- Alright it's only been 6 months, but that is 2 whole seasons and a lot of QOL updates and balance patches. 6 months in live service is a long time. So how'd it go?

I'll tell you what it was like for me. A million notifications that I had to figure out how to prioritize; a full questlog; lots of Discord questions; discovering new QOL features (Loadouts, Armor mod changes, Champion changes, transmog changes, etc); and changing mains, which meant redoing ALL QUESTS 💀
Yeah there are huge challenges, and huge positive updates. Balances differently for everyone

I jumped back on this weekend for the first time in over a year - won’t be firing it back up anytime soon
I quit destiny two about a year and a half after it launched. I was interested to return to it a few months back, but realized all of the content that I liked and enjoyed back then is just not in the game anymore. I refuse to support that
I can relate to this, cause well even though I haven't played in months, but when I did come back I did have fun for a bit, until the friends I played with all started to hate me cause of I was locked from a lot of stuff, and at least for the community I was apart of was very rude to me. Like I do really want to come back to the game, but if I'm just gonna get a lot of negativity from friends and other elite players, then I won't bother playing cause of the massive skill gap.

The cutscenes completely take over and ruin it if you've had time off. I was coming up to a 2 year break when Lance Reddic passed and wanted to go to the Tower. So I reinstalled the game, etc but was forced to watch a multitude of cutscenes etc and was then thrown straight into a mission. Fortunately I could back out but now when I return proper I'll be even more clueless.
Isn't there a skip button. Can't you do missions on legend and master? Perhaps there should be an option onscreen to start where you left off or at the newest season. The real problem is the genre. MMO. People play this genre regularly and it is like your living room. Therefore people get picky and forget they share this living room with thousands and thousands of others. Before criticizing come up with a better alternative with the understanding that those thousands are out there and want what they want in there "living rooms" as well.
I think they need to remove all indicators off the Home Screen. Especially all the pinnacle and powerful reward indicators. It’s all overwhelming for no reason and especially if someone’s max light there is literally no reason for it to be ther e
I just came back from Shadowkeep and Im so confused I dont even know what to do...
people who say there is nothing to do in this game are crazy. there is truly toooooo much to do and it is confusing especially for new and returning. Some one should make an easy to understand video lining out what is what for what. I would watch it and subscribe.
Same haven’t played since the season where the weapon was “the forth horsemen” and I’m so lost idk what to do or what’s going on lol

Sigh Good to know I'm not alone. I stopped playing D2 since Season of.... idk it was december 2022. So almost 1 year.. I have return and so much has changed!
Edit: I also don't like the first cutscene at the start... I have missed at least 3 or 4 seasons... I wish I could have continued were I left off. Oh!! as a matter of fact I haven't even played the latest DLC... so that green stuff is new to me.
I've have always been on top of Destiny content so I have never experienced coming back and noticing those flaws where bungie fails to keep the player where they left off... I could see why new light players feel overwhelmed or understand the story now... Just last night I figure out Rasputin is fucking dead.. LIKE WHAT!!!

My biggest thing after not playing any of lightfall but buying it like 4 days ago on sale is, guardians need a massive nerf the game is way too easy. GMs are easy, raids are easy, everything but crucible(i suck) is just stupidly easy
Destiny 2 just sucks in every aspect, except the gameplay and a couple of the dlcs have solid storylines. Disgusted on what the Destiny franchise has become. Coming from Destiny 1 it pains me, immensely. I love how professionally you narrated this video though!
