Kitchen catches fire
All Ray can think of to say is,
"My tissues!" 😂
It shows what he only care about. :)
@@Zodroo_Tintyea, he only cares about proving his stupi point
Most men would worry about their family's safety by Ray only cares about his issues first he try.s to put the fire out with his drink and when that doesn't work he tries the world's dumbest hose
This was pure comedy gold 😂
Remember last season where Debra said Ray was useless in an emergency?
Well she was proven right again in this episode.
Do you remember the episode?
@@Zodroo_Tint yes I do, Ray did take a splinter out of her foot.
@@Stoneman180190 I ment the title or the episode number? :)

Those tissues were just not meant to be!! And neither was the kitchen!! LOL!!
Wish the fire had been bigger to make them have to remodel that horrendous looking kitchen lol
this is the last time I blew my nose in this house
there goes my Saturday night😂
Love this show, brilliant writers and Rays life 😂
4:00 Debra saved the day! Good thing Marie wasn't there when she sees Debra using fire extinguisher to stop the fire in the kitchen. She might think she was cooking and endangering the children and Raymond.
Wait until Ray's mother visits. I guarantee Marie will say something about Debra's cooking!!😂😂😂
Nah the fire will be Deborah fault. Not her precious Raymond's
Yep. Marie will slobber him with hugs and kisses just like she did when she beat it out of Frank that Ray had trouble waking up from the anesthesia, but then a doctor said he was fine.
Ray sure loves to be mothered and waited on. Can see why. It’s better than fulfilling marital obligations and parenting responsibilities right?🤷♂️😁
Anyone that stays that way as a grown grown man needs a good kick in the pants.
Go Debra!!😂❤😂❤
Ray is such a baby! 😂
And complaining
Baby’s are more useful and mature.
Such a mama's boy.
Like Robert once told Raymond, "Gotta get out more my brother!!" 😂😂
I love the way debra slowly looks at ray is priceless 😂😂😂😂😂 4:27
Debra definitely researched some divorce lawyers after this 😂
You cannot tell me that he could not smell the fire when he has that nose.
Hold up 💀
Thats because (no matter what they say) they are...... TURKISH of descent!
What was there to smell?
The fire created absolutely no smoke at all like it should have.
Big nose, and still nose blind.
What an unpleasant comment, you must be perfect, you don’t even have a profile picture but I can imagine why 😂😂😂
Raymond started the fire! 🔥 😃
Use the ant spray a moment ago and its mixes with oils and herbs. That’s how it causes the fire and he did not wipe it off the stove.
@@jonathancruz5932 And he left a paper towel or something half sitting on the stove.
U got ripped off my brother 😅😅😅
Ray grabbed the shortest hose. Lol 😂
LOVE THIS EPISODE 😅😂😂😂😂
There's a reason why Debra calls Ray an idiot 😊 maybe Barone is Italian for idiot.
Debra kickin ass.
Man child sets the house on fire and doesn’t know where the fire extinguisher is because he never helps around the house… and to top it all off causes water damage 😂
@willow, he is NOT man child and he does help when he can around house! Don't pick on my Raymond! Just stop watching reruns of the show already!
@@lauracooper2526 twenty nine people agree with me so far… and I’m entitled to my opinion. You have no authority over me so I shall watch the show as I please. Also, get a life. You care way too much about this.😂
@lauracooper2526 Your Raymond, your Raymond It's TV show, the actor is married to someone else, not you, so stop saying my Raymond he is not your husband in real life or in the show
GET OUT OF THE WAY haha
*3:06**-**4:56*
Apparently
In reality, Raymond didn’t know there was going to be fire on the scene that’s why he stood like that
😯
i'm not cleaning that up 😅
I love a girl who is prepared
Funny..Debra had to save the day!
3:16 my tissues 🤣😆
1:33 DON'T CALL THEM DAMN TISSUES!
He doesnt ever help out around the house, doesn't spend quality time with his kids, man child, doesnt stand up to his parents to defend Debra. He only does d bare minimum.
Now he's burned d house down!!
Sounds like a gud husband. 🙄🤣
He didn't burned the house down. Don't make up stuff!
Nothing serious happened, Debra got lucky, she got a reality check about Ray's usefulness during fire.
@@Zodroo_TintU r watchin a diff show ! Ray isn't useful in any stressful situation
@@ambika66681 Actually believes it or not, Ray isn't the worst example. He never cheated, provided for his family financially, always comes home to Debra no matter how crazy the family get and in his own way shown several times to be there for his family at the end of the day even if he do some questionable things. As much as he doesn't cares for the responsibility, he really does loves his wife and kids deeply at the end of the day. As Robert himself puts it, he wouldn't really trades this life for anything.
@@jfk-t9o Exactly, so he's doin d bare minimum. Still not a very gud husband 😕
@@ambika66681 Little things can sometimes mean a lot to a person. Here everything that I've noticed about these two over the years behind the fights. Ray have shown several times throughout the show to be comfortable in showing deep emotions or telling his wife some personal childhood stories that he doesn't usually do with others. He also got rid of his old childhood car just because it made Debra uncomfortable, reassures her that the babysitter wouldn't replaced the kids' love for her, got her job back after she got fired on her first day after initially being unsupported (which even Debra herself admits was very sweet even if she didn't takes the job back out of ashamed), set up an vow renewal on his own to makes up for taping over the wedding video, have shown times to care what Debra think of him, fought Frank to have Debra's initial house color for her, admits in front of all Robert's wedding guests that he still considers his wife to be the most beautiful girl in the world and wrote a touching letter in his newspaper column to makes up for forgetting to thanks Debra in his speech. Throughout the series Ray often takes the time to comes up with ton of creative or unusual nicknames for Debra. The fact that she barely bats her eyes over this show that she is used to this. He also is shown to occasionally to still be capable of making her laugh.
Meanwhile throughout the entire series Debra puts up with her in laws' antics for the sake of her love for her husband. She also often serves as her husband's confidant, is supportive of Ray's job even if he have to travel often, worries if their marriage is strong enough after her parents divorces each other and have times tries to convinces Ray to not let his parents get under his skin. She's a good wife. It is also shown that both are boring people who are all right with simply watching tv or going to the occasional movies or dinner together. The series finale especially show that Debra would in fact be an complete wreck without Ray being with her and no doubt he would be the same with her.
