I have been wanting these boots ever since redwing released 3424 a couple years ago. I was able to cop the the 9874 black klondike. I wear a size 11 mens and if redwing would have made the 3424 in my size I would have picked them up. However, the Billy boot in the black klondike is even better and 50 dollars cheaper. Thank you redwing these boots are fire. They are a 40th birthday gift from my wife. I will be wearing these for a long time.
I couldn’t pull the trigger on these since I already own the 6” version (9874). So glad I didn’t since I soon discovered the Red Wing X Todd Snyder Moc’s, in Copper & Charcoal. Purchased both... the best red wing moc’s on the market! 👍
I don't want to say it, because I love the gold russet... but these may be my new favorites! I am seriously considering sending my 9877 in to have the speedhooks put in. Great touch to the 8 inch boot!

Just ordered the last pair they had at the shop, size 8. I own a pair of 1907’s size 7.5 and they where to small but after stretching they are oké with thin socks. I have a pair of Iron Rangers size 8 and they fit good with thick socks. With thin socks they run a bit large.... I really hope the billy boot wil fit. Red Wings and their size will always be a thing for me....
Toe Wai Aung there were only a select amount of size 7 and a handful of size 7.5. It’s gonna be super tough to get your hands on the size you are looking for. I have a 7.5 brand new still

Do you know how many Billy Boots were made? My 🦄 Billy Boot is labeled 282 out of 373. Does that mean only 373 were made? Makes it extra special compare to the 4328 which made 600...

Nice boots! The black color on these is amazing live. By the way which shoe trees do you use with 8” Red Wings? Couldn’t find any info online. Are the regular 6” shoe trees fine with these?
CJ Cook which explains why you say you one foot gets "murdered" during break in on moc toes. Boots are not made to have your toes right close to the end of a toe box. Best advice is to start ttbs than go from there and try them on/ get measured in store.
It's just leather and a piece of rubber stitched to the bottom. While I see the appreciation for the boot. It's just a work boot. I don't know how something like this would fare in the mud and snowy slush though. I think heritage work boots are looked at way too fondly as if they are goat skin or some sort of exotic roper with a conquistador heel. Which is way more defining in masculinity and distinguishable such as The Duke of Wellington. All in all I feel like the fad for heritage type work boots looks like a bunch of fetishist to me.

I would suggest getting measured at a red wing store. If you are not able... usually one size down from Nike works.
