My 9 year old son has spent the last 12 months recieving intense chemo for Leukemia, your videos always put a smile on his face and kept his outdoor spirit alive. Thankyou
Even though your TH-cam channel has finished 4 months ago... I still find myself watching episodes again and again. It was really brilliant watching your show and just your passion being shared with others. Thanks to you I finally got a 4x4 and now setup a rig for touring Australia. Thank you for all your passion and efforts providing excellent content.
Kudos mate, Kudos. You basically chose being a good bloke and friend over money and fame. Your videos definitely left a mark on thousands of people all over the world, including myself.
Hello Michael,I firstly want to thank you for the many hours of enjoyment that you have given me with all your travels. As a young 63 year old i have relived some of my own adventures of the past through you and has put a little bit of fire again in me so much so that i have gone and bought another 4x4 for future travels. There are a lot of TH-cam channels out there but what made yours very special is the sincerity and humor that you have put into it.Your knowledge and advice is second to non and your filming is excellent.I wish i had the patiences that you have, as i know how much work there is in making good content. And i know exactly how you feel about mixing work with passion. So don't feel guilty for retairing and living as in a lurch!!!!!LOL,I wish you all the very best in the future whatever you choose to do and hope to see you around the tracks.
Thanks for the genuine and honest content - your relatable videos inspired me to finally take the plunge and create my own channel, something I’m sure you’ve done for many others as well. Best of luck for the future and hoping to one day see more videos from you on a casual basis, perhaps. :)
So Michael, there i was thinking that you were just warming up for things to come. I know what you mean about hobby versus work. I did it with photography when i was young. So what has Seek Adventure meant to me? As an older disabled person i couldn't begin to do the things you've been doing on the channel so it's been a great journey for me. And don't forget you've been a great ambassador for Australia too. What a beautiful, fantastic country. Life is about adapting, improvising, overcoming. So get out there and get on with it, mate. And the best of luck whatever you decide to do. Thanks for sharing all of it. Stay safe. 👍🖖😎🛥⚓🦘🐪🐊🐠🐬
SAD, finally found someone who natural, honest, humble, loved his country, was one with the outdoors and was able to teach the want to be’s all about the best way to venture and discover this great land. Will deeply miss your in-depth footage, quirky presentations, your friends as the film crew but mostly your genuine love for what you do. Thanks for the adventures and I pray that you get to relax as you “SEEK ADVENTURE”
It’s like losing a member of my family. We lived vicariously though your videos and made trips we would not have otherwise taken. Will miss you mate. Hope to see you sometime in the future if you decide to post again. ♥️
Man, I've loved every bit of your videos. Honest, thorough, unbiased and always full of smiles. Do whatever makes you happy, we will always be waiting for another upload. 👌⛏💰
@@wayne6220 5th'd or 6th'd depending on how you count. Great, informative, compelling and enjoyable content. Am in the process of launching my own channel and I learned some things from your channel that will help me with mine - so am doubly grateful.
You've informed, entertained, inspired, motivated, ... us with this wonderful channel. The great thing is that new people will come across these videos and you will live on and on virtually still doing for them what you did so well for us. Your channel is a gift that will just keep on giving to an ever-expanding audience. And when I need a refresher and want to see what you did, how you did it, why you did it, ... I'll be coming back again and again to this jewel of a resource even if you never upload another video. Thanks for sharing your gifts.
Congratulations! You chose to seek adventure, real-life personal relationships and genuine experiences without the sense of obligation to enthrall, educate and entertain an audience. Thank you for the time, effort and passion you put into this channel. You should be proud of what you created. I just discovered this channel a few days ago and it is a lot of fun to watch. But sometimes quitting *is* the right thing to do. I admire your ability to step away after you realized that being a YT content creator no longer brings you joy. May your best adventures always be ahead of you!
I discovered your channel in December 2019 and it quickly became my favourite on TH-cam. Thank you for inspiring me and many others to get out and seek adventure! Your positive attitude and stunning shots are the reason I've spent the past 2 weeks on the road seeing and trying new things. I hope you rediscover your passion at some point and I know all your followers would really love to hear from you again in the future. All the very best from myself buddy and thank you 👍
Sad to see the channel go, but Loved everything you made and I completely understand why your doing it. Thanks for the entertainment over all your videos and go reclaim your passion mate!
