It's almost criminal to see properties like that just left to rot away. Once they're gone, they're gone and we'll never see homes built like that again.
@VacantHaven most end up owned by the Crown ( government) who'll do nothing with it for fear of some long lost relative turning up and claiming the property. Then the property falls into disrepair and is flattened for safety reasons.
Must have been a beautiful place years ago. To bad the mold got so bad. Don’t know how you’d get rid of that. Absolutely loved the conservatory. Thanks for the explore ♥️🇨🇦
What a great find - two lovely cottages 💕 Love the red walls and checked floor in no:2 and those old board games in the attic wow! Shame they’ve been left to deteriorate 😢 Curious about the pantry area, fire extinguishers and the outbuildings - they must have had some sort of groups visiting … if only the houses could speak!! Another great video Alex, Ed and Ned 👍👍👍
I reckon these were workers cottages for, the estate perhaps which would explain the lack on any updating and the garish colours usually found in old rented houses. The outside was so much prettier than the inside but knocked together and renovated it could be a really good house. Thanks for another interesting explore.
Two beautiful old cottages just left... Very modern conservatories and yet the rest very dated except for some interesting colour schemes and various shades of mold. 😅 Thanks Alex, Ned and Ed..
This was once in a lifetime kinda home. Now this once beautiful place is being taken back by nature. The architecture is fabulous and unusual with the high ceilings. It's always so sad to see a wonderful place like this just falling apart. Some of the things left behind were odd to be keeping in the first place. Like those coffee cup lids, toys, and so many mirrors, weird. Makes you think that a hoarder may have lived there. Thank you guys for the beautiful tour.
Great explore guys. I love people's lofts, always find stuff that triggers nice childhood memories 🤗 The stair carpet in cottage one was my childhood living room carpet and I instantly felt 5 years old again, playing Buzz Off and Operation sitting on that awful garish carpet 😄 I love when that happens in an explore, makes me feel all warm and cosy ! Cheers, See you next week guys 😘
Other than the mold problem the place was in not bad condition . The yobs had not been around to smash the place up and the graffiti paint by numbers cans ran out . Thank you for a great video , I really enjoyed being there ( in spirit only ) , Till next time , Stuart in Canada ..
Was a garden service place probably had a market garden or possibly a smallholding at some point hence the big water vat. That tool you mentioned the big spikes on that was an Allen Sythe (spelling is wrong) was used as a mechanical sythe for cutting tall grass waste ground etc.then the next machine with the bid wheels that had Oxford something on them was a large rotavator they were taken over by a company called Howard who called it a Howard Gem. The board games are from the 70s my younger brothers had all them games oh the memories !
Looks so pretty from the outside, shame it can’t be renovated with some work they would make beautiful homes, not keen on the colour scheme, each to their own though lol. Wonderful explore as always guys x❤
This place looks like it was a community entertainment center. Maybe they showed movies and sold snacks! Also he could've had a stream cleaner for cars?
Lovely old farm cottages. Needs roses round the door, willow tree, cats, chickens, Border collies and a donkey would be nice. The inside layout a bit weird but could be very nice if someone had the money to fix it. Thank you for another excellent explore. 💖💖
Another killer video! It’s amazing how you find such interesting places like no one else! Hats of to you guys! Also some fantastic comments and hilarious bantering. Wonderful stuff guys! You’re the best 👍
Edd the big tank in the garage is for water suppy as there was no electriary a small farm engine not steam but petrol ..very noisey so a water pump from the well was used to fill that big tank so the engine did not have to run 24/7...go to a car rall or rallies see them in action in the staitiony engine section...small farm engines and old water pumps attached hopefully it comes accross as a o'yerrr moment
Hi Alex. Another great find. I hate when the videos come to an end. i keep checking to see how much time is left to watch! Did you see what was above the water tank? did you find a large boiler. Perhaps the owner used a steam powered boiler to make electricity hence all the fire extinguishers etc. I am no expert but I am really curious.
Thankyou for showing us this beautiful cottage. The polystyrene roof tiles made back in the 70s do contain asbestos apparently but I really want to know why the black mould wouldn't grow on the leaf designed wallpaper, cause whatever those leaves are made from would be brilliant if mixed in with paint and sealants
Another great explore, love the old board games in the loft. Tell Eddie i've still got the Starsky cardy that my mum made me all those years ago, and no i don;t still where it ( It wouldn't fit any more ).
Love seeing old games and toys, bring back happy memories. We had the Game of Life game but didn't understand the rules or how to play it lol. Interesting explores seeing around the bandos. Thanks Alex, Ned and Ed. BTW Ed is a scream and always makes me laugh xx

