Dog trainer here! For anyone not wanting to invest in a calming spray for travel (or settling your pup if they get anxious/antsy when you leave them alone), putting a small blanket or hoodie/tshirt that you've worn for a few hours in with them helps as well. Your scent will comfort them, and it's free!

for the molds, another thing to try is bone broth! the honest kitchen or native pet have good ones! we use them and then freeze. another thing is goats milk frozen. :)

I have a golden retriever named Winnie. She’s now 9 months old and she’s a bit of a handful but we are working on it. She’s training to be my service dog and she’s been doing great. She’s at that stage where she just wants to say hi to everyone and she can’t and I feel bad but even if she wasn’t a service dog I wouldn’t let her because she would walk off with anyone.

I highly recommend using a greyhound comb for dogs. Half of a greyhound comb has wide teeth, the other half has thin teeth. If you have a longhaired dog, use the wide end first to get the big tangles out, then use the thin part to finish it up. I have a shorthaired Ridgeback mix and I use the thin end on his fur, it helps get the undercoat out, I also use it on my grandmas Aussie.

My family has a grooming salon in Greece and we have 3 dogs. Gigi a white miniature schnauzer, Jasper a foxhound mix and Jamie a 3 month old, salt and pepper mini schnauzer 🥰
I got Kaede, a japanese shiba inu, last year and she's worn your sunnyside harness's since she was about 3 months old. The last one was only replaced with another brand because we got her back from the kennels after a two week trip where she couldn't come and another dog had helped her to escape from it. However she still wears a small collar of yours in the purple cable collection and it is lasting brilliantly. She used to wear your bows as well but unfortunately she plays rough with the other dog we have (8 year old Lurcher loki) and between them they kill the bow's very quickly. Well done on your business Hannah looking forward to your up and coming collections.

Try using bone broth for the ice molds - you can make it or buy it online! I also personally love adding freeze-dried chicken or different type of meat pieces into the molds too with the broth or goats milk - I get them from pets@home by the brand natures variety!! I’m going to make a folding dog mat that folds small enough to slide into a backpack so about laptop sized inspired by your mat/bag got a 6 month old lab who I’ve been training on a small blanket I also made but I like the idea of something a little thicker and foldable with snaps and tabs keeping it folded for easy portably and I’d like a detachable handle also
When we got our puppy we got her a play pen. And in only a few months she learned to climb over it.
Since you asked, Im getting a chihuahua greyhound mix and her names gonna be lola!

for me, I never put my address on my dog tags anymore. only phone number because I've heard stories of weirdos taking pics of dogs and their tags pretending to think the dog is cute just to stalk the owner. :( but the full dog name tip is also good.
This was so helpful even with a 1 year old Toy Cavoodle. I have been really needing to learn about grooming because I always struggled to get all the knots out of my Maisy. My groomer hasn't been very helpful.

I have the same pooper scooper but blue and that’s was I use every time-this may sound a bit bratty or spoiled, but I don’t think I have picked up a single dog poo with my hands/bag since we’ve had my three year old dog. I mean, regardless, my dog is much bigger than her so my dogs poo is much bigger also lol

I love your videos! I havent had a puppy in my entire life (a.k.a 16 years) I would really love one and i have proven to my Mum that I can take care of a dog and everything like that and Mum is saying that we should get a dog! (Hooray!) But meet my Dad. He loves dogs and isnt scared of dogs and just completely loves them but you may be thinking that means he might agree too! But he says "NO" So I am watching all these puppy videos to try and convince him but it isnt ending up well. My Mum says...."Go and have a try!" and then I go to my Dad and a few minutes later I'm walking up to my Mum in T E A R S but I'm not giving up! I want to have a good childhood and I have a BUNCH of animals but my friends always bug me about not have a cat or dog. I really want a Australian Shepherd, so 1 like= how many chances I have!

Don't have a dog, I was supposed to get one last year, but that went out the window when mum got diagnosed with lung cancer. It was supposed to be a doberman, but post mum's treatment, my chronic illnesses got worse with the stress, and now I'm considering something smaller like a toy poodle
So sorry about your mum x Have you thought about Maltese? They seem to be recommended for those of us with chronic conditions provided we can get them enough exercise (getting attention not a problem). I wish the best for your mum and you 🙏🏼💖
@@clarewillison9379 unfortunately Maltese shed, and although it isn't a lot, that hair is long and hard to clean. That's one of the reasons I looked into poodles, actually, since the curls lock in shedding hair until it can be brushed out (preferably daily). Maltese are also stubborn to train and picky eaters, so generally food motivated training is quite hard with them, and I feel like as a first time dog owner, it would be a recipe for disaster.