An minor sweet thing but while Ray and Debra may bickers often the one thing that they have always been in total agreement is that they are very careful in making sure that their kids don't get involves in the family arguments. It can be implies that on some level Ray is mindful enough to not want his kids to experiences the same thing he and Robert went through during their childhood. Also, we do need to remember that the show is showing their worst days because that what makes it interesting and funny. They had to have ton of good times together if the long-lived marriage is still going on strong underneath all the bickering. Ray do a good job in providing for his family and he is more involves with the kids than what is shown. Debra have made comments few times that she does in fact consider Ray to be a good husband and her biggest fear is losing him. He always comes home to her even if things are crazy around the house with the family. Lot of the times the fights are due to stress, annoyance or the heat of the moment. Their actual everyday relationship is probably more tame than what is shown. They get on each other nerves but there also nobody else than they rather be with. They're comfortable with each other and are able to get by the trials in the marriage. Isn't that what makes a marriage successful at the end of the day?
I think it is worth mentioning that as much as Ray can be frustrating at times or lazy about household chores, he is no idiot. He know what is going on with the family situation and is kinda in a hard place. He knows that his parents are nuts and difficult people and he know that mom isn't doing much favors for his wife. That is the love of his life and the mother of their children. Yet at the same time he still cares for his parents deep down meaning banning them permanently is out of the question. The thing is Frank and Marie are going to do what they want to do and Ray can't do much about their behavior. He and Debra just have to deal with it for the better or the worse. What he does do is show Debra that he loves her in other ways that may be small but probably actually means lot to her. Debra do recognizes this which is why she never left. She knows she got a good if bit imperfect husband who she loves dearly. She is truly Ray's light in this crazy family because she stuck around.
I also just realized that Ray himself actually was nowhere near as critical about Debra's job as a housewife as Marie was. Sure he may makes few jabs once in a while about her cooking (due to being spoiled rotted with perfection food while growing up) but outside of that he didn't seem to think she was even doing a bad job. He couldn't cares less if the house was a bit messy (which is honestly expected considering that they had three young kids running around the house, especially in the early seasons) instead of spotless. Also, outside of questioning few choices or opinions, he also seem normally confident that Debra is a good mother. He knows that she got her hands full with the kids and his parents while he is at work. He doesn't really expects her to be exactly like Marie in the role. He even tried to tell Marie that the family was doing fine when she made it sounds like they were living in such a horrible way in "Win Lose or Draw" which she did not listen. He flat out said in "Wallpapers" that he doesn't feels that Marie will listen to him which is the actual main reason why he doesn't wastes his breath with her. Sure, he may enjoys the attention and coddling on some level but he does know how she is. Selective obliviousness. Marie sees what she want to see which what makes it so frustrating to the rest of the family. She is so wrapped up in the image of Ray always needing her and that she is the only one who capable of taking care of him that the very idea that Ray himself may not want her over all of the time is practically foreign to her.
Ray and Debra aren't perfect or doing huge things for each other but you can still tell that they loves each other through little things. They takes the bad along with the good with each other. For Ray, could he stands his ground more and pick up more of a fight with his parents? Yeah. But if this been going on for years with little results then you do need to choose your battles. Could he tries to set up some kind of boundaries with his parents? Sure but who knows if they'll listen or actually follows through it. Could he tries to lighten Debra's load and stand up for her more? Yeah but honestly he can't do much about at least the parents' situation since they are going to do what they want to do. They just have to deal with the situation. As for Debra, could she be more understanding that Ray is in a hard place with his parents? Of course. Could she not focus on the little mistakes that he makes as much? Of course. Could she handles her emotions better? Of course. That is the point. They are real humans with flaws. They don't makes all of the right choices. They don't always appreciates the little things in life. They don't always say the right things. They can get bit nuts about few petty things. The show is a over dramatic about real situations that the writers had with their own families. It doesn't means that they don't loves them. So, it is not unreasonable to think that we're just seeing Ray and Debra at their worst on the bad days. The show would be pretty boring if they are always so loving and understanding with one another. Instead of focusing on the negatives why don't you look at this as inspiring and positive? Why not say wow, these two went through lot yet are still happily married at the end of the day?
2:22 good cook huh? A good cook should never leave paper near the lit stove.
You go Ray! 👍😆👍
❤😂😂 just like my family
You gotta admit man, Raymond could get pretty annoying with his damn moods sometimes throughout the seasons. Always a baby
Oh yeah. Big time.
Marie's fault
In fairness, in this scene, his family were being A-Holes
@@tombailey837 hey, they’re all A-holes. 🙂
He is such a selfish, arrogant mama's boy. He has his moments of "funny" but........
Poor Ray. Everyone thinks he is stupid because he writes himself badly in the scripts while giving the best (and heroic too) part to Patricia Heaton.
I doubt he write the epsiodes, it says the show is based on his comedy, this doesn't mean he writes them, even stand up comedians hire writers no way a tv show has only one writer and the writer is the main character.
@Zodroo_Tint He is one of the writers and has cowritten several episodes. So obviously like every sitcom it's written by a team, but he certainly does play a part in the writing, kind of like Jerry on Seinfeld.
Ray started the fire
Raymond was getting Salty.
🧂
That is the most smokless fire ever.
True. We had a small kitchen fire a few years back. A lot smaller than the one in this video and after putting it out the entire kitchen was filled up with the smoke almost instantly.
The fire was actually real, set on fire by the stove, lighting the tissue, which lit the flammable ant spray Ray sprayed the kitchen with earlier on. They talked about it on the DVD commentary. All one take. Though I believe they did it twice (it’s been awhile since I listened to the commentary). But it was all real, and it really had it be put out by Patricia Heaton.
I mean I'm sure they had all kinds of rigs to make sure the fire only spread as much and where it spread to.
This shows how much of a DH Ray is!!!!!!!
❤❤😂😂😂❤❤ Love it
Why didn’t he use the fire extinguisher
Probably doesn't know where it is!😂
@@bovnycccoperalover3579 Doubt he even knew they had one lol
Whats the story with the tissues
They were the ones with lotion. No one liked them. The family teased him for buying them.
He like a two year old on Adderall❤❤
Oh lord is Ray a waste of space lol. Bad purchases, bad decisions, bad awareness, etc