Came upon the channel randomly, and love what you do. In an era of everything being hyped up and fake, your channel is real, with no bs, and most importantly of all informative and fun. Go forth and enjoy life! We will miss you.
Although it's sad to see you go, you made perfect sense and I admire your decision. All the video creating pressure has now gone. Time to enjoy yourself and even throw up the occasional video down the track, if you feel like it and choose to do so. Thanks for all your hard work and classy video creations. You seem like one very nice guy.
I only just found your channel this evening...and now I learn you are moving on. I totally understand your reasons - but I feel so sad at the same time! What an amazing, positive and wonderfully balanced human you are - hope you are enjoying your adventures :) You also just inspired me to get myself a stand up paddle board ... so even though you aren't publishing vids anymore you are inspiring adventures.
I'm gonna swing the other way on this. While I can certainly understand your reason for leaving, part of me wonders why you wouldnt just cut back and put out less videos and on a scheduled basis. Instead of every outdoor activity being filmed, make it 1/4 and still put out killer content. If it is the end, I appreciate all the videos, were nice to see. Don't leave your 70k subs down brother, take a breather, stop recording as much and put out scheduled videos. Have fun my friend and I appreciate it it all!
I agree with this sentiment. I can understand that it would become quite stressful to put out a vid each week (especially if you only have the weekend to do it) and that it would become a chore rather than somthing you enjoy doing but the frequency of vids is not why I subbed to this channel, I subbed because I enjoy your style and attitude. I don't care if the vids are once a month or less. Thank you for all the entertainment and inspiration.
He is not the first to suffer under a self imposed schedule and get burnt out. I hope he decides to film every 4th or 5th trip and take some pressure off himself.
I disagree. This is his choice and to lose one's passion is a horrible thing and its hard to get it back. He had 72k subs and that's great but there have been people that left youtube with over 2mill subs and to me, that's a much bigger deal than leaving with 72k. He made amazing adventure tutorials and video maybe just leaves it at that and let him be himself. Doing youtube has its benefits and its downfalls and one the biggest downfall is trying to make as much content as possible to get paid and if you look at the top TH-camrs it's like they have no life outside of youtube cause they constantly need to upload a video every day or 4 times a week..etc So job-wise people might work 5 days a week but as a TH-camr that is trying to put as much content up as possible to get paid, they work 6 days a week. And think of all the video editing that goes into all Michael's videos he has to do after every video shoot to upload..
Thanks for all, you really inspired and helped us to make a 3 months travel around the world this year 2019, and of course in Australia, from Cairns to Melbourne. Thanks mate. Cheers from Mexico and Lithuania.
Huge respect, sir. Thank you for sharing the beauty of your country with someone who will probably never see it except through the kindness of people like you. You live in a nice place and so do I. Canada has a lot of exploring left for me. You helped push me back outside. Thank you for all your hard work. Go enjoy yourself now. I have been retired 12 years now and no one ever wishes they worked more. In the words of my favorite Vulcan, "Live long and prosper."
I've spent about 5 hours today watching random videos of yours. Watching this last video, I can't help but feel super happy for you, not just because you did such a great job making these video's. But it's so nice that you were able to focus on what really matters in this world. You summed it up brilliantly. I really wish you all the very best in the future. I also really hope that you rediscovered your passion for the outdoors and FWDing again. All the best mate!!!
That's really disappointing. This is my favorite channel by far. I wish you well on your adventures . Thank you for all the hard work and awesome content ! It will be greatly missed .
Good for you, I've loved and appreciated your honesty and glad you're staying true to yourself! Enjoy what ever you do and thank you for this last year, I wish you all the very best
Thank you Michael, I’m pleased you’re looking after yourself. Thank you for the awesome footage, I’ve enjoyed the level of professional footage you produce.
Michael, I only stumbled across your channel a few weeks ago and I've been hammering watching all of your videos in order since then. I seen this video pop up in my feed over that time and to be honest, I've been dreading it, as I knew that your videos were obviously coming to an end. You've been an inspiration to watch and can get anyone even thinking about camping or 4 wheel driving into a die hard fan and desperate to get out there. Even my 6 year old daughter regularly wants to watch your videos and now has a passion for camping, all thanks to you. Thank you for all your great videos and I hope in the time since making these and in the pandemic you've managed to still continue doing what you love. Hopefully, from time to time you might come back and give us some updates. Thank you also for the great tips and tricks along the way.
