DISNEY FOR FREE AT GARDENS BY THE BAY?! // CHILDREN’S FESTIVAL IS A BIG HIT IN SINGAPORE!

It was a girls day out as Jonty and Milo headed to away to climb Mount Kinabalu (video coming soon)
We all loved the first move Inside Out and were super happy to hear the second one will be in cinemas soon. If you haven't seen it I'd encourage you to. But even if you haven't you can still enjoy the Children's Festival. Held every year at the Super Tree Grove the festival promotes fun for the family no matter what age.
Remember to collect your free activity booklet and collect stamps as you go around the different installations and redeem your prize at the end. Aspen had a lot of fun at the activities, her favourite being able to throw huge inflatable balls around an arena!! As a parent it gave lots of opportunities to talk about emotions as we went around and was a great bonding time for us both. It was super quiet the day we went which meant we had the place to ourselves sometimes.
Now Aspen has just turned 9 I noticed some of the installations were a little young for her but she still enjoyed having a go and it means children of younger ages have a way to get involved too.
We stopped for lunch at the Jurassic Nest, a dinosaur themed food court. It was a good experience but the food was high priced. Moving dinosaurs almost made up for it, but not quite.
After lunch we headed back to Aspen's favourite ball arena and redeemed her prize.
