I’ve always wanted to do this trail but never had back up.
Laurel lakes has golden trout and feeds into convict lake.
I’ll be Mammoth in August. Hot tubs and fishing 👍🤙

@@HappyRockOffroad Roget that. I tried Laurel lakes by myself one time and did the same thing, turned around. Mostly because the sun was going down and i had no idea how much further it was. But with your video , I can see the trail and we will try again in August when we are back. Taking my fishing poles also. We just got a 2023 ranger lariat tremor also so we want to test it out. Next time your in mammoth try the hot tubs down in BLM.
If I go to a larger tire on my truck , it will be only a 33”. It needs to fit in my garage. 😊

This looks like a fun ride. I got the tremor package on my ranger. Took it up to the South Colony Trail head near Westcliffe, Co. It was fully capable. Only bashed my side rail once but probably because I was being stupid though. Lol

Very cool video it looks like it is keeping your suspension busy the whole time. Do you take extra gas ⛽️ with you ?

I usually do but not this time because the trail wasn't too long, it would've been smarter if I did as I was averaging 5 mpg

You aren’t using a level kit? Looks leveled. I drive a white one and want to do a similar setup. Nice video!

Hey, yes At the time I had a 1 inch level kit up front from rangerlifts. The clearance was still 9.7 to the rear diff. And all the weight on the bed pretty much made it leveled. Hope this helps!
