I remember back when Don Creig said how Mihawk destroyed entire ships on his own and it sounded so badass. Now I'm seeing a single person destroying an entire island it's just astonishing.
Toei ruined it, it was supposed to be a haki Shockwave covering the town and destroying the buildings from the inside, haki was infused heavily and could be seen in the ground in the shockwave Toei turned it into an atomic bomb with the explosion starting from the middle , protruding outwards and destroying the buildings. They also turned garp into a cartoony sketch pad drawing while executing it, some people are heavily impressed with this poor Animation style.
People might call me an idiot for this, but for me this is actually better than the original. I don't know why man but Toei always have the worst possible direction. They spend so much budget yet somehow fumble the bag. I'm genuinely fucking depressed at this point because One Piece is my favorite anime of all time and I can't even feel the hype anymore. If Galaxy Impact had a straight and simple animation, I would probably even get goosebumps.

I hope the remake of one piece uses jujitsu kaisen animators instead, since the onigashima raid the animation is hit and miss. Act one wano the animation was very good , then it just went downhill with way too much effects.
