So maybe he/she hoped that he/she'd be reborn in a better life. 3: Frisk hoped he/she could start a new life with the Monsters if he/she survived(if you play the True Pacifist Route)

They're yellow so that the player can think of the Frisk as any race that they want, allowing the player to make up their own story for Frisk. It's like how Toby didn't give Frisk a gender so the player can think of Frisk as whatever they want.

Yeah, I know you were trying to get Underlab to cover it, but since there are a lot of comments asking about it or calling Frisk a giraffe I thought I should give someone some kind of explanation. A few explanations for why Chara's white would be to differentiate between them and Frisk or because dead people are often paler than they are in life. Also when you say Toby never said this, are you talking about my explanation or Toby talking about Frisk's gender?
It been accepted by the majority of Undertale fans that while Frisk is alive, it's possible that Chara was buried on that bed of flowers Frisk falls upon when Toriel left Asgore (taking Chara's body without telling Asgore), and because of their similar souls, Chara's soul became bound to Frisk's person. This could explain the third person view we get of Frisk when we're not fighting or dating: if Chara was watching over Frisk's shoulder the entirety of the game, that would mean that Chara was narrating everything Frisk does and interacts with, as well as influence Chara's personality. We know that Chara somewhat twisted since they came to the underground to leave humanity behind, as well as recent the human race, but according to a theory video about Chara which have been done by someone else; Chara can be influenced to become a psychopath and thus will take possession of Frisk's body during a genocide route when the player have lost control. It's also possible that if Chara reached a good ending, Chara has finally detached themselves from Frisk and we, the player, force Chara to reset the game as indicated by Flowery's conversation with us before we make a true reset. Though there's also speculation that in an alternate timeline, should Frisk choose genocide, by the time we reach the throne room, Chara will have just enough power to revive themselves from the dead and will show up just when Frisk finishes the job.

Chara disappeared one day and Frisk and her family were told that Chara died. Frisk then became pretty depressed. Chara and Frisk were like buddies. Frisk wanted to fall down and kill herself. The flowers saved her. Toriel then showed her kindness by saving her from Flowey. Frisk then became a pacifist. That's the backstory of the story, Idk tho.
I really think Frisk's clothes are their pajamas and they just put on shoes to run away in the night afther their gaurdian was horrible again, ye like in an abusive parent relationship... so they don't mind not going home again (I realised that I've had such one-colour-pjs as a kid so I drew a comparisment)

* Why would Frisk attempting suicide mean they did not have much Determination? The fall didn't kill them, which would mean they would never be forced to Reset, and being trapped in the mountain may have been seen as an improvement compared to whatever their life was before, so they'd have no reason to reset or resort to an earlier save. * While the soul shattering is odd, you are still able to make use of Determination to save and reset after being killed, so this being a point against Frisk's Determination not being her own seems a bit flimsy. * Slightly off-topic: how much is Determination tied to Souls? We know one needs the body and soul of a Human to be able to handle it (especially in large amounts), as monster bodies are too easily warped by determination (unless they are a Boss). However, we've seen that determination can be extracted from Souls, and that beings without souls (Flowey) can also handle Determination without breaking down.
I have a question: when we "kill" sans during the genocide path... we cant see him dying, but we can hear his body evaporate when he leaves the screen. But, we cant hear his soul destroyed, which means that he would probably have determination and may even be a human... (sorry for my shitty english)

Actually, I have two theories. Good ending: Frisk survived and met their family again. Bad ending: Frisk kinda did survived the free fall BUT all the adventures are their hallucinations, and the ending part them died

chara's plan was that when Chara ate buttercup, Asriel had to take her soul. the humans saw Asriel holding Chara's dead body so the humans attacked Asriel and he had to turn back. when he got back, he died and Chara too.

This sort of reminds me of the plot of an RPG Maker game called Blank Dream. Warning: Some minor spoilers for Blank Dream ahead. In it, you play as a girl who drowns herself in a lake made famous from the number of suicides and do it for the exact same reason as one of the earlier people who commit suicide at it, that being wanting to erase herself from existence. the part about the “mainchara” thing that i find intriguing is that it seems like a hint to who is the main character. if “chara” in that situation is short for “main character” then charas name could be a nod to the fact that chara is indeed the main character. which leads me to wonder: what color and trait would frisks soul be?
I think Asriel was correct, and Frisk did indeed want to either die, or flee the cruelty of the world. Thus, I sent them with at least one loving parent in Toriel. Perhaps they really are a 'second chance' from Chara, a true reincarnation, but then we have another question... who is the player in all this? Do we exist in the fiction? A silent, unseen force pushing characters forward, for our own entertainment? Sounds a little bit like a certain force that affects human SOULS.

