- This 2005 Acura TL A-Spec looks like an average family sedan but don't be fooled, it packs a big punch! You'd better have something potent under your hood to mess with this Acura.
Mash the throttle and you're in for a big surprise; you hear a manic whine from the supercharger while being pushed into the back of the seat! It corners as well as it accelerates too.

• Dynod at 361hp at wheels, estimated 450hp at engine
• Engine built/tuned with bored 20 1,000ths, forged JE pistons
• Comptech supercharger with reduced diameter pulley
• Water to air intercooler and transmission cooler
• Polished and ported heads and plenum
• 1000cc fuel injectors
• Methanol Injection
• Haltec custom ECU controlling all engine dynamics
• Triple pressure fuel pump
• Tein coilover struts, height & ride adjustable with cabin ride controller
• Custom engine stabilizer strut
• Stainless exhaust system with MagnaFlow mufflers

The Speed Addiction okay kool that’s if you can. A-spec is a rare car. I saw A-spec for sell but it was the automatic. I drove the 6-speed and like it better but by the time I came back to buy it. The dealership I was at sold it.

There is a TL Type S offer in 07-08 that offer a 3.5 liter engine with 286 hp and re-tuned suspension.

Great video but the 3G TL isn't the closest thing we got to the accord type R. We also have the North American version of the accord type R called the CL9 Acura TSX. They look identical to each other except we didn't get the more refined tune and gearing in the accord type R. Great review nonetheless

Knowing how sketchy the 04 Automatic trans was, I have to ask do you have any info about the transmission? Cooler, converter, upgrades etc?
It has a transmission cooler, although I don’t know which one. Take a look at the video description for more information.

According to the owner, the car has a built motor with a significantly smaller supercharger pulley. Also running on Methanol/91 mix ~375 whp

Ya I thought the supercharger was not developed. It might be the Accord supercharger. I want one for tl sh awd.

Comptech folded, came back as CT Engineering and folded again, however, I believe it's been re-reformed, but only with Acura NSX performance parts in mind. You see the Comptech or CT superchargers for TLs used online from time to time . Some amount of Comptech/CT Engineering's proprietary was bought by Heeltoe Automotive, but I don't believe there are plans to revive the superchargers.