Thanks for the incredible videos, TH-cam is loosing one of its finest... Even this video you made your point so well, im not even mad. Enjoy life and keep seeking adventure..🙂
Well, I just turned on the puter, saw the "Seek adventure" notification, checked all the other stuff out first and then settled down to watch my favourite, SA. very disappointing indeed. When I watch your videos, I always analyze, and try to work out how you did this shot and that shot and yes, I can see that there is a huge amount of work involved. Driving past your camera then going back to get it, the drone shots and then the endless hours of editing. You really have done an amazing job with your channel mate, and I so appreciate how much work is involved. I'm gonna miss it. But, "A man's gotta do what a man's gotta do", on that note, I can only wish you the very best in whatever you decide to do. Cheers from Queensland
Enjoyed your vids and the content, learnt a lot on vehicle recovery whilst taking in the WA scenery, and I can totally understand your decision, have a good life.
I have been binging your videos for the last few months, definately one of my favorite channels. Watched this video now and realised that its more than a year old. Damn! I just want tp thank you for the videos, my family and I are immigrating to WA in Jan, your videos gave me comfort as we have a passion for the outdoors, to be honest you got me extremely excited about the move. As there are external issues pushing us out of our home country, not that we want to go, but now we are ready to go. A big thank you!
It is refreshing to see honesty in the world of 4x4 filmography. Your videos were inspiring for so many people and I dread having to go back to commercial 4wd commentators. You definitely have the gift for transporting your viewers to try and emulate the adventures that you have tackled. Well done and I hope we see you again.
Thank you Michael. I have followed you since the early days and you've been a big inspiration for me to plan and get ready for an up and coming big adventure of mine that I've always wanted to do. After a traumatic workplace accident in early 2017 I've spent a lot of time watching TH-cam, with your channel always being there and watched as soon as possible. I wish you luck and joy in whatever you do. You set out to inspire people to push their limits, so take comfort in knowing you've succeeded. Thank you, and those around you. Good work mate. Seek Adventure !
Thanks Michael. We’ve loved watching your videos, always excited when a knew one was uploaded. They have been inspiring and entertaining. We will miss them a lot, but totally understand why you are stopping them. Safe travels buddy 👍
I just came here to choose traction boards and now Im left will all the feels. I understand every word you said about just trying to enjoy the moment instead of losing yourself into "what's next". I subscribed just to come back and learn more, enjoy the views and happy people all around. I'll finish with a great sentence I've heard once, "May everyday feel like the first time". Take care mate.
Thanks for everything, the Education, tips and tricks, the views and for the uplifting themes. It’s what the world needs right now. It’s great to see someone with a genuine smile all the time.
hey man i just wanted to say thanks a lot youve really helped me out getting started in offroading and camping. some of the best advice ive come across. also have always loved your attitude. enjoy!
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE INSPIRATION AND YOUR ENERtGY! Like everyone else I selfishly hope that you just reduce content and don't disappear altogether, but whatever you do.. STAY AWESOME! I would love to see you as our state tourism ambassador!
Brilliant footage ... A great finish ... Special to see a man of integrity and wisdom! Enjoy your continued adventures! Thanks for your contribution in helping us to enjoy the great outdoors.
Throughly enjoyed your channel. It’s helped open a broader view of the awesome Australia we live in. Most of all I appreciated the effort you put in to make this a preferred channel to visit, and the learning you shared helped me and other members of my family to learn important stuff, select good gear based on a voice we trust and products you tested. Your regular face on TH-cam will be missed. Wishing you every success for the future. Personally and selfishly I’ll keep my fingers crossed that every once in awhile you get a hankering to publish another adventure that we all get to share with you. Thanks for your contributions!!!
