Mostly yes, because without the pause Wario would win but with rng manipulation you can change that. There’s more in this game that requires rng manipulation when it comes to TAS
Now I gotta say this real quick that skateboard scamper was the one that was a real struggle for me to be honest and took me 3 hours to get through that minigame. The reason for pauses on that minigame is because no matter how fast you press that B button the CPU’s would win everytime, 3 hours later i tried rng manipulation and it manages to mess with the CPU’s code for mashing. I’m not sure how this would work with non tas but I’m assuming it will work that way when it comes to super hard CPU’s for that minigame
Orange Koopa Kid: Nice video, bro!
Hey. Long time no see, Nintendotv64.
@@blueyoshi25 Hey.
Lucky you! I’m trying to do a TAS of Mario Party 9’s minigames too
Nice video. 👍
7:30 I notice that you pause at the end of Abandon Ship, does this perhaps indicate that the winner is determined by RNG?

@@GenuineSpeed4 Yes I can see that. Abandon Ship's method of choosing the winner has been a mystery for a long time, so this is quite revealing.
@GenuineSpeed4 Looks like a lot of pause buffers on Skateboard Scamper as well. What is being manipulated in this instance?
