@@Rockyboy120 The elasticity of rubber pulls these pins back and if you lubricate them, the lower part of the caliper will not go back as much as the upper part(because of weight) and the pads will wear slightly at an angle. These types of calipers should not be lubricated. These pins run dry, another story is with pins that works inside caliper these one we lubricate but with proper grease that doesn`t swell rubber. If we lubricate them with the wrong grease they may even seize.
should have greased the slide pins.
No you don't lubricate those type of slide pins.
Why not ?

That’s interesting, I was not aware of that, thanks.
So you cut out the ONLY part that I cared about - sliding the little part of the gasket inside the caliper when the piston is inserted.........
normal gres kaucuğu bozar. silikon gres gerekli
treating this like a model airplane build...
Need to grease the pins and the ends of the pads
ATE company says they can't be lubricated. But why not.
You don't lubricate them.
Caliper refurb/paint job is spectacular 😊
omg you didnt grease the only thing that you should have THE SLIDE PINS!!!!
Outstanding quality-- lighting, focus, and orderly procedure.
(And we didn't have to listen to sub-standard music!)
Piston goes in with a little brake fluid.
Or red tacky, since it’s a grease compatible with the dot four and 3
what kind of grease are you using because it will mix to brake fluid and fluid become contaminated its ok use that kind of grease
No never in my life have I seen this done
There is nothing absolute about using brake fluid. As I understand, red rubber grease may also be used.
Does rus😂😂t behind the square seal cause a leak because the rubber seal looks fine to me I'm looking at it right now
You need two weeks to finish one piston
A little heavy on the lube. You only need the hit the inner seal & a little in the dust boot.
You Sure you know what your doing never heard of this
