Was in Daytona Racing during Kartweek - Road Racing and overheard how most people that own Vortex Rock motors were crank case stuffing which made this motor a lil rocket . I have GoPro footage of me doing 13500 rpm ( Honda Cr125 modified) with Vortex Rock karts passing me as if though I was looking for Hooters .
Does the timing cover need to be removed to change the starter motor? My starter motor went out (probably broken brush wires) and I'm having a heck of a time finding any instructions on removing just the starter motor from an assembled engine.
Where does one find a proper Overhaul Manual. The IAME Overhaul manual is excellent, and includes complete rebuild instructions with tolerances, etc. I can find NOTHING similar for the ROK. If OTK wants to compete with IAME, they should make themselves easier to do business with.
@@SS-us8zs sorry just saw this 😂 I had to get a 30mm impact socket and grind it down on a bench grinder. Took about 20 min and every 30 sec or so I took it off go see if it fit the gap. It doesn't fit perfectly but it works. One of the biggest headeaches I have ever had trying to get a tool for karting
@@sahib6742 Thanks for getting back to me, i figured out that you can pop the clutch off without taking off the 30MM bolt, then you just need a regular 30mm socket, no need for a lathed one.
