Come to Kovan and Lorong Ah Soo! It's an extension of Hougang with lots of good food. You can cycle down the park connector all the way to Punggol and I'm sure your daughter would love it.
We may have cycled that way already as we often cycle to Punggol. We really like Kovan, that was one of early hawkers we’d go to on our bikes before the kids were able to cycle further. We haven’t been there for a while now.
The harmony park, I would imagine is where the residents around the estate gathers if there are major festivals or events organised etc. Here at my estate (Bedok Reservoir) we have a similar set up/space.
I think we walked along Punggol Waterway Park on our way to Coney Island. Back home in New Zealand now, great to see different areas of Singapore. Love the new intro.
Glad you guys as a family unit went to hougang and visited the Punggol park which I liked too. Too bad this time the otters didn't get you sighted maybe next time.maybe visit the kopitiam behind the park next time but tenderbest is excellent. Bye
Hey, Emmanuel Cycles is one of the shops I frequent regularly! Fun fact - the boss's name is just Manuel, but he figured that Emmanuel is smoother off the tongue compared to Manuel for some people, hence Emmanuel Cycles.
Nice video! I stay just right beside punggol park. I always run there 😆Hougang is actually quite a big area too and an even better thing is that they are building a new mrt line through here too
@@tyoirutyewwll what a lovely place to stay by. A new MRT line will be great 😊 takes us quite a while by bus to get there. We realised it’s quicker for us to cycle to that cafe, so that’s what we will do next week when we go.
@@WONDERLUSTworld awesome! Would love to watch if you do record your cycling vids! There is also another tenderbest just at Punggol beside the golf range. About a 10-15mins cycle from Punggol park too! There is also a great porridge place at 685 Hougang (for breakfast). 😁 its really quiet at where i stay near where the caged basketball court is. Only 1 bus goes through there 27. Really glad to see you exploring Hougang 😅
We went back to Tenderbest this past week with Jonty's parents where his Pa discovered the other one and went there by mistake and wondered where were!! Oops. We were all impressed with the food and the cost was very reasonable for the quality and portion size.
We’ve actually done quite a lot in that area already after a looking at what’s there. We just haven’t done it in one video. We’ve done the nature park, cycled down the long road, the fish farm, Bollywood veggies, we stayed at garden Asia as part of our RIR2. Looks like a golf course there but that’s not really our thing. Anything I’m missing?
At 1:43, that's me in the background, walking like a zombie, to Hougang Mall to return a library book. :D
Oh superb!! Heheh. Was it a good book?
Gosh the kids are growing so fast! I do love how Singapore has made concerted efforts to build in places like the park into the HDB areas.
They sure are. Singapore is still doing more to connect to green spaces. We love it!
Lovely to se the rural S-pore, so relaxing and not so crowded as is central parts 🙂 soo much to explore when we visit next time! Take care!
It’s definitely worth seeing these other smaller neighbourhoods.

Yes Strongly recommend

This is a really cool video. It shows a different side of Singapore. Love it!
Ah thank you! Glad you enjoyed it!! Singapore has SO MUCH to explore and discover. Full of WONDER!

Lovely idea.
neighbourhood looks so peaceful
Yeah it was!
Wow nice. Never knew such a purpose park within a HDB precinct. So unique so beautiful
Yeah it’s got a great set up.
Love seeing the different areas when you get out and about :-) TY
Thanks!! ☺️
👍👍👍👏👏👏
Thank you!!

Hey there thanks for taking the time to watch and comment. Have a wonderful weekend.
Love the view from the cafe 🤗
So good to watch the dogs on their early evening walks and the open water.
Nice to see you exploring this area of Hougang & Punggol Park & Tenderbest we live nearby 😊
Great place to live. Any other good spots nearby we didn’t catch?

Just let us know your size over on our website, have you read Jonty's book yet?
Nice. I happen to jump in and coincidentally met the otter family. Perhaps luck or other reasons. Not sure the time table for this NE trooper
Aww hopefully we’ll get to see them one day.
Hey, I'm a neighbour! Your opening scene was filmed just around the corner from my home. Would've loved to show you around if you'd reached out.
Awww we planned this one a little late!
Hahaha yes Hougang has a lot to offer!
Lovely little area. Have to remember the sports cages for the school holidays.
I love the neighbourhood so much, it’s so fun to explore every corner. 😊

Hello friend, I always enjoy watching your videos, you guys inspired me so much, I have been so busy with restaurant work. 😊
Thanks so much, always nice to hear from you.
@@WONDERLUSTworld Hope it’s possible for us to bump into each other soon. 😊
My husband & his older brother stayed at Hougang with their maternal grandparents. 😊
Oh nice. What areas do they recommend?
@@WONDERLUSTworld I think Hougang Mall has the best food choices. 😊
Can you do Lim Chu Kang next time?

Good thanks, and you?
Wait.... you guys changed the intro?? I love your intro before
Hey, we did!Decided to shake things up a bit. Keep it fresh. Hope the like the other changes, did you spot them?
Local kids play after 5pm due to our weather.
Yeah that makes sense. At least I know where we can take a football now and have a free space.
Singaporeans & Malaysians don't go out in the day time most of them stay in ac spaces like malls etc 😂 That is why it's empty
Yes! That makes sense.