YES! You know, what truly matters! Happy new year and keep enjoying life the way you're passionate about, and always be true to yourself! Thanks for all what you've shared with us, even if this might be the last adventure. But since videoing is another passion of yours, I'm pretty sure, we'll get to see some little video once in a while. 💕
Just startered watching your vids thought finally found someone who loves what he does and not all about plugging companies was so refreshing now your finishing up lol
Thanks so much for all of the amazing videos , tips and for taking all of us along with you for the ride. Ive only just recently discovered your channel and its fabulous. Your very kind and humble. Enjoy your own adventures, rejuvenate your soul and reignite your passion . All the best , and Thankyou :)
I just found your channel and I'm bummed you won't be doing videos anymore but respect your decision about getting that passion back. I have been contemplating doing a solo kayak trip on the Colorado river and after watching some of your videos you have inspired me to take that trip. Thank you for all the hard work you put into these videos. I will be watching more of your earlier stuff in the weeks to come. Cheers from California.
I started watching you back in June of 2019 as i was looking for solar panels to charge up a power block. I watched a couple of your videos and I was hooked. I binge watched all of your videos and showed them to my grand kids. I told them to enjoy life and "Seek Adventure" and travel and experience everything they can in life. I wish I could have traveled and camped and saw the sights as you have. THANK YOU for the videos and the time it took to make them, they are much appreciated. Hope to see you again from time to time.
Brendon Munn it’s really amazing how a young man as he is can inspire a middle aged guy like me. I used to be in the USMC for 6.5 years, been all over the world and am a combat vet. I have definitely had my own adventures. Watching Michael doing his thing with his friends and family and on his own added to my motivation to break away from my daily grind and enjoy the simple things in life and have fun with my kids and grand kids. His videos are helpful and informative for anyone who wants to seek adventure and brings new ideas.
I’ve recently discovered this channel, and have fallen in love with it. Thank you for everything you all have done. I’ve learned a lot about what I want to do, with the help of your content. As a photographer, I understand that you need to capture things for yourself, and just enjoy the moment without all the distractions/worries. Hello, and see you soon, from the U.S. 🤘🏼
I've enjoyed every second of your videos and feel really sad we won't be seeing your smiley face as regularly as before. Thank you for all the fun times you have shared with us - all the beautiful places you have shown us - and all the tips you have given us. You are a top bloke and I wish you all the very best for the future. Take care of yourself.
Enjoyed what you shared, Michael. Thanks a bunch. My personal hope is to someday see you as part of a fun group doing what you have been doing, so all the work doesn't fall on so few shoulders. Happy new Year and all the best, Michael, to you and yours as you... SEEK ADVENTURE!!!
I came across your channel at the start of the year when I was looking for touring kitchen set ups for the camp trailer I built and I’ve been watching ever since. You’ve always been informative and entertaining which is hard to do at the same time. I’m going to miss having new content but I’m glad your going off to Seek Adventure 👍🏻
Found this channel via TH-cam recommendations after getting my Toyota Tacoma and searching some other camping and 4x4 stuff. This channel is certainly one of the most entertaining and informative for these topics. Thanks for all the great videos.
Just found your channel randomly through suggested vids (the tow hitch bag was the one lol) and I'm a fan of your video and analysis style. Totally understand your reasoning for changing the focus of your life back to the way it was. Thanks for sharing your love of life with us.
Woooow the way you explained how turning your passion into a job will kill your passion is exactly how I explain it to everyone who asks me why I’ve stopped doing photography and cooking. I turned both of my passions into a job and then I found myself never wanting to do those things anymore. And I put down the camera for the same exact reason. I wasn’t fully present with the camera and I wanted to stop worrying about getting the best shot, and wanted to actually enjoy the places I was at. Nowadays I do what you said you started off doing, and that is taking small clips or photos to capture memories and share them with friends. It’s so cool to hear someone else explain their reasonings for why you chose not to do something you’re good at. Always felt like I was alone with my reasonings of why I’ve stopped my passions. I’m at a point now tho where I want to pick those things back up again and regain those passions. Anyway, I’m so happy I found this channel. Hoping you’re out there getting your passions back and still permanently smiling lol 🙏🏼
Glad I stumbled on your channel a couple of days ago. I’m just getting back into camping and my daughter joined my on my last quick trip. We had a blast. I can’t wait for her to be back this weekend so I can show her some of your vids. Take care and enjoy your adventure!
You shared with us some beautiful places and gave out great information. Your videos inspired me and I hope to get back to Australia and do some more exploring before I get to old. Thank you and the best of luck to you!
