    First I like to thank you for all your super lectures, but I am confused at the part when val-6 are aggrerating. I think instead off aggregation between val-6 to val-88 and Phe-85 you should change val-88 to Leu-88. It's from my book so I will follow that but once again I appreciate your videos. The book is called Biochemistry 7th edition by Berg.

      alupian1 thanks for spreading the word! what book are you using? I am roughly following the outline i had and notes i took in college several years ago. so we might not have the same things in mind.

      No problem! Its difficult to find videos as easy to follow and understand as yours. Biochemistry is a dense course.

    Is sickle cell anemia can tranfer from parents to their affsprings? Plz must reply i m comfuse. Tnx u r very nice.

    • @michellekilcoyne5508
      @michellekilcoyne5508 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      sickle cell anemia occurs if an individual receives an abnormal gene from both the father and the mother and therefore is homozygous for the sickle cell gene. If a person receives only one abnormal copy of the gene, they are heterozygous for the genotype and are considered a "carrier". If they are a carrier, they can then pass the gene to their offspring as well. Hope that helped.