OMG I know! Frisk is Chinese and grew up in a strict Confucian society in China. Confucianism focuses on not externally displaying individual emotions, so it is clear why he keeps a straight face all the time! Asian culture upbringing! Undertale probably starts off in a medieval time period (probably 14th century Ming dynasty) at the beginning of Undertale, because they show that humans and monsters fought with swords and magic staff and armour! Also, some theorists said that the monsters lived for hundreds of years trapped underground (because of electronic garbage that falls from above the surface into Waterfall), so this means that Frisk was born and fell underground in the period of the modern "Republic of China". But that's just my own brain going wild! Linking Undertale and history is fun! Any disagreements to my theory are welcome :D

My theory? Frisk = the Body Chara = the Mind (how do people STILL miss that Chara is the source of ALL the flavor text in the game?) The Anomaly (the Player) = the Determination. I think Frisk is a homunculus (artificial human) created to embody Determination--the force that enables control of the Undertale timeline (but that's getting into serious plothole territory, like Gaster and his potential human experimentation).
One thing that we cannot forget is that Chara is us. Not a separate character, us. The darker, evil side of us that all of us have. So here's my theory. Since Chara only shows up on the genocide run, and asriel only shows up on the true pacifist run, what if they are two opposites, Chara being pure evil and asriel being pure good. Perhaps each of them influence Frisk, and together those three represent us and the constant battle between making the right and wrong choice in our heads. When we see Chara, they look purely evil. Asriel on the other hand looks entirely innocent after the fight. So maybe that's why Frisk looks so expressionless? They have no inclination either way, and they are us, constantly deciding between the two options. This is pretty half baked, but I'm hoping you can make this a video if you can find enough evidence for it. I am a patron, if that helps my chances at all! 😊

* Why would Frisk attempting suicide mean they did not have much Determination? The fall didn't kill them, which would mean they would never be forced to Reset, and being trapped in the mountain may have been seen as an improvement compared to whatever their life was before, so they'd have no reason to reset or resort to an earlier save.
* While the soul shattering is odd, you are still able to make use of Determination to save and reset after being killed, so this being a point against Frisk's Determination not being her own seems a bit flimsy.
* Slightly off-topic: how much is Determination tied to Souls? We know one needs the body and soul of a Human to be able to handle it (especially in large amounts), as monster bodies are too easily warped by determination (unless they are a Boss). However, we've seen that determination can be extracted from Souls, and that beings without souls (Flowey) can also handle Determination without breaking down.

I think Asriel was correct, and Frisk did indeed want to either die, or flee the cruelty of the world. Thus, I sent them with at least one loving parent in Toriel. Perhaps they really are a 'second chance' from Chara, a true reincarnation, but then we have another question... who is the player in all this? Do we exist in the fiction? A silent, unseen force pushing characters forward, for our own entertainment? Sounds a little bit like a certain force that affects human SOULS.

Undertale probably starts off in a medieval time period (probably 14th century Ming dynasty) at the beginning of Undertale, because they show that humans and monsters fought with swords and magic staff and armour!
Also, some theorists said that the monsters lived for hundreds of years trapped underground (because of electronic garbage that falls from above the surface into Waterfall), so this means that Frisk was born and fell underground in the period of the modern "Republic of China".

One thing that we cannot forget is that Chara is us. Not a separate character, us. The darker, evil side of us that all of us have. So here's my theory. Since Chara only shows up on the genocide run, and asriel only shows up on the true pacifist run, what if they are two opposites, Chara being pure evil and asriel being pure good. Perhaps each of them influence Frisk, and together those three represent us and the constant battle between making the right and wrong choice in our heads. When we see Chara, they look purely evil. Asriel on the other hand looks entirely innocent after the fight. So maybe that's why Frisk looks so expressionless? They have no inclination either way, and they are us, constantly deciding between the two options. This is pretty half baked, but I'm hoping you can make this a video if you can find enough evidence for it. I am a patron, if that helps my chances at all! 😊