Thank you for all y'all do to bring us such epic and amazingly cool places that we will never or can't see without you guys!! Thank you and much love to you all!!!❤❤❤❤❤ the grand homes!!! Homeless folks should seek out these kinds of places. Some rooms are obviously not safe, but the rooms that appear to be dry and sound would be quite nice with a bit of imagination. I don't see why not if house been empty for years with no new owner. As long as respectful and not vandals. Mould is definitely dangerous but some rooms look nice n dry. Such a waste. Nobody should be homeless with all these empty places 😢.
It's almost criminal to see properties like that just left to rot away. Once they're gone, they're gone and we'll never see homes built like that again.
Such a mess, I guess they didn't have anyone to pass it down to and it got stuck in the hands of whoever for a long time!
Hopefully it can be saved

Yeah very nice little cottage at one point in time. I think the guy was very fire conscious or it could have been a B+B maybe?
Great viewing as usual guys, 2 cottages but so different in their own unique styles...
The grounds looked amazing,, some hidden gems for sure 😊
They really throw me back in time when I visit these old Farm type house.
So much character to this one.
Cheers for watching
@VacantHaven the games in the attic took me back,, operation was a fave 👌

That's what I'm thinking workers cottages for an estate as theres a veg garden and polytunnels that are looked after

I get the feeling Edd is a retired locksmith 😅 he gets you in everywhere
No lock picking ever required in our explores, but yeah weirdly I get that feeling too lol
@@VacantHaven lol since he's always looking for Safes.
Nice conservatory with a stove to keep warm when you want to go out there when it is cold and sit around and drink some coffee and chit chat.😊
A perfect end of my birthday to watch you guys explore. P.s don't forget the tunnels lol xx
Will be looking in to it soon Maz! And glad you had a great birthday.

No worries Nanny, rest up and get well soon! 😁👍

hahaha..made me giggle with the dragon fly..all and all a great vid 😉
There’s a shortage of housing yet they leave these places to decay. Crazy x

Cool masonic floor and blue bulb.👍
Another great video guys.
That Starsky and Hutch game is nice.
I like the black and white tiles on the floors.
I’ve still got my Escape from Colditz game in the loft
Nice, have you ever played it, and was it any good?
@@VacantHaven I played it all the time in the 70s when I was little. It was a good game but you had to have a few players. X
Eds highlights 25:50 Old friends. 34:08 The Neighbor-"ok... coming Mommy?!".
Those are some really cool board games in the attic.👍
Ed was talking about his mum knitting a Starskey jersey, mine did too a brown and white cardigan 2 sizes too big was awesome
Amazing wee house.
Cool shades in the conservatory.

That building next to the house needs some clean up too.
That light fixture needs to be reattached to the ceiling.
Ee oo dares wins Brlliant 🏆
The ladder to go up in the attic is safe.
Oh my! It's raining, guys! go home!
Let's go see what is upstairs.👍
That was a old oil heater for the green house
That storage room outside needs to be gone thru and cleaned up.
The clock in that room stopped a long time ago.
Look at that old Roller!….. I look up expecting to see a rolls Royce
That room needs some clean up where the drawer with lids and the oil change pit could be a man cave 👍
All the room need a little bit of cleanup. 👍😊

I guess the people that lived there either passed on or went to a nursing home and no relatives have kept the place up.
