    I’ve been using the Sherman s for 4 months now and it personally blows away any other euc I’ve used so far. Its range and reliability are its greatest strengths as that alone makes it viable as a car replacement for personal transportation. That aside, the speed it’s capable of is more than enough as I only ride as fast as I need to keep up with car traffic. It’s been one of the best purchases I’ve made in a long time

    I got my sherman s in Feb, 6200 miles later not one single issue. It's been in deep waters, up steep inclines and high speeds, even a few crashes and still performs like new out the box. With a Sur-ron seat installed the ride is butter smooth. LK YOU NAILED IT!!!!!

      right? I'm a cyclist, I only found out about them through a GMBN video showing Shibbytime going over jumps on an EUC. only thing that stops me from getting one is that it's not really practical for me since they're limited on cargo capacity. if I had a way to hitch a trailer to one that would be the game changer for me

    Fantastic Review!
    I knew all my homework would pay off when I ordered my second batch Sherman S almost a year ago. It arrived Feb28th this year and I've racked up almost 5,000 km since with not one issue. It is my daily commute to work, and my escape when I need it.

    Great review as always. With high speed mode, it brings its top speed well into the low 50s, so I think speed is almost a non-issue with this wheel. That being said, I'd welcome a 134v version! I'd also love to see a 70lb spring option for people who want to use it as a one-wheel quiver, to include jumps (patton, too).

    The Commander Pro is my favorite wheel to ride. Its speed and agility are astonishing for its weight, especially compared side by side to the Sherman-S.
    But the Sherman-S is my favorite wheel to OWN, and it is the wheel I do actually own. It looks better, feels more polished, and has been rock solid reliable so far.

    Good grief it's been a while seeing you my friend. You were the first channel that I saw back three, four years ago wrhen I was trying to get into the EUC seen. It was the Monster ride to a BBQ party that you went to. Eversince that vid I wanted the Monster so badly, and than I shifted to the Sherman wanting that badly too. I never was able to get any EUC cuz I was in a predicament in finances, and other related health issue at the time. I was willing, but my stamina was able to. That's why I gave up on it. Meow though I shifted into motosickles. Well, I started with scoot scoot, and I had my first 300cc motorsickle, and than meow I got a 500cc motorsickle. I"m loving it so much riding my bikes. So it turn out for the best for me. I'm meow on two wheels instead of one. I still like EUC, but I know meow I can't physically ride those things. I swear though it was good watching your vids back in the day. I guess I could keep watching your vids more to see how NY is like meow through you travels on a EUC even though I would probably not get one. What I want meow is really to upgrade my bike again to either the new affordable Honda cb750hornet, or the Yamaha MT09. If you didn't know the Honda that I want is a 755cc inline 2 with a 270crank, and the Yamaha is a 890cc inline 3 crossplane. I would love to get both the bikes because it is a better upgrade than what I have that is 471cc inline 2 with a 180 crank. Youre probably asking why would you just go for a liter bike. Well, I don't really have the finances for it, and I don't really need that kind of power. Meow If I can get it for a hand me down, than I don't really mind getting it. Either than that I think it's possible for me to get the two bikes that I described. That's enough of that rambling. It's really good to see you my friend. I'll keep in touch.

    I ride roads and paths, I don't race on tracks. For me the Sherman S has all the power and all the speed that I need/want. The top speed is definitely over 50mph, I've touched on 75kph (46mph) without the wheel beeping (I am in high speed mode) and that is definitely not maxing it out. Even pushing faster speeds it is still easy enough to ride for over 100kms (over 3 hours) and that is long enough riding for me. My other wheels have had less range and I had to keep my speed down to make 70km, with the Sherman S I go as fast as I feel comfortable riding and still easily enough manage 100km. If I kept my speed between 0 & 40kph then I'm sure I could ride for 160km, but that would be over 4 hours of riding and that is getting a bit long for me.
    I only have 1,800km on my wheel, but down here in the southern hemisphere it is mid-spring now and heading to summer, so I expect to run up some decent kilometres over the next few months. Mine is stock except pedals (Nylonove) and pads (Grizzla Flow).

      I currently ride the EX.N HS. Am happy with it's speed and travel range.

