The legal system here in Victoria, Australia bends over backwards to try to reform and rehabilitate many people who, quite frankly, would be locked up for many years, maybe after “falling downstairs” in a police station, elsewhere. This does give some people a chance to redeem themselves, but obviously means others get far more lenient treatment than they possibly deserve.
This man is truly despised by a vast majority of us. Probably almost all, including serious criminals.
Vigilante “justice” is very rare here, but as an upstanding citizen, I suspect the next motorcycle he scratches, might not go so well for him.
And I’m certain that many of our excellent police officers wouldn’t be sad about that.
And btw, the guy who calmly turned off the gas cylinder sounds like a lot of good Aussie men, and women, who I know.

Oh, really? Did you just totally forget about the past couple years where BLM systematically burned down countless American cities, murdered innocent people, permanently blinded cops with illegal lasers and opened fire on them at point blank range as they sat in their cruisers? They got away with it all scot-free, with total impunity, and were instead actually lauded as heroes. Or what about how packs of thugs just walk right into stores and take whatever their little hearts desire, and when they're done, they just leisurely stroll out right past store security personnel because they know our sick, subverted society will actually portray _them_ as the good guys here, while punishing the innocents.

As Angel mentioned he was a neighbour from hell. It was reported that he conducted a two year campaign of harassment against neighbours. When one neighbour decided to sell and move apartments he began to interfere with the sales campaign by playing music obnoxiously loud. He would also empty garbage and leaf litter on the neighbours property to deter buyers. He neighbour received and accepted a bid on the property that was $70 000 bellow the sellers asking price. The bid was made by a company that Pusey owned and hid his identity behind - the business name was Thanks So Much was you can see is a sarcastic expression of his personality disorders. UnfortunatelyAustralia’a property market in the past 30 years has allowed people like Pusey to take out loans and amass wealth by property price appreciation supported by generous government tax incentives. Imagine him as your landlord! His financial employment was specifically in brokering loans for property investment.
His recent alleged crimes involve using surveillance cameras to menace a neighbour and leaving garbage and repeatedly dumping cat litter and waste on the neighbours door step. He allegedly assaulted the police officers that attended his home regarding that harassment.

He was demanding his grade on a paper be switched from a C to an A. He didn't ask her why he got a C or what he could do to improve his grade, as a sane student might who was upset about having received a lower grade than they expected. And when she very evenly said she couldn't do that and started to explain why she graded it that way, he called her a f...... c... very loudly and left, with a look on his face like he was ready to kill someone. I was stunned. All I could think about was wondering what he was capable of doing and who would have the misfortune to cross his path in the future. Another detail about him, he was extremely good looking.

Now he works somewhere else…I can’t believe this guy got into so much trouble in his life.. When will he ever grow up ? It also said in the news paper, and T.V he was abusive to his wife…. Thanks again from Melbourne Australia 🇦🇺

As an Australian the good Dr is right. He is the most hated man in Australia. Apart from all the petty crimes it’s his lack of compassion that really got under the skin of most. A large part of the traditional Australian culture has been to always look after your mates, we traditionally regard “mates” as just about anyone that is around us including strangers. You look after each other just as much if not more than you look out for yourself. These ideals are slowly being eaten away with subsequent generations and the proliferation of the social media age that rewards self promotion above unity. Dick Pewsey’s live everywhere around the world, you get broken minds in any community but the jarring nature of this particular case was felt personally as well as an example of how this self serving mindset and our current society’s path may help equip and embolden attitudes like his rather than muzzle them.

Dr. Grande thanks for doing this case study. No one is perfect in life. There is limits to that when saying that about someone of course. I hope this guy isn't living in the same city I do right now. Thanks for the reminder by publishing this case that we better be careful who we choose to spend any time with and we better be careful who gets hired to be a caregiver. I wonder where Richard is now. I sure hope Richard Pusey is still in jail and not a head nurse somewhere right now often micromanaging and ordering other employees and other caregivers around every chance he gets while being moved from one nursing home to another only because investors don't know how to get him off their payroll right now yet after hiring him while believing that would help them save money when hiring an employee willing to work in a non-traditional role.
