The bustling place is an endless expanse of leather, sewing machines, stitching and hot wax thread and has been producing workwear for over 100 years. Renowned for their sturdy boots, the team at Red Wing gave us a behind-the-scenes peek at how the durable footwear is composed by a handful of skilled craftspeople.

I been consuming redwing boots for 13 years now. I m a cable technician and I couldn't ask for a better boots. I love my climbing steel toes for work and my 1907's for the weekend. Thank you redwing!
I've absolutely love RW. I own two pairs (iorn ranger)(blacksmith). I'm a big time traveler. I've been to 13 countries and have truly put them to the test in the most dynamic environments. I do take care of them but dont baby them at all if that makes sense and they are simply bulletproof. They still look great and have the character and charm of 10yrs of world travel.
7 years wearing redwing safety boot, i still can smell the leather. Feels so good.
I am from Mexico, now resident in Germany. This shoes 👞 got to be the best made US American shoes. I am looking to buy my next pair and wear them till I go to heaven.

I have had many pair , (well, not so many as they hardly ever wear out) , over the years and i will gladly pay more if that’s what it takes to maintain quality.
I love these boots! When I wear down my new soles, I will definitely send them back to red wing instead. Not all cobblers use that type of cork that red wing uses. Really makes a difference in the feel and comfort.

Rwing Shoes are great! I weare Beckman and Chelsa Ranger. I like it very much that Red Wing Shoes are still really "Made in USA". For that even here in Gamany i am willing to pay the price, though all American Podukta are too expensive in our country: A pair of Beckmans cost 349 Euro here! Greet from Germany.

Telephone poles suck LOL I will see your people work on utility poles, I was a utility pole inspector for a few years I'm was talk the word telephone pole as bad slang word.
Since I started working as a sales associate for red wing I can't bring myself to wear anything else. They are by far the most beautiful looking and most comfortable boots on the market.

I worked for Red Wing in California,Washington,Texas.
I was a die hard employee and I know the boots inside out. Even after quitting the shoe dog business and taking up oilfield work I continued to purcase a new pair every two years.
With that being said I will never purchase another pair of Red Wing Boots. The heritage lines price point is absolutely absurd. And you as a company have pushed aside the workers that the boots were initially created for in favor of a freaking fashion movement based on a group of people that don't know the difference between a Phillip's and a Flathead!

I use to buy nothing but Red Wing boots. Not anymore. I've been buying nothing but Thorogood Boots for 10 years now. Union made and made in the good old USA....👍. Plus it's a way better and more comfortable boot

I would love a pair of red wings but I just can't bring myself to spend my money on them.
There's plenty at Nordstrom right now for about $150! Definitely worth the investment: made in USA, and goodyear welt. Think about it. If it lasts you 5 years, you're investing only $30 a year, which is hardly anything.

ManOfTheDerp have someone proxy for you, tons of fashion forums where people will buy the shoe for you and ship them to you for a small fee($10-15) which is much better that the EU price skyrocket

I don't see Thorogood as their competition. Thorogood is more affordable, better looking and more proud to be American union made keeping blue collar workers in mind. Thorogood is employee owned. That's a whole different mindset.

I know this guy talking crap on video all red wings are made in the USA is bullshit. I have a pair to and they were maid in China. It clearly states on there website some shoes are made in the USA and some in China. I don't get why he is trying to put down Thorogood because they put a USA tag on there boots. There boots are just as good and truly made in the USA. Red wings go back to your roots and become classy again and not bank on the name. Keep it in the USA and don't talk bad about another great fellow USA brand like Thorogood.
There are two lines of Red Wings - Heritage and Work. The work line is largely made in the USA, and the Heritage line is 100% made in the USA. 100+ styles on the work side are US made, and 60+ Heritage styles.