    • @KiwiMark67
      @KiwiMark67 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @kiwimon3204 I'm in Hamilton. I got my Sherman S in February, now over 1,800km on it. I use it much more than my V12HT or my e-MTB or my e-scooter. I have ordered a new e-scooter (Inmotion RS), but I probably won't run up as many kms on that as on my Sherman S.
      The Sherman S is heavy, but it is a quality wheel with really good suspension. The range I get is perfect for me. I did change the pedals to Nylonove ones and I added Grizzla Flow pads, but now I'm super happy riding this wheel.

  • @epicurioh
    @epicurioh ปีที่แล้ว +3

    I love my S. I am slightly bothered by the lack of acceleration and deceleration compared to even the OG Sherman, but since I own both I've noticed that I feel more confident on the S because it feels tuned to not overpower itself before reaching top speed. On the OG Sherman, I swear I can get beeps while accelerating from a stop well before I reach 30mph. I prefer the confidence a slower acceleration provides.
    If the an S+ comes out, I'd expect a 126v setup, like the Patton, and I'd hope the range is at least 80% that of the S. I really don't think I'd want the acceleration of I had to trade the capacity to skip my car for a day. I'd rather have my S and then get a Patton for the off-road contexts I'd expect to need the torque in.
    But on the other hand, I'd appreciate the better stopping distances of a 126v setup...

      @AlexeyDnepr ปีที่แล้ว

      Veteran Patton does it accelerate better?

    • @epicurioh
      @epicurioh ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@AlexeyDnepr I don't own it, but considering it's a smaller wheel with the same motor as the Sherman S, and it's 126v batteries whereas the S is only 100v, the Patton definitely accelerates faster, since it should have much more torque.

    • @tdkerman
      @tdkerman ปีที่แล้ว +7

      True. Also Begode wheels tend to misdisplay their speed a lot, for example EX30 displays 10% more speed than GPS, on Sherman-S difference is only 2-3%, and some guy managed to hit 60mph GPS on his Sherman-S

      They really aren't as hard to learn as people making them out to be, especially for people with riding experience even if its 2 wheels. You just need to wait for riding dynamic to click in your brain and after that your experience with managing traction, balance and stability will probably all kick in also.

    Looks a great wheel but way too expensive for me. If the wheel is aimed at long distance comfort then the seat should be built in and perhaps tilt up to provide a trolley handle. That rear light looks a bit minimal too. Perhaps there should also be sacrificial hard rubber corner pads to protect the wheel in a crash - these could come in different colours to allow people to customise their wheels. Is the lighting good? Does the trolley handle work well?

It's fine and dandy when you are riding in heavy traffic, but when you get a wheel to ride in suburb roads where cars regularly go 80km/h, inflated wheel speed numbers mean nothing. @OWGAC Can you send me a link, or show me where I could get a bracket like the one you are using to attach your luna seat. Would be super helpful.
    Thanks!

    I mean I guess technically it's MORE upstate, however I would not consider anything south of Orange county "upstate" in fact I'd barely even consider Orange county to be upstate when you consider that there's a whole lot of state left to go north of that. certainly Orange county is still within commute distance of New York City although I would not call it a "comfortable" commute my ex's sister and brother-in-law had a 2-hour commute from I-84

    It all sounds good but, the weight at 100lbs is to much & unsafe for me. The V14 is 85lbs whish is much better control & safety for me. 100 miles range sounds good but, history tells me 60 miles range is enough.

    There is a lot of plastic shit inside the wheel - structures that should be made of metal. This wheel will not live as long as Inmotion V13. The price is totally extreme considering the fragile inside structures. Leaperkim send us spareparts for the Sherman S.... Why? Because the QC on batch1 was not OK....

    • @djwhiteflour
      @djwhiteflour ปีที่แล้ว

      Trade off for less weight? I agree that the two sides should be better bridged together. The thing is a tank. The V13 has plenty of faults as well, smaller battery, air shocks, seems a bit less planted. The add ons that were shipped, did any of that really need switched? The trolley handle seems fine as is. The pedals need to be switched to BVD anyways, the V13 pedals would too though. Not sure about the slider covers. Never heard about what the rod was for yet. I got mine from Ali and it has been a great wheel so far for almost everything. I would not recommend it for a beginner unless they were only interested in learning seated riding for a good amount of time first though.
