Yes I have a special piece that I can put on my vacuum so that I can remove all the dust and other stuff from my keyboard. But I hit one of the buttons with the piece of plastic where the brush is attached to. So I should not have puched so hard :)

Thank you! You hit the part that everyone else leaves out, which is the orientation, top/bottom (or back/front whichever way you look at it) of the hinge. So the little bump hint was the "key" so to speak to know which way the hinge goes toward the board or away. Thank you!!!

geez! 3 yrs ago,out of frustration- i ditched my IBM Thinkpad.in a closet because nomatter how much itried, i couldn't getthe keys to stay on the board.First the left arrow key, next to go was the home key for a while i had saved the keys, intending to fix them later; but i started tinkering with t, now it's in a thousand pieces. lol tnx for this posting, methink you saved a samsung npp149, from a similar fate
So here i was trying to repair a funny feeling key, so I removed it in hopes to clean it and fix it somehow... yep, dirt was the culprit but i had no idea how the key fit back in. Maybe if I remove ANOTHER key and see how it goes... wooops!!! that didn';t work, let's try another key... nope, same thing. MAybe if I lift this other key so I could peek underneath it... woops!! Anyway, glad to have found your video I saw that the tiny pins go INSIDE the larger plastic casing and not above or under it. Thanks!!

holy shit i thought my pc was a goner. To be honest i have a razer gaming laptop and the key fell off and the mini netbook both of them got out and i couldnt fix it. This video helped me so much! My shift key and caps lock keys were screwed until i fixed it which is why i can USE CAPS but thanks bro! sub and like
dude try not to cover everything with your fingers as to try and put the key back I can't really see how you really put it.. and what's a "groovy side" can you use normal words please..so I still can't get to put the key back.. it's not fixing as it should it's still balancing a bit..

I got my D key in, but it doesn't feel as tight to the keyboard as the other keys, or as responsive. If I press the top of the key, it doesn't even register as being pressed. Help?

I broke one of my ctrl key which happens to be the only one that I use. Whenever I try putting it back on, I slide the metal staple looking thing in, put the white part into the key and press down. After that, one side still pops up.

When I put my Keyboard's Missing Key which is "W" It just pops out and the henges gets stuck to the key cap not to the computer board.
