1 single use so probably not great long term. 2: Max temperature is as advertised. I don't remember how much but at max setting it was hot enough to comfortably melt the solder, the 220 setting struggled. 3: No review. I guess it's a serviceable cheap soldering iron but probably not great if you plan to use it frequently.
Currently planning to buy a new keyboard. I have mod my prebuilt keyboard before but I only mod the switch of it. I will probably go all out for the new keyboard.
@@DailySetupTech good stuff man you had a very good video on every step and your very transparent and make everything easy to understand id love to see another budget build
Unfortunately you can't turn membrane to mechanical, but mechanical keyboards are so cheap nowadays you can get a entry level mechanical keyboard for the same price as a membrane keyboard.
bro, i feel you, this f-ing enter key. ansi layout would probably be better than that, even though ansi is not ideal either. they need to just stop making iso layouts
You deserve a lot more recognition. Your humor and love for the hobby is contagious
Awesome editing and I loved the humor you put into this. I loved the wobbly switch clip! :)
Thanks! It found it really funny at the beginning but by the time I finished editing I rewatched it so many times I a wasn’t sure anymore. 😂
Bro just kept the case
What about the pcb and plate and battery and daughter board and stabalisers
@@thenewbb Thats what i mean, an cheap keyboard, lube and switches whit cheap things from kinder garden make it feels expensive, wanna do it too!
those were godlike mods, went a little heavy on the dielectric grease but those stabs could definitely use it. Your work is awesome man, keep it up
the quality and editing you put in is very high quality, you're a very underrated content creator I wish you get a bigger audience.

the editing and filming is very high quality, you are one of those channels that are just so underrated. Keep up the great work!
Bro this is some gourmet content, I love your style, new sub here. Cant wait for you to hit 1m!
I'm happy to hear you liked it! Can't wait either to hit 1M lol
Amazing! I think I will do 3 out of 5 tips instead of all 5 since I’m too lazy cutting tiny tapes and going through each individual keycaps is just a bore
Wow your editing and video structure is fantastic. Great job!
Subs just for the sheer amount of working to do that. Well done
The keyboard sounds and looks great! This must have taken a long time to do and some frustration down the line, for example the silicon all collecting at the bottom, but it was all worth it because the end result is amazing!
Love your content, more imaginative and high quality than a lot of the more popular keyboard TH-camrs. I hope you keep growing!! Don’t give up!!1!
Thanks!! I really appreciate it! I won’t give up 😁

High quality content much appreciated 👍🏼
this guy really give it all from making the keyboard to video editing. Dope content.
Love your videos, quality and funny :3
Glad you enjoy it!
Absolutely amazing video. So precise

I just started modding my keyboards and this is sooo helpful. Thank you so much, my keebs are going to sound so good because of you. 😊
I'm glad to hear that! ❤️
The switches more expensive than the keyboard itself 💀💀💀
Yeah
great vid! id recommend o ring mounting it as well as a final touch, as it gives it a much more even feel and sound.
I didn’t know where to find an o ring for a reasonable price in Europe 😅. But I’d love to try it in the future!

super insane bro, ur super smart and made a pretty crazy sounding keyboard

GOD TIER EDITING and honestly I'd do the Screw It mod ANYDAY! Definitely a 100% subscibe from me! :D
I'm glad to see you enjoyed the video! Thanks for subbing!
Good Job man, me too i'm addict to keyboard modding so i like how you talk about mods :)
Not bad, the keyboard sells for $19, but the switches for improvement sell for $32, you very humar😂
Good job Bruce Lee.
This is so coool man
I really loved the mod
Fantastic

The bobble-switches made me laugh 😂
Wow I thought u were a channel with 100-200k subs. Only 11k? Man you are so underrated!
Thank you!! Comments like yours make my day!
@@DailySetupTech Bro it's been 8 months you haven't uploaded
amazing edit skills man love it and subscribe
you should have added the price AFTER modding, 'cause the title seems clickbait to me.
Awesome results 👍😎

Amazing video! LOVED THE FAST PACED EDITING can you mod the rk g68 next?
Another incredible video! You’re hilarious and super detailed, I love it! I’d honestly pay to have my K2 upgraded😂, you’re a beast!
"Welcome to Keyboard ASMR."
Step 1: Spend as much on a cheap keyboard as you would have on a discounted decent keyboard.
Love the editing
this is a really nice video
your videos are so high quality or sucha small creator, keep it up and you will probably do a colab soon
Thanks! I appreaciate it!
sounds way better
Please make more videos man I loved this 1
wow it really looks like sounds like a completely different keyboard!
dude u are amazing at what u do
This is a good video.
What happened to mkbhd keyboard?
It was finished and is ready to be built but I have to wait for some some things to be sorted out before making the video. I promise I'll make that video ASAP.

Growing up, I dreamed of working at LinusTechTips but it never happened so I started my own channel 🤣
Where in Spain u live? Mainland or islands? Recently moved to Canary Islands and kinda wanna know some custom keyboard shops etc.
Mainlaind. I know a friend that struggles with Canary Islands Delivery. I buy my stuff from Amazon and MyKeyboard.EU, Check if they ship over there.
Tactile switches would have been a better upgrade over the stock linear switches.
deffo overlubed the stabs because they make less sound that way, I personally couldn't get used to that but do what works for you xD
What is the point to "upgrade the cheapest keyboard" if you gonna change the switches? I'll rather DIY one with another $80+original that will sound and feel more like a $500 keyboard.
great video, your talent is inspiring.
Thank you so much!
Nice challenge! How do you make your silicone? I'm trying to do the same thing to my Keychron K2 but I'm having trouble finding resources on how to make Silicone the way you did
I just bought a Kit from Amazon, mixed the 2 parts and it just works. Nothing complicated
I just modded a K2 and you could add the low density foam you find in the top of the box

you're just great maan
@DailySetupTech How do you make a silicone mold? Do you reccomend any good videos on how to learn?
Huh !!! How can you mod soooooo good 😮😮😮
The fact that the switches are more expensive than the keyboard is funny
you made an amazing video here man why did you stop posting ?
I got a separate job last year and hadn't had the time to make videos here. I just quit this week so I'm back making videos this week :)))

And is there any way to turn a membrain keyboard to mechanical 😅
Unfortunately you can't turn membrane to mechanical, but mechanical keyboards are so cheap nowadays you can get a entry level mechanical keyboard for the same price as a membrane keyboard.
im surprised you have 12k and not 120k with this content
More coming soon
putting GMK Bento on $20 keyboard is weird flex and also absolute overkill
I know, but the cheap keycap set I originally bought didn't have the proper keycaps so I just improvised lol
I love how every part was cheap
*except for the keycaps*
which typing software do you use ?
why does ur keydboard have switches if its a membrane keydboard in the buying site
For how long did you study doing it?
nice vid dude
Glad you enjoyed it
bro's keycaps took like 90% of the total build price
Buenísimo el mod, sabes donde se puede conseguir la versión ISO en español? La busco y solo me aparece la ANSI
cool video, but what's the matter of buying cheapest keyboard if you spend ~50 bucks on mods?
Where did you go bro? Hope you're doing ok.
