Turns out there are a couple of stuff that I missed (thank you to everyone who commented about the stuff I've missed!), so I'll keep this comment pinned to add the stuff that anyone brings up. I will do my best to keep this comment updated for any other reference that I have missed. For now, the references that I missed include the following: -The jewelry shown during Luffy, Chopper, and Jimbei's scene is also a reference to Bonney's devil fruit with how a person's age is manifested as jewelry in the temporary state of time. (Chapter 1072) -In the portion of child Sentomaru Kizaru's finger beam, a silhouette of the destroyed Vegaforce 0-1 can be seen. It's a result of Kizaru kicking Luffy away from the Stratosphere and subsequently landing right into the laser field. (Chapter 1092) -In the Satellites rotation portion, the scene references how some of the Satellities interact with each such as Lilith and Shaka for instance. (Chapter 1071) -I made an error regarding the debut outfits for Usopp, Robin, and Brook's Punk Hazard outfits, which first appeared in Chapter 662 (same as Zoro and Luffy). The error came from me not differentiating the text portion of the chapter debuts with Chopper, Sanji, and Franky's Punk Hazard outfits. I am not certain yet if I want to do something like this with the other openings, but if you do like this video and format, I am doing something similar with Pirate Warriors 4 and their anime/manga references if you want to take a look at it: th-cam.com/play/PL9sFjjQRFmiAgI-7LjozTeI1PDOpeImcT.html
I'd like to add another one: 0:38, where you have Vegaforce-01 carrying the Thousand Sunny, several shapes can be seen under the waves. These are referencing the multiple sea beast robots that guard Egghead against intruders.
The jewelry we see during Luffy, Chopper and Jinbei's scene as well as after Seraphim Snake's scene but before Luffy's outfit scene is also a reference to Bonney's Devil Fruit affect of transforming a person's years into physical form. We see it when Bonney first attacks Vegapunk and deages him into a child.
Honestly I doubt if anime only's are gonna actually understand what's happening. When you have the context of the manga it's easy to make connections, but when you don't, you're likely unable to.
i absolutely love how detailed this op is. I didnt even notice half the stuff after watching it 3 times. thanks for this video its really well done and helpful
7:06 clever cuts you’ve might’ve missed, but, for aspiring creative artists: -Sabo struggles up from imu’s attack -The pirates stumble down in defeat of their respective opponents -Koby rises up and begins to lunge towards the overwhelming island
Great video, but one you missed was a frame of Kizaru's finger beam, in the middle of the frame we see a silhouette of the destroyed vegaforce robot, after Luffy was shot through him
S-Shark's glowing eyes when he falls into the water reference that he was the silhouette with glowing eyes taking out the transponder snails on York's orders.
2:47 no es eso, lo que se muestra en el opening es cuando kizaru está volando hacia el labo phase desde una perspectiva desde abajo ya que él es el primero en llegar
@@durk2392 there have been multiple scenes expecially in the anime where you can see people that aren't even remotely close to conqueror's haki like sanji still having the black lightnings in their attacks, the only "questionable" is jimbe vs who's who since him having conqueror wouldn't be that surprising but it was never proven

This video is awesome, thanks for all your hard work

Yeah and it gets more evident when you realize that the dots and white background behind the jewelry is meant to represent Vegapunk's shirt
the animators: how many spoilers should we put in the opening this time?
the director: yes.
Seriously, they literally included almost every scene in the arc so far 😂

@@Thomas48484 agreed it would mostly be out of context images other than knowing who fights who

This is a treat for manga readers but a threat for anime onlys 😂

No, herohansel321 was referring to 3:10
holy shit I did not expect you to find manga panels for each of the outfits in that one bit lol, but it was interresting to watch!
3:10 its luffy get kicked by kizaru
S-Shark's glowing eyes when he falls into the water reference that he was the silhouette with glowing eyes taking out the transponder snails on York's orders.
nice work man
Yooooo thanks for making this i was looking for a video that would showcase all the references and you made a pretty great one!
0:39 nobody seems to notice the 5 elders in the water below the sunny
Those aren't the elders, they're the Sea Beast Weapons that surrounded the ship in chapter 1062.
sea beasts
in the background on 2:30 it shows the flower gun
Is it new ❤on 2024 One piece so spoiled 😅
The way Lilith stands with 01 guy is also a reference to some panel from some chapter which i forgor.
The Lilith and Shaka thing in the "character selection" screen _does_ have a manga base tho
0:01 this scene is a reference to the fact that the Straw Hats went to Egghead in a boat
Yeah they know someone gonna slow down the intro just to see these over detailed references
2:47 no es eso, lo que se muestra en el opening es cuando kizaru está volando hacia el labo phase desde una perspectiva desde abajo ya que él es el primero en llegar
black lightning = conqueror's haki. So that clash between lucci and luffy is conqueror's
It hasnt been like that anymore for quite a while
@piranhazzzzz I don't think so but I'm willing to be proven incorrect if you have some sources.
@piranhazzzzz okay... but in the manga, black lightning = conquerors haki. And Lucci vs luffy is 100% conquerors haki in the manga.
@@durk2392yeah the anime's use of haki especially in Wano is really questionable, they straight up had dragon ball auras and stuff going on
The Only reason why I hate watching Anime op is because they literally spoil the arc.
AVOID THIS: ANIME ONLYSS!
