To stop the triggers from always pressing down, all you have to do is put the adhesive tape where you are supposed to put it and then snap it on the trigger.
I don't think that slight gap is a flaw, it seems it's intended to be that way. This works in conjunction with the trigger stop to create a "hair trigger" effect. Obviously this is only going to work in shooters and you will want to take these off or use a different controller for racing games and such.

That gap is supposed to be there. The way the controller works, the r2 and l2 buttons, like pretty much every other button, are pressure sensitive. So if you push the r2 button for example in just a little, it won’t do anything, but as u push it further it does. So the trigger stops put it at the point where it’s just about to shoot if it moves any further

You are 100% correct. The whole reason these exist is to slightly depress the trigger so it takes less time to fully depress it. Giving it a sensation similar to L1 and R1. I was very confused when he was saying that was a bad thing. That's what the product is for! If you don't want that, then you don't want trigger stops. Still glad he showed that though, I was worried it was just going to be like a trigger extension. Now I know it will be serving the purpose that I want it to! So I can hit quicker, and more consistent shots!!
I placed a small piece of double sided tape at the bottom and installed, by putting the DS tape at the bottom it made it more snug so it doesn't fall out
No, trigger stops are mostly for shooters so it eleminates the extra delay of pressing the trigger fully down. In racing games you dont want that because you need to control your acceleration.
hum maybe once u apply the adhesive, it'll create a layer of thickness between the cap and the trigger, that'll bring the back of the cap slightly away from the base, and give the triggers enough room to set back to a fully released position and eliminate the little gap u have.

You then will only be able to push it in like half way trough (or where ever you glued them) Problems : -Dont super glue your own fingers AND dont touch your eyes before washing your hands real good, you can get blind!!!! -You cant take them off, so when playing a racing game, you cant put it in all the way so you can only drive half speed hahaha. So only do it if you are only playing shooters.

It clips onto my controller with bad stick drift and doest fall off but doesn't clip onto the no stick drift controller. I only can fit the R2 on my blue controller but it used to be able to have both.

Fuck a scuff i bought one & regret it not because the product is bad (I haven’t used it yet) just buy the Sony adapter for $60 on amazon with a brand new dual controller it’s over won’t have to worry about breaking a $250 product good luck
That's why you should use stuff as they come out of the box and stop adding third party items to it. If you are bad in online multilayer shooting games, this product will not make you better.

Sorry. We can’t agree with this assessment as the small gap depresses the triggers ever so slightly and affects a number of games.

Sadly no trick or secret no. You should be able to lift against the trigger (opposite direction).
