This works great this is the only video i could find that had a knob thank you
Worked like a charm thanks!😊
Thanks, simple and to the point!
Is there a way to do it without a scanner/tool?
There is a difference between programming and relearning a TPM sensor.
Thanks broooo👍
What if it doesn’t beep when I scan it, after putting it in the relearning mode, what does that mean? The sensors I bought aren’t compatible with the truck??
@@2.Suave02 it the vehicle honk when you placed in into the relearn mode? If so, then it can either mean one the sensors you got are not compatible or the receiver on that wheel is bad. If none are beeping, I would also test to your scanner on another vehicle to verify it’s working.
Thanks very much!
Thank you 🙏
Thank so much

This is a s how to reset not reprogram, my truck won’t sync to new sensor and there is no info on how to actual program a new sensor so the truck recognizes it
I bought a 19 dollar tpms sensors programming tool off of Amazon....let's see if it works!!!
Can you do it without the tool?
steven barton I’m not sure if you can without one... but I know you can pick one up for cheap at most auto parts store.
@@MAGSHowToVideos I tried to do it last night at a gas station without the tool and found out that I can't. I spent some time reading the owner's manual then I found out I have to have the relearn tool. I will definitely be getting one.
Doesn't work for me on my 2018 Chevy Silverado 1500 Crew cab. It does not have the little knob on the window
If you don’t have the selector knob on your instrument cluster (your gauges) than you most likely have a model with the selector buttons built into the left side of the steering wheel. Using that button you should be able select you tire pressures and reset them the same way shown in this video.
Can you do a video if they arnt reading correctly
If the sensors have been reprogrammed and are not reading correctly then you’ll most likely have to replace the sensor.
Thanks but maybe start with what tools you need first.
You don’t have to use a 1500 or $2000 gadget like he has on GM vehicle Z can actually use your key fob
Ok Mr. Vague. Tell us how!
@@NGCGDGIG totally vague.
it's kind of misleading because if the title says how to reprogram you would expect the reprogramming or the relearning to be the same thing. if you need a scan tool then you might as well just go back to the dealership and get it done because none of these mechanics out here seem to know how it's done.
this is relearning ? not reprogramming
Multiple relearn tools and still cant get it to work. I dont know what is going on.
Does your dash show a psi reading for all 4 tires? If not you might have a broken or faulty sensor.
@@MAGSHowToVideos no. 4 lines where psi should be. Im taking it to dealer this week.
not good for me, or the MILLIONS of owners that DO NOT HAVE a TPMS programing tool.
You don’t have to have a supper fancy tool like the one I used in this video. You can get a cheap $10-$15 programming tool online or at a auto part store.
Breaks out the scanner. At least don't waste our time. You know what you did.
Saying I wasted your time because I used a scan tool to relearn the sensors is the same as saying I wasted your time showing you how to perform a oil change because a used a wrench. It’s not my fault that Chevy requires as scan tool to relearn the sensors. You don’t need a fancy scan tool like the one I used. A generic scan tool that runs for $15-$20 should also work. You know what you did!
@MAGSHowToVideos No, you're right. I was impatient and thought it would have been simpler. Was caught off guard when you broke out a fkn snap-on scanner, and I was like bro, at least tell me in the title, so I can just skip. But, after I wrote and you wrote back, I though, man who am I. I do the same dumb crap in my videos. I assume everyone has what I have, to do what I do. Take care. That wasn't very Christian of me.
No. No good for 3500hd. Don't bother with this video
That didnt help me
Sorry to hear that if you come across something that works I would love to know so I can add it to the video. Thanks for watching!
@@MAGSHowToVideos Read the other comments, they all ask the same question/comment, is there a way to do it without the scanner tool?
