Hi Peter, good to see you. Not surprised at warnings in the storage, having lived in southern Italy. You’d not believe what we’ve seen! Mum driving, kid behind, two smaller kids standing on the platform, and pets in a front basket… Oh, and no crash helmets either. That’s the south for you!😀
This was great and a pleasant surprise. I seldom see one on the Sprint and rarely on the Sprint S 50cc. Usually they do the Primavera and/or a 150-300cc. Plus yours was not just a short 3 minutes or so video, you did almost a half hour. Bravo!!!!! Very well done. I wish you would have said how many (new) colours there are for this model in 2024, started it up, talked about options, etc. Regardless, I'm still happy. :)
Is the key fob required to bring with you? I know the sprint and primavera have a separate fob, like a car from 2004. Can i just leave that thing at home and use the key only or does the fob have an immobilizer?
Thank you for this great review! :) I saw that there is also an electtrica version of this 2024 model which has the same removable battery as the Piaggio 1. Do you have the possibility to do a review of this model or of their differences as well?
I actually wanted to buy a Vespa or Library scooter and drove 100+ miles to visit the only dealership in Iowa last year. Didn’t like the dealership too much because the employees were all college students that it was a job to them not much excitement over the scooters they were selling. Went down the street to a SYM, Lance, Genuine Scooter dealer and bought a SYM Fiddle 4 200i.
I found a Vespa Sprint that's from 2015 and looks like new on the photos he sent me. Originally a 50 cc, it's been upgraded to a 70 cc engine. Is it worth $2400? Or should I buy a cheap bicycle for now and save up for a motorcycle license costing $3500, then invest in a real Vespa 300 cc or motorcycle instead? I'm wondering about the value for money and if the 70 cc upgrade offers significant advantages over the 50 cc. What are your thoughts on starting out with 70 cc? I'd appreciate your advice so I don't end up regretting a second-hand Vespa purchase online. Thanks for your insights!
@ no, not yet… as it is Winter I have been thinking of it but have not yet made a decision… no obe convinced me either if is the right choice yet. What do you think?
@@SimplicityForGood is it still for sale 6 months later? Idk man I wouldn't buy it because it's modded, not because it's a 50. If you live in an area where speed limits are lower, 50s are great. If you need more speed then get the proper license and get a bigger bike. I'm getting a 50 myself because they're less expensive and I live in an urban area, despite having my full motorcycle license.
@ sorry see now, I mentioned the first modded one. No, that one was sold. I began to look on another in a different city that is 50 cc and two stroke from 2015. Is Winter here so he took down the advertisement of it but said if I want it I can buy it for 1700 euro with transportation to my home from his city. He always had it in a warm garage but repainted the front frame ubder the wheel a bit once, otherwise no issues and he showed it on video and it looks great. Not many people buy scooters or motorcycles in the Winter here so the prices are lower now. Though the stores began to advertise them for 4500 euro this week...guess they consider it a warm Winter this year as we only have had snow at two occasions for 3 days each.

the fact that you said that somebody trying has made it necessary to put a 'No Pets' label in the storage area made me sad :(
Just got mine 15 days ago love it
How much did it cost out the door?