Hey thanks for all those awesome video adventures and tips and tricks, do's and don'ts It taught me alot, and did get me out to my local State Park to secure my 2020 4 wheel drive permit! I have beep passing away the cold and wet days having fun watching what goes on in Australia in the 4 wheel world, and its been awesome to watch and learn. I totally get what you mean about getting lost in the moment trying to capture the shot, rather than just enjoying it. So cheers Mate, for all that you missed in life making these vids, and congrats for the balls and wisdom in getting the hell out of it and doing what you are really passionate about. What a relief that must be...
Hi Guys, For all of you that are concerned about Meischa and Michael still being friends. We were on our way to the Fatboy Slim concert today (02-02-2020) and we saw Michael and Meischa leaving Little Cs Restaurant in Hillarys and they were having a ball. So we thank you for your great channel and all the sound advice and enthusiasm you have shown. Enjoy your future adventures PS My dad has just brought a BT50 because of your adventures. On the off chance you read this he wants me to ask you what tyres you recommend for beach sand in WA?....Eat well travel often and stay safe.
I only just discovered you tonight. You did the videos well. Good on you for choosing to enjoy your life as you were before with your friends and family and doing the things you enjoy where you can be spontaneous doing them instead of planning every move. A job well done. Continue to enjoy your life you seem like a lovely bloke. Take care
Hi. Totally get what this guy says at the end of the video about not being in the moment because of always looking for the next shot to film. I found this out when i was about the same age as him, that's when i stopped taking a camera out bush with me. 35 years later i team up with a man 10 years older than me to do a overnight hiking and camping adventure. He brings his camera and is always looking for a good shot to take, never ending, never in the moment with it all, always looking. Decades for me without the camera and just taking it all in being in the moment with it all had me wondering if this guy was mad or insane or something. What a difference. Thankyou for your videos, i really like your happy nature.
We have loved your adventures, sad to see you go but totally get it. Often my hubby and I would discuss while watching your videos just how long it must take you to get all the angles etc. You have inspired us to one day do ALL of Australia. You have become our No. 1 for Australian adventure. Hope you can now enjoy the outdoors without the pressure and again get your passion back. Thanks for the year you gave. We will miss you. Just a thought ... perhaps publishing a book one day with your amazing photography and stories ... :)
Maaateee ! So sad to hear of your decision to retire your excellent feed. I’m sure you have seen how many views you have received in this feed in such a short time. Far more than any of the other high profilers including All4Adventure. To me that equates that so many of us so, so enjoy you and your unabashed approach to your passion of camping and showing others how it is done. You have brought to me personally so many fantastic sights and informative commentary on your magnificent journeys and your no bullshit reviews on products also the great ideas and improvements you have provided in camping ideas and upgrades to your rig. I have so enjoyed every one of your feeds and have taken onboard everything you have posted. Living here on the Sunny Coast of Queensland pales to insignificance with the beautiful and wonderful sights you and your mates have shared !! WoW !! You have inspired me to no end to get out to your state and “smell the roses” you enjoy !!! You sure have a talent, wish a commercial tv channel would stand up and take notice !! Best regards Steve
Micheal thanks for the great videos, I’m no way near as big as you on TH-cam and posting once a week making good content doing things you love, you really do lose that real passion you once had because your worries about making that amazing video for people to watch so I definitely do know where your coming from! I know a lot of you tubers that post a video once month maybe this could be something you could think about as you have this community of people that not only love watching you seek adventure but actually watching you as a person and loving hearing your opinion on everything you do! Sad to see you go but thanks for a great 2019! Happy new year!! 👌🏽

All the very best from myself buddy and thank you 👍
I just discovered it last week, and the first video to come out since was this one. What a bummer!
Yep agree. Even just one video per month. Please keep the channel running.
Love that intro btw.
DANG IT.......
I couldn't agree more - Thats a good idea !!!
4 years later and this channel is still growing. Hope you are doing well Michael :)
That is one of the funniest starts to a video I have EVER seen! Looking forward to the new adventures.
Enjoyed your vids and the content, learnt a lot on vehicle recovery
whilst taking in the WA scenery, and I can totally understand your decision,
have a good life.
Great decision man! Seek adventure! May you have the best year yet!
Happy 2020 :)
Well best of luck in all your endeavors! Life is short, live it to the fullest!
Same with me. Watched one vid, loved it, subscribed, then found this vid straight after... 😂
Same
Wow, I didn't expect that.
Sorry to see you go mate, great vids each and every time.
