they are not companies *for* women, they are companies that profit off of women. They are only *for* their shareholders. In a capitalist society, do not make the mistake of thinking a company is out for anything except to maximize profits. Some are just more nefarious than others
If its true that the Buffalo Bills football team donated to Trump's campaign and/or Project 2025 and related entities, NY State tax dollars need to be pulled immediately from them. The NFL claims to be a nonprofit organization that is politically neutral. Also NY Governor gave them $625 Million for a new stadium. Those tax dollars could have been directed towards the MTA to close their budget gap and reduce the congestion pricing that is now being collected.
On the Goods Unite Us app, I was shocked to see the NY Yankees donate 75% of their overall donations to the republicans as a NY team! Shameful! Smh! Never wearing their merch or going to a game ever again!
I think it might be just using the name, not necessarily using team funds. I would assume it's probably the owners using the team names, or a group of players using the team name for their collective donation. The Kansas City kicker, Harrison Butker (the anti-Semitic, anti-choice, anti-woman commencement speaker at Benedictine College) and Josh Hawley decided to spread their chauvinism via private plane supporting Drumpf on the campaign trail and I believe also started a PAC. Repulsive none the less. Either way, if I was a democratic member of those teams and found out I was being lumped in with the MAGA cult, I'd be raising hell. The NFL does have a group-think/lack of individuality reputation so this also could have just been a "we're doing this and that's final, no questions" situation. Remembering the hostility and backlash Colin Kaepernick endure for peacefully and silently protesting against police brutality, while Drumpf pardons insurrectionists who's actions have contributed to the deaths of multiple Capital Officers. The MAGA party's hypocrisy, and moreso the complete public dismissal and complicitcy about it is unbelievable vile. I was taught that hypocrisy illegitimizes any future arguments and defences that you may launch, but it seems some of us understand morals and values, while others don't believe those things contribute to the foundations of your character in the slightest.
As far as professional sports teams go, this list is not comprehensive. Even if the team as a franchise hasn’t supported Project 2025, have a look at the ownership of these teams. My Denver Broncos are co-owned by the Walton-Penner family (Walmart) and Condoleeza Rice, amongst others so take a guess where their money and support has gone…It’s more convoluted than this list but it’s a good place to start. Research any team or company that you have given lots of your money to over the years.

No thanks is solid, it's for palestine boycotts focused but a bunch of these companies listed are also on there!
Looks like I'm going Commando

The list is in the video description, Copy and paste to a google doc, then print.
There is an app for that. It's called goods unite us. You can search for any company. See how they're contributing. Look before you buy!
It took three shots to get it all, and it's easy to access, right here on my phone.
You can copy it. I did. I posted it on FB.
Repeal Citizens United.
That will never happen either Mitch McConnell's SC.
That is truly the root of all of this.

Dave Thomas would be very disappointed with his daughter. Goes to show how morals aren't always handed down from parents to child.
Bloody Norah. I’m in the UK🇬🇧, and will be boycotting any of those brands that are over here… The US tidal wave of doom has started heading across the globe - it’s everyone’s fight now.
Thank you. ❤
thank you 👏
Let’s stand shoulder to shoulder in this fight. Thank you for the support. I support you! And Canada. And Greenland. And Panama

Same for me in Australia.
When Wendy's and McDonald's troll other companies that they are "the best" now they can answer we did not donate to Project 2025.
Dave Thomas was an adoptee. He started The Dave Thomas Foundation, which supports adoption. Just an addendum.
@celiashen5490 Dave Thomas passed in 2002 and his daughter is in charge. Try that pretty stick somewhere else. P2025 is evil.
Burger King has always been the only good tasting option anyway...and the bonus...donate left-leaning.

Also Yum! Brands at the end, which includes Taco Bell, KFC, Pizza Hut, and Habit Burger & Grill.
Thanks! You just gave Canada a list of items to slap tariffs on. This will be boycotting these companies.

Old Dutch Foods donated!! 😢

As a woman, I am outraged at the companies that are for women. Just spent the last 30 minutes contacting many of these companies, asking if it is true. They don't care, I know. But it felt a little good to add a bit of flame to some of my emails. My personal boycott is on!
they are not companies *for* women, they are companies that profit off of women. They are only *for* their shareholders. In a capitalist society, do not make the mistake of thinking a company is out for anything except to maximize profits. Some are just more nefarious than others
@@PatriceTremor If you're looking for woman-owned companies, it looks like Anne Kelly still owns JunoActive, formerly Junonia.
Boycotts work!
The states shouldnt be funding sports teams at all, dont they make a ton of money with advertising, merch and ticket sales anyway?
@@A_Lion_In_The_Sun Ive always felt sports make and hoard too much damn money
At this point im practically boycotting pretty much everything, clothes thrifted, dont go out to eat, buying basic ingredients and cooking at home. Why participate? Literally everything everywhere gets more expensive while the quality rapidly gets worse and worse
2nd hand/thrift, local craft breweries, locally owned restaurants. Local lockers for meat from farmers I know personally.
and its not inflation driven; this latest corporate grift was fueled by Biden being elected by the people -- it was our spanking.
Same. I've been working myself out of the system for years, bit by bit. Hopefully by the end of the year I'll be boycotting the whole rotten society.
And those things that are not getting worse are getting smaller and smaller so that going to the store for food is an exercise in futility. I am appalled at how many companies are buying into "shrink-a-nomics."
@@denisestarry5012 CSAs--no, not Confederate States of America! I mean Community Supported Agriculture schemes. You pay a subscription and get a share of whatever is produced. Some include meats and eggs as well.
Oh man, Home Goods, Marshall’s and TJ MAXX really hurts!!!
As does the Buffalo Bills and NY Yankees! Geesch!!!
And the Diamond backs! 🤬🤬🤬
Thrift...their over priced crap ends up there either way
Honestly, I'm kinda sick of all those stores. The amount of stuff that is made and just ends up there is kinda sickening. Do we really need to be chopping down trees and using up energy to make stupid little tchochkes that dont do anything, or particle board furniture that falls apart or goes out of style in a season?
I hear you, but in the quality, selection and general upkeep of the stores located by me (in a really nice area too) have gone to shit!! So I’m grateful for a reason NOT to go!!
Some of these hurt. Such a disappointment that so many donated to 2025 and against women.
I had no clue that there are so many companies doing this to us. We spend money on their products and they give us the shaft!!!! Great!!!
Perdues record on its treatment of its employees stands as reason enough not to use their products.
Its environmental record isn't too good either.
And treat,ent of the chickens.
I've NEVER bought anything with Perdue's name on it. Their treatment of animals is even worse than their treatment of their employees. DISGUSTING PSYCHOPATHS.
My no-buy year is off to a great start.
I’m very interested in those that are making this claim. Maybe I’m overthinking it but what do you mean exactly? I assume only purchasing what you absolute need?
