The power in Barnes voice is unbelievable- summer of 1980 was spent listening over and over again to the double live LP "swingshift" ......thats the best Cold chisel LP for me .

The drummer Steve Prestwich sang two songs in the Cold Chisel Ringside Concert.. Lovelight and a following song.. both worth seeing.. beautifully supported by Ian and Jimmy..
I have this song on my Spotify list from Chisel so it's regularly played. Ian Moss on guitar and vocals in the black shirt, then Don Walker on keys with the hat (whilst every member of Chisel has written songs, he wrote the majority). It is really one of the few times that I've seen his voice by itself and it was great. Then Jimmy in the white T-shirt and red banana. So good. That is why he's my favourite singer of all time. Another version by more Aussie Artists would be from a memorial concert of Andrew Durant from a band called Stars. They were from Adelaide where Jimmy grew up. More country rock sound. Is a pity the audio and video quality was not as good as their later videos. Looked like it was recorded by a few video cameras on the audience and similar for the audio.

After Cold Chisel broke up the first time, Don Walker fronted a band called Catfish. I used to own it on cassette. Not bad, very blues inspied.
Saw Catfish in '89 at the Manly Blues Festival.
