Late to seeing this, but 1/2” custom cut acrylic is pretty expensive…the acrylic alone is at least half of the price if not more

Nice review. Fair as usual. I went the Moducase route when they first came out and am pleased overall. Glad another company is in the mix in creating display options for collectors.
I agree. I think this is an innovated way to display your collection. Moducase is great as well. At the end of day we have to do what works best for us.

Since it is acrylics, how much dust does it collect and how hard is it to clean ?
These things are way too expensive for what they are. Are the fronts open? Totally defeats the object of the unit if It doesn't keep the dust off! I've gone down the custom route and designed an Art Deco inspired display system that I've booked a shop fitting company to construct in my new statue room out of glass and steel, they're also fitting a custom lighting system. unfortunately this has been delayed due to CV-19 but It will look awesome when completed. Not cheap but will be far more impressive than a $700 plastic box, the lighting in this box is especially weak.
I hear you man. Thanks for checking out the video! They are expensive, but the cost of 1/2 inch acrylic like this would be very expensive. This is the prototype. The production piece comes with a sealed front to protect your collection from any dust. But like you said the custom route is very expensive as well. I spent close to 1k building my custom display. So its all relative I think.
@@MCECentral You're very welcome, an excellent review. At least It has a front, I thought It might for the price but wasn't totally sure. The custom route is very expensive, I agreed a price of around 12K for a room approximately 30 x 20 feet, but It's unique and I really wanted It to look like an Art Deco museum, It's my own fault 8-) I totally agree, the display makes the piece and everything is relative, as you say. Thank you.
I like it, but way too much for me. For that price, I'd rather build myself a custom display.
Is the height 25 or 30 inches?? Because on their website it states usable display dimension is 35″L x 25.5″H x 23″D. So Im just wondering cause I'd love to purchase one but I would need the correct measurements first.

Agree is expensive but you pay for quality. I priced out 1/2 inch acrylic to hold 100s of pounds and couldn't come close to this price.. Especially with cover and light box and machined acyrlic screws. A few stacked together look SICK! Can't wait to get mine.

Here is my thing..... I don’t mind the price but they for SURE would need to add more features to justify it! A switch to turn the lights on and off is a MUST and a way to connect/run a wire to connect other cases to control the lights from one switch is needed. My BIGGEST GRIPE is the open front! They need to be closed in and the case needs to be dust proof! I’m not spending 700 to hv to still dust every 2 weeks. I have other complaints as well but not trying to write a book on here. I see a lot of people complaining about the price but is the price or what you’re getting for the price? I find it strange that so many collectors I see on TH-cam or Instagram will have over $20k worth of statues and not really invest in a great way to display them or even really get creative in how they display them.
They priced most collectors out of it. The integrated turntable is a nice feature though.
Just buy one on amazon for cheaper and make a custom dysplay and do can make the same or better for less money

Love my Moducases get custom sizes done all the time for a better price. But always good to have other options.
Pretty nice but for the price you shouldn't have to buy another case to get light from the top. Should come with light on top not the bottom for people who dont buy multiple.
I can see big name vendors at comic conventions using these displays for their merch.
cool displays, but damn that price. for 100-200 more i can actually get a custom made showcase with high quality glass. i have moducases atm cost me about 1500 for a full setup, 6 cases, and that is pretty cheap for what you get in my opinion. these legendary display have a cool design to them, look really well done. but for what they are, the price is little bit out there in my opinion. still hope they sell well, the creator seems like a nice guy and is putting a lot of effort towards this.

Are all the models open front?
No, I forgot to mention that. The new models actually have closed fronts. So you will be able to seal the collectibles inside to prevent dust.
I think I remembered seeing Gem mint that did a video on it but I agree with most of the other comments it's a bit expensive. Maybe I should buy a fish tank 😂 and put an Aquaman statue inside 🤣
