  • This is 3 of my Habits when im out shooting street photography. I am always on the lookout for new and interesting habits that will make my photography level up.
I take you with me on a trip to Oslo were we put the habits into action and i try to explain what i like and how i use them for my street shoots.
I use the fujifilm X-T5 with the 33mm f/1.4 lens from fujifilm on all of the images. Except from one or two frames, all photos are straight out of the camera and no cropping or straightening.
Recipes used are my own Colorchrome and Captn look black beauty. I also used Captn Look Street Romance for my in camera colorgrade on the footage not shot with my DJI 2 action camera.
Thank you for watching and enjoy your day.

Cool video. Looks nice and it suggests a street strategy that I’ve never heard of before. Going to check out your other stuff as well now. Cheers 🎉

We all have something to teach to those willing to learn whether we intend on it or not. Don't assume a position, you have no way of knowing.

At 1:53 subject should be on right and not walking out of frame. It would also balance the geometry, with a slight crop. At 4:25 click while subjects have light against darker background and will be walking towards the light, in my opinion would be perfect. Really like your photos, overall. Balance, light and rule of odds -- you're done. Oh yea, story always helps. Story for everyone is the hardest thing, though when that is not available, we go for what looks most pleasing -- the art and balance without the storyline. You take great photos. - Loren

Thank you Loren, I appreciate your words a lot. The frame at 1:53 I had burst on, but choose that shot because of the lines hitting the subject. I totally agree on the composition. My friend did the same shot with your advise, he is king (and had a lot cooler frame :) at 4:25 I just wanted to showcase the direction of light with the shadow hitting the wall, but as a frame I would take your advise 100% agree 😍- These comments makes me a better photographer, thank you very much for your words and your time 💚

    1) I watched this on the television rather than my phone like normal, boy have I been missing out! Catching up on my favourite TH-cam videos is now an event rather than a pastime!
    2) I love how in your first example of the L shaped subject and shadow, the Background is also in the L shape.
    3) Having spent a little time in Norway I now feel more connected to your videos for instance the logo of the auto glass company I recognised immediately!
    4) Great job on the water challenge!
    5) Loved that intro shot in the car UBER CINEMATIC!

It is so good to watch on the television. That's my fav also, really a different experience. So, what i am looking forward to is our next meet-up and next challenge. Any suggestions on the challenge? - Thank you man, getting that cinematic comment from you means a lot 🙌
