In some temples, there are many worshippers... Taiwan is the country with the highest density of religious buildings. It includes Christianity, Catholicism, Buddhism, Taoism, Islam and other multi-religion.

Hi!! We have actually been to Greece before in 2018 - Athens and Santorini!! :) This was way before we started a youtube! We've really been wanting to visit again, we loved it! We've been trying to visit around summertime, but just haven't been able to between covid restrictions and then we have had a close family member struggling with their health that comes first! Do you think there is another warm time of year we should consider going?
Just wondering if Alan’s pants are too tight for him 😅 nice video of your temple visit by the way. I’m glad you guys didn’t try the snake 🐍 because it seems creepy 😱
@@IfWeGoTo I really enjoy your videos but having a snake brutally killed for entertainment, views, likes and all other sorts of things is just so wrong and the practice will continue. Please be considerate of the animal. thank you!
@@riekster6901 Hi there... We appreciate you looking out for animals, but did you actually watch the video? We didn't eat the snake... That said, so long as the animal isn't abused, prone to disease, or pulled from the wild - is it much different from eating *any* farmed animal? That's why we're not necessarily against eating something like snake. (And we have consumed other reptiles before.) Whether or not to consume meat is a debate on its own (and we generally choose to because while traveling it IS part of experiencing other places), but to imply we would have an animal killed just for the purpose of a video is a bit offensive though.... we'd never do that.
Wow I just went to Longshan Temple and Ximending today. Usually there's a farmer market right where you are in the video beside Yuanshan Station, but there could be other kinds of market too. Taiwan is gay-friendly, the first and only Asian country that legalizes gay marriage. But there's almost no gay district in Taiwan. I'm not sure why. Maybe it has something to do with Confucianism and sexual conservatism. 228 Peace Memorial Park was a dark place for gays to secretly linger around at night decades ago, when homosexuality was a taboo.
Oh ok! That's cool that they have a mix of markets!! Yeah we had read about that! It's really cool that Taiwan is setting the stage for elsewhere. I know some countries in Asia are allowing it but are still quite conservative, I'm sure with time there will continue to be more districts and places that pop up! Had no idea about that in 228! Very interesting bit of local knowledge, thank you for sharing!
Hi!! No, we didn’t find Taiwan to be particularly polluted (a couple of days were slightly polluted in Kaohsiung and Tainan)! I think it’s just a cloudy place! I’m sure there’s data on the number of sunny vs cloudy days!
I was just wondering if you have tourist guide. 😂 I'm not a guide but I'll be glad if we can hangout sometime haha. so which country you traveling right now?
Ohh! No we do not have one!! And we absolutely love meeting locals, that would be awesome to meet one day! We are currently in the USA, unfortunately we have a relative who is very sick - so we are on a travel pause for the time being!!

Yeah I think it's more of a shopping/nightlife area which we probably didn't showcase the best! The temples and food are great though!
@@IfWeGoTo You guys did great! I enjoy your Chanel and love that Tea trip. To be able to see the beauty through your lance, I should feel so very fortunate! Thank you so much for sharing!
@@BeautifulThingBoutiq Ahh thank you! The tea trip was one of our favorite things we did!! It seems like we have similar interests!! :)
Thanks for watching and your kind comments!!
6:44 Lockheed C130 Hercules. I wonder what's going on here.
Not sure! They have a lot of military presence around Taiwan though!
When will you come in Greece?
Hahah they are definitely slim fit!! Thank you! Glad you enjoyed the video!!
Maybe next time we will try the snake!!
(And we have consumed other reptiles before.)
Whether or not to consume meat is a debate on its own (and we generally choose to because while traveling it IS part of experiencing other places), but to imply we would have an animal killed just for the purpose of a video is a bit offensive though.... we'd never do that.
❤👍👍👍💪
Thank you!

Thank you! Hope all is well! :D
@@IfWeGoTo thanks be safe out there 🙏
Thank you!! We definitely try to! lol

Thank you!!

Thank you!
All the videos I watch on Taiwan it always look overcast. Is it air pollution?
I'm not a guide but I'll be glad if we can hangout sometime haha.
so which country you traveling right now?
Ohh! No we do not have one!!
And we absolutely love meeting locals, that would be awesome to meet one day!
We are currently in the USA, unfortunately we have a relative who is very sick - so we are on a travel pause for the time being!!
I was there last month, but I dare not to drink the snake soup
Hahaha is it bad to drink or anything??
@@IfWeGoTo Rare and unusual cuisine like that is generally eaten for Chinese medicine or traditional reasons, not because it tastes good.
@@IfWeGoTo I do not have enough courage to try the snake soup, a little scary, haha~
@cscss2923 Oh I see. I have heard that snake tastes similar to chicken, but have not tried it!
@brianhsinchu hahaha, it does take a bit of courage to eat these strange foods!
if you want to check out the authentic Chinese culture, just go to Taiwan. By contrast, the traditional Chinese culture was destroyed in the people's republic of China during the culture revolution.
truth
No need to wear masks now.
This was filmed back in the beginning of this year, many places still requested them. It may have changed now! :)
Please Don’t take this comment seriously, …😂
