This is the 5th miso pasta video I watched in a row. It's interesting to see how some recipes are more Western, while others (like this one) are more Asian in approach.
Made this today (sans mushrooms 'cause I didn't have any) and it was so so good. The butter and mirin add another layer of flavor and the green onions are a MUST.
I made it for my dinner today, minus the mushrooms as I didn't have it at home. It was sooooooo delicious and legendary! Subscribed to your channel and excited to try more recipes! Your recipes are all very simply and easy to manage for an amateur cook like me 😀
😋 I think i would add a sunny side up egg on top to add on to the richness! I gave this recipe a try but realised I did not have any spaghetti on hand 😅 so I just threw in some leftover rice instead. It still worked! It was a cross between fried rice and risotto 😋👍
Hello from Duluth--I just found out about your channel from Fritz and am now subscribed! Now I can learn some Japanese cooking skills--I've mostly been been doing Thai food, especially curries. I love the way they use coconut in so many dishes. Talk to ya later!
Hi Midnight Chef! Just sharing… I’m not a fan of miso but I challenged myself and made this today…I kind of like it. Just wondering what kind of miso paste did you use? I used a mild white miso. As always, Insupireshon o arigato 🍝

Thank you Fatiha, I usually use regular brown miso but any kind of miso works : )
No salt or hondashi?
can i add some kind of meat? maybe sausages?
Yes sausages or any kind of pork meat should be a good choice 👍
why no wash pasta this time?
Hi! I wash other flour noodles depending on how it’s cooked, but don’t usually wash pasta : )
