i don't think we should be selling the studio version short other than the paneling being really zoomed in. Gear 5 was meant to be cartoonish. that was the whole idea behind the joyboy thing in the first place.

They do good animation. It's just they stretch it out a lot, add extra scenes, random long shots, etc. Unlike Demon Slayer who did really well to just do the fight with no random 8 second shot of the character's face every minute.

Cause realistically while so much time passes for the readers, it’s easy to forget how fast time passes in the manga, heck the onigashima raid made up 72 chapters which took oda 1 year 5 months and 16 days to draw. The raid was a SINGLE night 😂. Still amazing to see the fight in real time

For real, the haki effects in the anime have got to be the dumbest things ever made. Why cant it just be wind-based, sort of like strong winds, like when Shanks got on WB's ship? That shit was fire