I don't like how TV displays husbands as incompetent fools
In this show everybody is displayed badly, this is one of those disfunctional family shows. You have to look for respectful strong male caharacters in other show.
Bingo!!!!! Hated this scene! To fully complete the writers narrative ... tht the women truimps the idiot man all Debra needed to do was carry Ray out in her hands , and him saying my hero (disgusting)🤦🏿

Me either. I think Cosby was the last show that showed a good wise dad & husband. Time to change that.
@@sandyjuntunen4088 Cosby show was proof that a TV family doesn't have to be a super dysfunctional family full of bad people to be funny.

I prefer the square box they take ip less room..
I prefer the square box, but not the lotion
Those tissues stink.

🔥🧯💧
A fire is not comedic.
I'm beginning to think Ray is neurodivergent.
Nobody is that stupid right?
hate ray
Stop watching these videos then, he is the main character.
Me too. I never like him
How can Ray be so stupid
That’s what happens when you go your whole life being spoiled; you can’t take criticism and when an emergency happens you don’t have any common sense on what to do.
His main character trait is he lives a fully sheltered life, his mommy helps him when he is in trouble and he is in his 40's. He is not stupid, he is just a child.
The phone dialog could use some work.. and the exorbitant cheers from the women for the extinguisher was a bit much
Robert is such a punchable character, he should have had multiple black eyes in the show
Are you one of those internet tough guys? The guy can't walk into the house without bending, he has his muscles appropriate to his hight, he would not be the one end with multiple black eyes.
@@Zodroo_Tint Although Ray held his own in the couple of fights he had with Robert