I am sure everyone on here will miss seeing your content.
Jay0321 that’s how I found his videos.
The classic Coight part was priceless haha
Thanks for everything man and best of luck in the future 🥳 🍻
Bumped into him out hiking today 😁 wtf. I loved ya vids mate. Thanks for your honesty. Ya gota do you brother good luck in ya ways
Thanks for the great content, and I appreciate the work behind the scenes.
Good luck in your future endeavours.
Rockingham WA
Found this channel via TH-cam recommendations after getting my Toyota Tacoma and searching some other camping and 4x4 stuff. This channel is certainly one of the most entertaining and informative for these topics. Thanks for all the great videos.
Just found your channel randomly through suggested vids (the tow hitch bag was the one lol) and I'm a fan of your video and analysis style. Totally understand your reasoning for changing the focus of your life back to the way it was. Thanks for sharing your love of life with us.
Take care Michael, you made us Aussies proud with your genuine heart. I'm sure we'll all be here to welcome you back when the time is right :)
1 year since this sad day, glad this showed up in my recommended.
Thanks for all the vids mate.
“So long and thanks for all the fish”

Has more effort ever gone into a quitting TH-cam vid? 👍👏
Oh, I feel like I discovered a long gone civilization. I only found this channel last week, and have been obsessed. Can’t believe it’s already over.
Many thanks for the videos Michael. Totally appreciate what you are doing. Good luck and hope we see you back occasionally.
Leaving with class, like a true gentleman. 👍
Your work is very inspiring. it keeps me motivate to get out and "seek adventure".
Happy 2020 to you!
Hi Guys,
For all of you that are concerned about Meischa and Michael still being friends.
We were on our way to the Fatboy Slim concert today (02-02-2020) and we saw Michael and Meischa leaving Little Cs Restaurant in Hillarys and they were having a ball. So we thank you for your great channel and all the sound advice and enthusiasm you have shown. Enjoy your future adventures
PS My dad has just brought a BT50 because of your adventures.
In the end, the pictures only serve for us to remember. Once we pass, a few will go through them all, then eventually forgotten. Live in the moment.
totally loved and learnt heaps from your videos mate, awesome job
So, it seems you may have actually learned more than you taught. Can’t put a price on that. Now you can get back to really Seek(ing) Adventure!
Just a simple and sincere …. THANKYOU … :-)
Well said man. I hope he can find a better balance if he decides to make more videos.
Loved your channel thank you for sharing, all the very best “off” camera seeking adventure !!
Thanks for the Inspiration mate, You reminded me Just how good the great outdoors are ! I sold my (replica) Peter Brock No.1 LJ GTR XU1 Torana and bought a 200 series Landcruiser , 2020 the year of Beach and Bush camping and getting in touch with Nature and most Importantly will SEEK ADVENTURE !!! GODSPEED man ;-) ;-)
what you get for the torry? enough to buy a 200?
@@thebob3712 LJ is in my videos ;-) and yes enough, profile pic is the 200 ;-)
Sold my fast cars in my 20s, built a pretty wild Sierra of all things and never looked back!
@@ToiletduckX I would love one of Dick Johnson's special builds lol.. ;-)
Just watched one of your videos and absolutely loved your personality and the fact that you always have a smile on your face! I decided to watch your most recent video to be saddened by finding out you quit, while you showed the highlights of your channel it felt like I was there from the beginning. I hope you enjoy to continue exploring the outdoors without worrying about recording, I'll miss you buddy
I'll miss your channel, your love for what you do is evident and that's what made watching your channel so enjoyable. I truly appreciate all the insight and experiences you shared with the rest of us, nothing but respect and appreciation from me on your future endeavors!
Awesome finale mate!
Hopefully you do continue to produce a few more adventure vids mate
We will miss you. I completely understand your message. Live laugh love! And most importantly, SEEKAdventure!! 👍🙏
Thanks for all the vid's Michael, really enjoyed them. I guess now I can binge watch them all again :) - Peter V.
I really do miss your channel! Thanks for keeping the videos up. Hope you are all doing well.
Michael Housh me too sadly
Thank you for the time and effort you have put into Seek Adventure. I have always wanted to travel around Australia and your videos have helped me prepare for my trip. My trip is starting this April with my family. Hope to meet you on the road. All the best for the future. Thank you
