SO TRUE about missing out on new friendships by bitching about people. there's this girl from school that i kind of made judgments about based on things that i've observed during class, but i've been talking to her more recently and realized she's actually great. basically, just don't judge people before you get to know them

I'm not a girl but, I would tell my 16 year old self to stop over thinking situations and not to be such a weenie about asking a girl out. First world problems I guess... Life is short... Moments, friends and relationships come and go but you should learn from every experience, good or bad, even if it's your friends experience, be wise!! Know when to fight and know when to let go! It's never a bad thing to fail, as long as you gain some insight from it. In retrospect I wouldn't change a thing, because I wouldn't be the person I am today... Love your self without a big ego! You inspire a lot of people Anna, keep it up!
Ohh man, I needed to hear that now. I dropped out of college yesterday. I'm on a lookout for a job now and hell do I hope I'm going to learn from it and gain some amazing insight I would've never gotten had I stayed and pursued this dead-end subject. Hope I get some wisdom the disciplined students won't while staying in class and cramming for exams. (Today though, I still wish I was one of them.)

Andrea Gonzalez People of all ages have dealt with depression and other mental illness for a long time. It's only now that we as a culture have begun to accept it as a condition and people are able to speak about it without shame and get the help they need. It's not just some shit angsty teens deal with, it's a very serious issue.

sometimes when you're in a relationship you tend to take less care of yourself because you're confident that there's someone that loves you the way you are and think that you don't necessarily need to put on makeup, do your hair all the time, or go to the gym to fight that little belly. when you break up, you again will have to impress other people with your appearance.

women and men go through different stages after a break up. The large majority of us don't really give a shit that shes doing that because we understand what its like to go through it. women go through a deep thinking moment, crying and being sad in the first stage whilst men just go party. Things are generally better in the end for women because we processed through all the negativity and we are left with mostly positive aspirations (which anna is full of if you have not noticed) and new life lessons

Feels great to know that, back in my teenage days, I had all these pearls of wisdom which you shared. I am almost 30 now and looking back, I am glad that I chose to be bold, brave and self-loving. My life has panned out exactly the way I have wanted it to. Yay! You are goddamn right with those points, Anna. To live life on your terms, your own rules, is the key to a low-drama yet an eventful life. It will also ward off unnecessary dramatic people and help you gain quality people and experiences in your life.
